Through this maelstrom of people, Bellatrix Lestrange et Violaine darted between the students, making her way towards the train. She did not cast her dark, shadowed eyes back, because there was no one to see there; at last, her parents had been letting her cross over to Platform 9 3/4 on her own from the very beginning, not enthusiastic about the idea of wasting time saying good bye to their daughter. That suited Bellatrix just fine--if not because her parents' idea of an enthusiastic, loving goodbye was "I will disown you if you fail any of your classes this year", then because she simply preferred it that way. Doing things on her own was something Bellatrix, growing up as an only child of rather draconian, strict parents, had learnt to appreciate quickly.
Behind the girl trailed a single large trolley case, the handle held in one hand while the other kept a grip on a cage; within the cage, sitting on its perch, was a rather irate-looking snow owl that glared out at everyone passing by as if there was nowhere in the world it wouldn't rather be than here. Had they been alone, Bellatrix would have locked her black eyes on the owl's own yellow pupils and whispered, "Don't look so unhappy, Vincent." But she would be hard-pressed to do that so clearly in the eye of the public, and either way had they been alone there was no doubt Vincent would not have worn such a bitter expression on his snow-white, irritable face. In any case, Bellatrix couldn't exactly talk when her own expression was one that somehow managed to combine perpetual boredom and apathy with a hint of contempt in there as well; over the years, that had somehow become natural, as if her face had been designed specifically to wear that mask.
The young witch walked up the steps leading into the train, and glanced into the nearest compartment to her. It was empty, so Bellatrix walked into it and closed the compartment door behind her, and then set to placing her belongings in the luggage racks overhead. Having done this, she seated herself, and watched the door, as if it were a captivating film of some sort. Hopefully, [Male 2] would find her in this compartment, or at least one of the other Death Eaters. Their presence, she desired. One thing she didn't desire was for some stranger to walk in--much less if that stranger turned out to be some sort of talkative first year. Knowing my luck, Bellatrix thought, biting her pale lip. That is exactly what will happen.

Jake found an empty room and put his stuff up in the luggage racks, leaned back in his seat and closed his eyes, not bothering to change out of his muggle clothes.

Nervous chatter of a little girl and her parents dragged her attention from her delema. October's features softened slightly at the sight of her. The girl was definately smaller than most students and her parents looked more out of place than anyone else who was making their way down the platform. She knew she should have helped the girl as her immediate reaction to the sight was to step over and guide her onto the train, but the yerning to see Jason before the train started was overwhelming. Feeling only a pinch of guilt, she swung back around and boarded the train.
As she found herself slinking down the aisle, her dark eyes found Jake entering the last compartment. Happy to see her friend, she trotted past the other Gryffindor students and into the compartment. Seeing that his eyes were closed and not wanting to disturb him, October quietly placed her bags across from him before heading back out towards the clatter of Slytherin. They were noisy, rather annoying, and eyed her as she searched their compartments for Jason. After an exhausting journey her search was over. There he sat consumed in a book. Without saying a word, she slid down the bench to sit beside him.

As she searched the train for an empty compartment she wondered if she would find her friend Nolen, though it had become a little more than friends right before summer holidays. Nolen and she had been friends since they were first years, but just last year Nolen admitted to Colette that he had romantic feelings for her. This gave Colette the courage to tell him that she felt the same way about him. They had posted to each other all summer and Colette was beginning to feel as though they might be considered a couple. Glad to find an empty compartment, she struggled putting her luggage up on the racks and then she let Smidge out. The little kitten, weaved in out of her legs as if to say thank you, she leaned in the entrance of the car waiting to see if she could catch Nolen so they could share a compartment.

October grinned as Jason pulled her into a hug. Relieved that he was still as normal as always, she returned the hug. She had always loved his smell. Something about it warmed her, made her want to spend more time with him. "I've been alright, a little lonesome without my man next to me twenty-four-seven." She leaned her head against his shoulder. His hair had gotten longer and he had a delicate tan that looked exceptional on him. After a moment she broke the hug and moved to sit indian style. "Anywho, you ready to get back to school? I can't wait to eat the food. It's a billion time better than the food I get at home." Perhaps it was immature to say, but food meant a lot to someone who was a dog part-time.
Overhead the train whistle sounded as a warning to the students; five minutes until the train departs. October let out a weary sigh. "I'll see you later, mmmk?" She leaned in and placed a light kiss to his cheek before jumping up and dancing back to her compartment.

