She told him, honestly as she brushed a lock of dark hair out of her eyes and she studied him."I want to know why you gave it to me though." She said, looking around for a minute and then sighing."I'm really not that mad at you anymore...kinda wished I was but, I'm not." Deirdre told him.
Leo simply chuckled, shaking his head as he looked down at the ground flicking his ashes before taking another drag off the rapidly burning and crinkled cigarette. His left hand, the free one, hung onto the back of his neck, letting his palm rest against his jugular as though to stop extensive bleeding or to check his pulse. In truth, he was thinking of the right words to say, but he couldn't come up with any quick witted humor or or snazzy lines. So he just stuck with what he felt was right.
