Smirking a little as he followed his fiance and closed the door, Colin almost started forward before noticing that Renee was still taking the enormity of the castle in. Highly amused, he forced himself not to break into a wide smile. The look on your face is priceless, right now. "This place is huge, I could be lost for days here. How do you find your way around?" "They gave me an escort at the beginning, but sooner or later it kind of just sunk in." Aimlessly glancing around while waiting for Renna, he saw that multiple princes and princesses alike were already leaving. Taking a moment to think of a place to go, Colin ran a hand through his hair as a lightbulb flicked on in his head.
Grinning ever so slightly, he turned towards her. "Hey, there's this place I want to show you. It's not that far and well... You'll see." Colin gave a couple seconds for Renna before walking off at a relatively steady pace, hoping that the girl could keep up easily. Passing by a neko on a balcony, he rounded a quick corner to meet a sudden rush of sound; the crash of waterfalls close by. Isn't magic convenient? Even sound isn't much of a problem, at least beyond certain boundaries.
Walking by large empty arches on the side of the hall, (which led to a continuous terrace in open air) Colin finally stopped at a wide, circular platform that gave a perfect and unrestricted view of the outside. As if carved into the castle from the mountain, a waterfall tumbled down from some high place obscured by the semi-darkness, glistening as it roared in the night. Under the platform, the continuous torrent of water crashed into a pool of water before reaching the edge and falling again. A light mist from the fall covered the scene, creating a sense of fantasy with the perfect scenery of stars, the sky, and barely visible forests below.
Stepping out, Colin leaned sideways on the railing a bit to catch Renna's reaction.
