Several of the inmates were carefully examining the area around the newly opened window at the very from of the cell block, that's when one of them noticed something odd. "Hey you guys, look at this." The man had drawn the others attention to the strange markings on the floor. Running a finger along the groove they could see that it had the shape of a square and piled up around the groove on either side was the chalky dust-fragments. "Hey, I think someone cut an opening in the floor here." Another inmate added. The controller of cell block 5 had heard the observation through one of the many hidden listening devices and immediately pulled the lever which activated the trap door. Four men fell straight down that shaft, only to exit cell block 5 directly below the window that had been opened with such cruel intent. The four were spit out the opening just above the first level of the block, winding up on their heads and knees before 15 walking dead things. Fortunately for them this section of the courtyard was portioned off from the remaining grounds, a kind of torture pit into which only a few zombies had been kept. The inmates of cell block 5 could do nothing for their fellow prisoners, except to watch the carnage soon to played out before them.

The three male-friends in cell block 6 would serve as the Guinea pigs for experiment 1b3, the experiment will test the accuracy and effectiveness of the Inhibitor. Unbeknownst to the prisoners their jailers had added something special into the breathable air within each cell block. All normal channels of airflow into the building had been cut off so that they might have complete control over the levels of injection. Within an hour the inhibitor will begin the degradation of the poor souls of cell block? Only those who have recently been imprisoned will remain unaffected, the 12 recently awoken inmates are safe for the time being. The events of the next few hours within cell block 6 will be carefully studied.

Devin and the others were astonished to discover that the main door to cell block 2 was wide open, giving them the first opportunity to see what lay beyond the prison. What they found was a wide open space and nothing more, they had been let into the third floor of the stunted, fat tower which had connected to it all 6 cell blocks, unfortunately the outer doors which lead into the other blocks were still closed tight. The stairs leading down to the second level were also barricaded. But then, from the door leading into cell block 1 a faint clanking sound was detected.

It had been decided that a second test of the inhibitor was needed, it was a simple scientific principle, any experiment should be repeated for comparison sake, this second test would be carried out in cell block 1. KC had one full hour until the inhibitor is completely filtered from the air, 60 minutes before those around KC are affected.
