"Since you're coming home with me today, guess that means I'm coming with you!" She smiled a little and played with the strap of her bag while he kept talking. "Aw, but I love your dad! He's so nice.." she let her sentence hang in the air. Darci had remembered going over Tyler's house and seeing his parents. Every time she saw them they seemed so in love with each other. The thought made her frown. Darci had never known what happened. Her parents wouldn't tell her because it-as they put it- "their place to tell", or "her business". Tyler hadn't really mentioned it either, but if he wanted to tell her, he would have. Pushing him to tell her wasn't the best idea, so the topic was left alone. One thing she did know, was that Tyler came over more often than usual, which was fine with her.

"Hey, can Uncle Kurt and Uncle Blaine take me clothes shopping this weekend?" Tyler had asked. Darci laughed. When it came to clothing, movies, shows, and music, her parents were always frank and opinionated-Kurt more than Blaine. "You know they'd love to go with you, but we'll have to see if they can. Hey, if you want a girl's opinion on what you'll wear in the distant future..." Her sentence trailed off as she pretended to be thoroughly interested in the walls of the school.

The first period bell signaled, and Darci sighed. Time for Advanced Geometry, she thought to herself. Turning to Tyler, she punched his arm lightly. "Guess I'll seen you in Gym then," she said. Starting to walk down the hallway, Darci called over her shoulder her final words to him before they saw each other next in Gym. "Try not to miss me too much, and have fun in Geometry!" Turning herself back around, she continued walking until she was out of sight.
