Amir paced around the outside perimeter of his home his neck arched and a tail that fanned out behind him in the breeze that darted in-between the trees. Amir didn't necessarily stay in one particular place for too long although he mainly resided around Foresta where he felt most at home amongst the other inhabitants. His home consisted of a shelter made from wood. Amir didn't like to be cut off from the world and liked an open space so the simple open plan of his home was ideal for his claustrophobic tendencies.
Inside there wasn't much apart from a bed of hay in which he had cut the grass himself allowing it to try out into hay where he laid upon it, he changed it every few days as soon as it lost it's initial bouncy comfortable feeling but he wasn't one to let his home become messy.
He had a small space in the corner that was shut off from the world where he occasionally went to be alone. He didn't use that small space a lot at all, being idle was his greatest enemy and instead of sulking in misery he'd go for a run or just pace around like he was doing right then.
Anyone who was unfamiliar with the Stallion's odd way of doing things would simply think that he was bored and just wasting his time but inside Amir's mind he was hard at work thinking up simple plans and thinking to himself in the reserved and secluded manner that often annoyed animals who lived near by him: pacing around for what could seem hours on end. Around his home was a worn track of Earth in which his hooves had worn down over his endless pacing while he was there.
Amir thinks of himself as a 'Rags to Riches' type of story where a young hot headed stallion managed to curb his attitude and turn himself into someone who had left a mark on the vast world. Well at least he hoped he did. As a colt he had participated in the usual mischievous activities but after a few dangerous run in's, he joined the army and that was the start of his journey to the top. For it it has made Amir quite a proud noble character, although somewhat too proud of himself at times which could prove to become annoying among the animals below him but he remained respectful to everyone knowing that one day, a much younger more intelligent and younger animal will soon take over his position.
A part of Amir was feeling anxious especially on the thought of the Reformers. He had plans of heading over to see Razzul in a short while but he was just trying to make all of his thoughts clear. He had heard news of the mudslides over in Forte and he was wary that Razzul's mind may be more concerned with more pressing matters than what Amir was planning to do next with his army of all too ready animals ready to act on the slightest instruction.
"You know, you should really get a better hobby instead of pacing around all day." A squirrel which was perched on a tree branch teased before running down the trunk to stop in front of Amir who was jerked out of his train of thought to his annoyance.
Stamping a hoof he walked past his annoying neighbour the plucky little creature who Amir only barely remembered his name as 'Max', usually Amir was quite disgusted how the little creature could talk to him in such a manner when he demanded so much respect. It was possible that on hearing stories from the past of the way humans respected their Sergeants and Generals...Amir just wanted to recapture that greatness that came in the military.
"Why don't you got and find some nuts or something?" Amir shot back in annoyance out of loosing his train of thought. Was it uncommon for Amir to respond in such a hard way? Most of the time yes. But Amir was sure glad that whenever he left home that he always got to have some time away from his nosy neighbour.
It didn't take long but Amir had managed to raise a small speech that he'd deliver to Razzul. His main concern was making it quick and simple enough just to let the Chief know what he was up to. He flew along at a great speed: the greatest asset that Amir had, his hooves pounding along the earth as he moved along weaving his way in and out of tree's, navigating around ditches, ponds and large boulders before he managed to reach the main city. When he finally reached it he maneuvered his way asking a few of the animals lazing around who pointed him in the right direction.
"Chief, I have a few concerns. I understand you have other problems right now but just give me a moment and that's all I need of your time." Amir started as soon as the green and white wolf that he knew fairly well appeared in view in tow with Comet and Akira. Amir nodded a greeting to the other animals, bowing his head to the chief.
