Loki Rineheart

Loki was fairly upset, but was glad to see his brother leaving. He watched Draven walk out of the ballroom. As his eyes followed him Loki caught the sight of a girl wearing yellow. It looked as if she witnessed the whole thing. Loki wore a weak smile, but she turned quickly away from his gaze. Soon she was approached by another couple so he didn't press the matter. He then turned to where Miku had stood. "I'm sorry you had to-" Loki begun, but he cut himself off when he realized she wasn't there. His wings puffed out at the sight of her missing from his side. Loki cursed under his breath. He then started to storm out of the ballroom. As he passed the refreshment table he looked at the girl in yellow. Loki swore he saw a tail on her, but her face is what caught his attention most. She seemed a little worried and upset at the same time. Loki having his own problems to deal with pressed on out of the ballroom.

Loki's next step was to find Miku. A hard task to accomplish in a palace this size. His walk was very defined by his want to find Miku as he wandered the halls by himself. His thoughts drifted to her which made him smile. He remembered the song she had sung before they first met. Loki decided it was a good time as any to summon a dove. Loki slowed his pace as he motioned his hand out in front of him. It looked as if the dove was thrown from his sleeve as it appeared before him. The dove kept pace with him with light flutters back and forth behind him. It began to sing and this soothed Loki. At least Draven hadn't ruined his whole night. He must find Miku so he could apologize for his own rudeness. In the mean time Loki would enjoy the tune the dove was producing for him.

Miku Tsuiyomi

Miku was surely awestruck by the beauty of the palace. It was a very beautiful palace, filled with the tiniest of details here and there. So far, she had almost explored all of the 1st floor, but there were probably a ton of other floors for her to explore later. Well, I'll never be bored in here. she thought. There will always be something to do with all of the floors of the palace... and then there's always the fiance thing that I'll have to deal with.. Miku sighed when she thought about this. She was going to have to spend the rest of her life with someone she barely even knows, and what if she never feels anything towards him? That would be miserable.. she thought as she walked around.

As Miku walked through the halls of the palace, there were some windows here and there, and when she was looking out of one of them, she saw someone standing outside near the door to the ballroom. Who is that...? she thought for a second while looking out of the window. Isn't that Loki's brother, the one who was annoying him out in the ballroom...? What was his name again... I think it was Draven or something... Since she was on the first floor, he could probably see her.
"You're Loki's brother, right?" she asked as she continued to look out of the window at the demon.

Jaida Clyne

Jaida took a nervous sip from her glass at the pause that followed the answer to her question. Leave it to her to say something that was probably offensive or none of her business. "Oh how rude of me," continued Leon breaking the silence, " let me introduce ourselves. This is Vanilla Shuguro," He said gesturing to the pink neko who was seemingly no longer interested in the cake. "And I'm Leon De'Strelles, the idiot husband that got chosen for you Jaida." He said with a bow.

An intake of breath chose the wrong moment as Jaida miss-swallowed her drink, coughing with her hand covering her mouth as she stared at the now named prince. “You...You’re Leon?!” And here I was thinking they were a couple... though that explanation was hasty come to think of it. Nonsense. He was just talking with the Neko. Shaking the thought off her gaze was caught by a passing of white in the corner of her eye. The angel, who appeared – no pun intended – as if his feathers were extremely ruffled. He was definitely handsome, and looked like he could use a bit of cheering up at the moment. Perhaps... Focus!

Snapping her attention back to Leon, Jaida gave a polite nod of her head as Vanilla excused herself to apparently track down her own fiancĂ©. Now it was just the two of them with Jaida feeling like a sputtering fool. “Sorry, I mean I’m glad to finally meet you. You surprised me. And I highly doubt you’re the idiot husband. I’m pretty sure that title is being held by one of my older brothers.” A smile breaking across her face at the attempt to lighten the mood, she was silently kicking herself for her previous train of thought. Leon seemed like he had a good sense of humour about the situation, and he was indeed very likable. Red hair she could see herself wanting to pass a hand through, and intelligent eyes that she wanted to know what they could tell her.

But that other man... He moved so gracefully, even with whatever mood he held leaving; it was entrancing to watch. And he was chivalry polite to the girl that had tripped...

Whatever was going on here?! Looking at Leon, her heart skipped a beat at the thought of being betrothed to him; yet, at the same time it sunk when the angel had so swiftly left the room without a chance to speak a word to him.

Taking a moment to set down her drink to cover the pause, Jaida glanced around the room surprised at how empty it had become without her notice. “Looks like the paryt is over. I would have liked to have been able to talk to you more.” And surprisingly, she desperately did. “I wasn’t allowed in this part of the castle before, so I don’t really know my way back to my room or wherever it is they moved us girls to now. Would you um...” Now is not the time to go all blushy Jaida! But blush she did. “Would you care to escort me?”

Leon De'Strelles

“You...You’re Leon?!” She coughed out apparently choking on her drink, but before Leon could offer her help she recovered and continued.

