Amongst all of the other people who were running around the train before it took off, as she was fighting her way through all of them, Adrienne caught sight of October. Almost immediately, the mood around her went cold, and her eyes narrowed as her lips fell into a frown. Oh, cousin dearest. Just the sight was enough to make her grimace. Her gaze didn’t stay on her very long as she strode past. Hopefully, this year she would be easily ignored.
Adrienne’s mood changed quickly though, when she looked into one of the compartments and saw Jake, and her large smile was back as she slid the door open. His eyes were closed, so she chose to sit across for him, just in case he didn’t want her to stay in case he was trying to nap.
“ Sleeping?” She asked with a joking smile, though it was quiet just in case he really was.
