Nova

It was indeed a decent sized drop, but not one so deep that you had to stumble forward once you landed. Having made said jump without thinking too much of it, the first thing Nova noticed was not the eerie shadows and shapes of shade that bounced around the cave as a result of the Borak's light, but rather the drastic drop in temperature that the Ausi felt as soon as he fell out of the inferno above. It was quite refreshing, especially the damp mud on his weary paws.

Hearing BattleDemon's call, Nova trotted over to her pathetic form that lay in the mud. The lake came up rather suddenly, it wasn't a smooth transition into the water like one might find on the shore of a lake, but rather like a small muddy ledge that dropped for about thirty centimeters before meeting up with the freezing pond. It looked like it would be rather hard to pull oneself out after jumping in, there was hardly anything to grab onto for support. It was a wonder BattleDemon made it out as quickly as she did.

Nova didn't really fancy swimming. Perhaps he could freeze the surface of the water and they could just walk across? It all depended on how low the ceiling came. He called over to the Borak to come over and shed some light on the situation, after which he turned to BattleDemon and said with a hint of concern, "I realize this is quite a stupid question, but are you alright?"