“Sorry, I mean I’m glad to finally meet you. You surprised me. And I highly doubt you’re the idiot husband. I’m pretty sure that title is being held by one of my older brothers.” She said with a smile breaking out. He liked her feral smile. He couldn't help but smile in return. He was also inwardly thanking his lucky stars that she took his comment the right way and she seemed to have already forgotten Vanilla, who he assumed had walked off in the middle of his conversation with his betrothed. He was conflicted with her absence. Part of him longed for the cute pink girl to have staid but he also was happy she left due to the awkwardness of the situation. Besides he didn't want his wife to suspect him of being unfaithful before they are even married.

“Looks like the party is over. I would have liked to have been able to talk to you more. I wasn’t allowed in this part of the castle before, so I don’t really know my way back to my room or wherever it is they moved us girls to now. Would you um...” she blushed softly before continuing, “Would you care to escort me?”

Leon beamed at her and held out his right arm. "It'd be my pleasure, mi lady" He said as she linked arms with him. "However, I feel obligated to tell you that we will be sharing a room. I know, I know, what a wonderful way to get to know a stranger." He said attempting to make the awkwardness of their situation funny. Inwardly he reminded himself that his room was a mess from his research he had been doing the night before. "I swear our parents do this as revenge for any slight we caused them." He said with a laugh as he lead her down the hall.

Renna Hex

As Renna walked alongside Colin she looked back and caught a glimpse of one of the other princes leaving the ball room. He was dark, handsome, and a demon. She didn't know why, but there was something about him... she couldn't look away. She snapped back to the present as Colin opened the door and mock bowed to her. Smiling and mentally shaking herself she moved past him and replied, "Why thank you my kind sir."

She gazed around taking in everything, this place was beyond huge, this place was enormous. Her mouth formed a perfect little o as she stared around. Closing her moth she said quietly," this place is huge, I could be lost for days here. How do you find your way around?'

Vanilla Shuguro

Vanilla walked through the hallways looking around. "Nyaa~ This place is huge!~" She said to herself smiling. She always did love adventure. She countinued down the corridors. 'Hmmm... I never really did find my fiance...' She thought to herself. She really hoped that her fiance would be a nice playful guy. She didn't want to have a boring, stay in one place husband. She smiled as she found a door, opening it to find a balconey that leads outside. She looked up at the stars and smiled to herself. "So pretty...~" She said to herself. 'I remember you could see ALL the stars in my homeland...' Vanilla missed her friends and family. She missed being able to play and go out whenever she wanted. She sighed and took off her mask looking down at it. "Hding the truth behind a mask...~" She said, then started humming. She then looked down at her dress. "This thing is getting annoying..." She reached down and riped the bottom off so that it was down to her midthigh now. She sighed in content, happy that she could move around more freely again.

Colin Williams

Smirking a little as he followed his fiance and closed the door, Colin almost started forward before noticing that Renee was still taking the enormity of the castle in. Highly amused, he forced himself not to break into a wide smile. The look on your face is priceless, right now. "This place is huge, I could be lost for days here. How do you find your way around?" "They gave me an escort at the beginning, but sooner or later it kind of just sunk in." Aimlessly glancing around while waiting for Renna, he saw that multiple princes and princesses alike were already leaving. Taking a moment to think of a place to go, Colin ran a hand through his hair as a lightbulb flicked on in his head.

Grinning ever so slightly, he turned towards her. "Hey, there's this place I want to show you. It's not that far and well... You'll see." Colin gave a couple seconds for Renna before walking off at a relatively steady pace, hoping that the girl could keep up easily. Passing by a neko on a balcony, he rounded a quick corner to meet a sudden rush of sound; the crash of waterfalls close by. Isn't magic convenient? Even sound isn't much of a problem, at least beyond certain boundaries.

Walking by large empty arches on the side of the hall, (which led to a continuous terrace in open air) Colin finally stopped at a wide, circular platform that gave a perfect and unrestricted view of the outside. As if carved into the castle from the mountain, a waterfall tumbled down from some high place obscured by the semi-darkness, glistening as it roared in the night. Under the platform, the continuous torrent of water crashed into a pool of water before reaching the edge and falling again. A light mist from the fall covered the scene, creating a sense of fantasy with the perfect scenery of stars, the sky, and barely visible forests below.

Stepping out, Colin leaned sideways on the railing a bit to catch Renna's reaction.

Draven Rineheart

Finally he was out of that dreadfully over-decorated ballroom. It felt like Draven could breathe at last as he tore the extravagant mask from his face. Really, a masquerade – there was nothing more foolish. People were easily recognized by their voice and their mannerisms. Covering the face hid nothing. It was simply another source of irritation. He wasn’t fond of the idea of carrying such a useless object around all day, so Draven instead carelessly cast it over his shoulder as he walked. Who cared where it landed?

Frankly put, the demon was bored
very bored. The palace was pretty and luxurious and all, for sure, but there was very little he could actually enjoy within its walls. Perhaps he should go search for a raven? That seemed an appropriately entertaining course of action for him, but just as Draven was about to do so, he heard a clear tone call out, “You’re Loki’s brother, right?”

