She saw Alex smile and then she brought up cheerleading tryouts. Darci's face dropped. Okay, so maybe I should tryout... she thought to herself. Sighing, she shook her head. "Uh, I'll think about it," she said. "Cheerleading's not really my thing. I don't really like the idea of skirts that fly up when you spin around.." Her eyes found their way to Alex's Cheerio skirt disapprovingly. Smiling sweetly then, she finished her thoughts. "Thanks for the offer though."

It was quite funny to Darci, in all honestly. How she said made her sound as if she had never done it. All of a sudden, a question formed in her mind. Turning back to Alex, she tapped her fingers on the desk soundlessly. "Are there other tryouts during the week, or just today?" Darci knew that other high schools had tryouts that ran from 3 days at least, to a week at most. Then again, this was the Cheerio squad. Number one in the nation for God knows how many years. Even if she didn't go today, she could just go to the tryouts tomorrow--if there were any. She'd have to wait to talk to Tyler and her dads about it tonight. They would help her out.