“ Come on, Adri, we haven’t seen you in months! Your boyfriend can wait until you’re in your robes, can’t he?” They were all standing in one of the compartments, though she was in the doorway, her cat in her arms. Her luggage was already packed in the luggage racks here, so she didn’t have to worry about it anymore.
“ I’ll come back when I change into my robes, okay?” She didn’t feel like explaining how much she had missed them, or the fact that she had managed to miss him more than them. With a few mumbled goodbyes and waves, she was on her search for Jake. No Owl had been received from him, probably her fault, but that didn’t mean that she had no intentions of at least saying hi. Problem was, where was he hiding? Adri caught her reflection in the mirror and paused for just a fraction of a second to check her appearance. Makeup and hair was all good, so was her outfit, no wrinkles in her loose fitting tee or her shorts, awesome. It didn’t hurt trying to look her best, right? Feeling good that she looked nice, she went back on her search, absentmindedly petting her cat as she went.

The hand on her arm jolted her into reality and she wirled around with wide eyes. "Bloody hell, Jason, you scared me to death," October said, relaxing. A light flush tinted her pale cheeks. "Alright, but you come sit with me. I don't want to sit near your friends, no offence..." She shrugged off his grasp so she could take him by the hand, push past the Ravenclaw girl, and lead him to her compartment where Jake already resided reading his book.

Alexander stared up at the large train at Platform 9 3/4. It was just as he remembered and just as rustic as ever. A light frown on his lips, he strudged up the train stairs and into the Ravenclaw section. As he passed his House members they watched him with unwelcoming smiles. They couldn't understand him, why he hung out with such dark people. He stopped in his tracks and folded his arms. "Do you mind?" he growled. "I don't personally like you ugly people staring at me." Face returning to its frown, he found his own compartment and threw his belongings to the seat.
"Now where's Belatrix?" he thought aloud and headed for the Slytherin seats.

She stood from her seat, and slid the compartment door open, glancing to either side of her on the train, hoping to catch sight of the familiar mane of black hair, or the ever-present leather jacket that signified the arrival of Alexander Dolohov. Not far away, her eyes finally found him, glancing around the Slytherin section himself. "Alex!" she called out over the din of students, and then pointed to the compartment she was sitting in. Technically Alex wasn't supposed to sit in the Slytherin section, but, as Bellatrix remembered with an inward smile, since when did Alex give two hoots about what he was and wasn't supposed to do?

Moving swiftly he removed his trunk from the trolley and walked with purpose to the nearest train car door and moved inside, he held his head high and wore his house crest proudly on his lapel. He loved Hufflepuff and was not afraid to defend it when one of the Slytherins or Ravenclaws made fun of him for it. It got to the point where nothing they said could get a reaction out of him, so eventually they just stopped.
As he walked through the train cars he searched for Colette excited to be seeing her again after the summer and after all of the posts that they had sent back and forth.
He found the Hufflepuff section and waved to all of his classmates and friends, ecstatic about seeing them all again.
He found Colette hanging out of a compartment looking for him, relief washed across his face as he happily entered the compartment. Swiftly he proceeded to stow his trunk, shut the door to the compartment release Blizzard from her harness and finally he turned to Colette and enveloped her in a bear hug. " I am so happy to see you!" he said into her hair his voice trembling slightly with joy.

The train was suddenly moving. Where she was sitting, October jumped a little in surprise. Jake hadn't seemed to notice them yet, but Jason still looked uncomfortable sitting with him. Perhaps he knew of their tight friendship. Well no matter. "Hey, you want to go somewhere more private?" she asked quietly so not to disturb Jake. Her dark eyes watched him quietly. Being close to him made her wrist hurt. The mark pressed into her skin was throbbing, but she ignored it expertly. "I don't mind. We can find another compartment," she added after a moment of silence.