Oh how he hated being called that angel’s brother
Although Draven often called the angel such to annoy him, the demon was also greatly irritated by reference to their relation. He immediately looked up, searching for the offender. Then he spotted her in the distance – a slight young girl
a person he most certainly hadn’t expected. Loki’s fiancé  how interesting. What was her name again
? Even though he couldn’t quite recall, he pulled on a smile and waved to the girl.

“Yes – but do call me Draven,” he called across to her. What route did he have to take to get to the short girl’s window again? Really, he couldn’t quite recall her full name
he hadn’t thought it necessary to remember it. ’Miku
?’ Her surname completely escaped him. “If I recall correctly, you’re Miku,” he said, ignoring the fact that he might be being a little too familiar with her. Honestly, he didn’t really care.

Renna Hex

Renna had heard the waterfall before she saw it, a loud crashing of water that made her wonder where exactly Colin was taking her. She hadn't for one second so much as thought it would be something like this. The water cascaded down the wall, and you couldn't see the top so it appeared as if it had no end. Then there was the moon... It shown brightly in the sky and it's reflection rippled across the surface of the waterfall. It was like something out of one of her novels, it was like something out of a fantasy. If she could just stay here forever and gaze at the reflection of the the moon on the waterfall life would be perfect. Renna closed her eyes and inhaled deeply, letting the scents of the outdoors wash over her. Then, opening her eyes, she pulled of her mask and slipped it into the folds of the large blue bow on her dress so she could see everything clearer.

Renna sighed a bit, a peaceful smile lighting her face. Then remembering Colin, and how she was supposed to be cooler then ice, she tried to feign interference.
"This is pretty cool," She said, trying hard not to allow her voice to swell with joy. She began to think over all the steps and turns they'd taken, she wanted to be able to come back here.

Annabelle Rose

Annabelle felt her now short blonde waves. Her aunt had hacked of her long blonde curls before she left to signfy her moving on into a new life. Now her hair just barly reached her shoulders. She was dressed in a strapless dress made with black silk, with a pale blue ribbon tied around her middle. With a little sigh, she covered her face with her mask ((the link for her mask is at the bottom)) and glanced at the others. They all had gone off with their princes, happily chatting away. Bell kept to herself, trying hard not to be noticed. That was clearly working for her.
The ballroom was stunning, yet scarey at the same time. She thought as she looked around. Where she came from, you never saw anything like thise. Closing her eyes, she wondered where her prince was. Ventus Heart. Her prince's name had etched itself into her brain, and she couldn't push away her worried thoughts. 'What if he doesn't like me? What if he's bitter and cruel? What if. . .' She could go on and on. Closing her sky blue eyes, she tried to force herself to stop. He's probably -at best- like Aunt Riley's lazy old cat. He probably expects everything to always be served to him on a silver platter. I'll probably be miserable. Well, that didn't work. Opening her blue eyes, she decided to bravely step out to where the others where. Trying to pretend like she didn't care if anyone noticed her, she glanced around for anyone who looked like a lazy old cat. After all, it's what her aunt had told her to expect. She had pretty much laughed at her neice, saying she was better off dying as a lonley old cat lady. Just like her. Annabelle would rather die then have to live like that.

Ventus
Ventus watched as other members of the hall meet their fiances through various means. He wondered if love could be so forced. That if you just put two people in a room, they would fall for each other. He doubted it was so straight laced. He took particular note of watching Henna as she left, she definitely had an allure to he was drawn to. Alas, she was currently with someone, so approaching her was out of the question.

Just as Ventus was about to leave, he spotted a woman enter into the hall. She fit the description of the girl he was looking for. However, he didn't think much of her. She was cute, he would give her that. With her short blond hair and gentle demeanor. However, Ventus liked woman with power and strength. Something he believed this woman lack.

Regardless he approached her with a smile on his face. While he failed to see any development between them. It didn't mean he wasn't going to be civil. "Hey there, my name is Ventus Heart, it's a pleasure to meet you" He bowed, smiling at her.

Colin grinned at the reaction on Renna's face, almost plainly saying that she'd liked his discovery, before it disappeared as she tried to hide it. "This is pretty cool." Chuckling at her tone of voice, he shifted his gaze back to the enchanting scenery around them for a moment. "Yep. You don't have to pretend not to like it, I can pretty much tell, anyway." Pausing, he took a couple breaths and exhaled for the peace. "It's always been a place for people to gather, in the day. But they don't really notice that it's even better at night." And I only knew because of all those times I ran away here..

Looking at the sky, Colin had started to yawn before realizing how late it really was. As he approached Renna, he fully felt the stiffness in his limbs from the excessive dancing at the party and internally groaned. Being rather good at keeping a straight face, he smiled. "I'll draw a map or something for you later, if you want. Just to get here, though. Wouldn't want you to miss out on the fun of exploring this place, would we? Now, it's getting late." Colin mockingly bowed again, gesturing with his arms to halls of the castle. "An escort to your rooms, madame?"