Bellatrix watched as Alex practically started shoving other kids out of his way to get to the compartment, and could not help but smile a bit. It had been one long summer, one summer too long, since she had seen Alexander--during which time they had corresponded with one another, of course. But they could only actually see each other at Hogwarts; they lived too far apart otherwise. Bellatrix would be the lowest of liars if she were to say she didn't wish she could hang out with Alex outside of the school, but, as she reminded herself, she could only be glad that at least they could see one another at Hogwarts. When Bellatrix's family had had to move house from the city where she and Alex had lived for years, she had feared that she was going to lose her only true friend.
Finally, Alexander had roughly made his way through the crowd of students, and pushed himself into the compartment, seating himself across from Bellatrix. "Hey!" he said brightly. "How was your summer?"
"Oh, same as ever," Bellatrix replied, allowing her smile now to become fully formed, no longer needing to hide it from the prying eyes of other students. "The way my parents run things, summer may as well still be Hogwarts, but a lot less fun." As if in concurrence, Vincent gave another hoot, fixing his yellow eyes on Alexander like an over-protective brother suspiciously watching the companions of his sister. "I imagine yours was filled with the usual pranks and games?"

"Heyyy guys, sorry i was kinda half asleep haha,"Jake said while chuckling and sitting up a little bit so he was in a more comfortable position.
"How everybody been,"Mostly aiming the question at October and Adri, ignoring Jason.
"Oh and Adri, I wouldn't mind if you'd rather sit with your friends..."He said giving her a slight smile.

"When do you think we'll start our plan to become the leaders of wizard and witches alike?" Alex went on with a smile, but before she could reply, the smile became a semblance of a frown. "I don't understand him at all. What's with that Gryffindor girl he's so obsessed with? Personally I think the grandson of Voldemort should be a little more evil than our fuzzy hearted leader..."
"Indeed," Bellatrix nodded. "For all his faults, his grandfather at least recognised that in the pursuit of power something like romance is little more than a roadblock..." Bellatrix trailed off a bit, knowing full well that there was a part of her that refused to believe those words, even if the part of her that demanded nothing less than perfection and fulfilling the prodigious legacy of Bellatrix Lestrange's magical talent wholeheartedly took to heart those words.

Colette knelt down and petted Blizzard, "How goes it Blizzard", she asked the serval. Everyone thought it odd quite odd for someone to have a wild cat as a pet. But Colette found it intriguing, and was surprised at how well behaved the the animal was. What she did worry about is Smidge, he was a playful kitten, that was still to young to understand that you should bother something bigger than yourself. "I hope you can get along with Smidge", she said to the serval.

"Anyways, Bellatrix, I missed you over the summer," Alexander said and gazed out the window. He was the slightest bit nervous, but he had to get it out. Nobody understood why he liked her, a Slytherin. Perhaps it was her good looks. She was dazzling in his eyes whether others thought or not. Or perhaps it was her personality, harsh yet gentle in all the right places. "I mean, it's disappointing that you moved away..." He frowned lightly, but didn't turn his attention from the window.
October, although impassive, felt her heart thump against her chest. Although Jason was enjoyable, at times he could go a little overboard. But she didn't have the heart to tell him. He was everything she had, other than Jake's friendship. Adri and her didn't even get along, so that relationship was over. She watched Jason as he spoke to Jake and Adri. It hurt to see him act like that. But... she had accepted him as he was when they began dating. A shiver ran through her as he whispered in her ear. "Yeah sure whatever," she replied, flustered. The dark-haired witch leaned against Jason and took his hand in her own.

But she gave no indication of that, of course she couldn't. "Yeah," she said, trying to make her soft, still voice sound off-handed and nonchalant. "It was a pity." A part of her protested at this--tried to drive her to say more, say something that gave perhaps a deeper indication of how she felt about the whole thing. But Bellatrix remained silent, and said no more.
((Same, sorry for the crappy little post. Hopefully when we get off the train there will be more to do and say XD))
