Chiru wandered, oblivious to the world around her, her head filled with thoughts and memories. She'd remembered being woken up by Daisy, being scolded for sleeping in, and would make it just in time for a game of hide and seek. Then she'd hide as far away as the mountains, and forget what she was doing and explore, and she would start making her way back home by sunset, get lost by nightfall, have a close encounter with a werewolf, get found by fireflies and make her way back to the lake, where every fairy would be looking for, and would tell her that she won. Daisy would be upset, but Kiaryi would want to play with her throughout the night. They'd talk about things like stars and life, and then Chiru would get tired and fall asleep. Then life would repeat.

But now life wasn't like that. Now, every day was different. Too different. Not one day was like the next. It was too fast for Chiru, and Chiru's mental capacity couldn't hold it all. Every second, Chiru felt her old self freeze up and crumble off her skin, and she found herself wondering who she was, or if her memories were those of the same fairy. But then she'd forget it all entirely after being yelled at for slacking off, just as she was now.

After placing a bucket filled with water on the ground, Chiru picked up a mop, and holding to her side like a shepherd holding a staff, she looked over the wooden deck of the Phoenix. Chiru didn't understand what was the importance of mopping every day. the deck looked clean to her. Perhaps the Phoenix was thirsty, or maybe it was so that any intruders that set foot on the deck would slip right off. Maybe she'd ask of it later, but for now, she had an important task to do. The fate of the ship's hygiene depended on her.

Dumping the mophead into the soapy bucket of water and then placing it on the deck, she began mopping the area. And by area, it was really 'an area', as Chiru was mopping the exact same spot back and forth the whole time, resoaking her mop occasionally, and not moving a step. She then looked up from her work and looked at the rest of the deck. Who would have known such a task would have been so difficult. A task fitting of the strongest, of course. She then continued mopping the exact same spot, as if the more she mopped it, the cleaner the whole deck would be.

She stopped to wipe the sweat off her forehead and sigh, when she dropped her mop, it falling away from her. She took a step foreword to reach for it, but stepped on the super-slick spot of which she was mopping the entire time, it being a thick and soapy puddle, suds decorating it like fungi. She then lost her balance and slipped backward, her head hitting and against the edge of the bucket, tipping it over and causing the soapy water to pour all over her face.

Chiru held back tears as the absolutely livid and angry water beat upon her eyes like an angry mob of horses in a rope-skipping club. Her clothing was completely soaked in the foamy and flowing liquid as if they were made of paper. Any attempt to stand on Chiru's part would cause her to fall back down, like a monster trying to gobble her up. She was also occupied with rubbing her eyes with her fingers of which were also soaked, only causing the poor fairy more pain.

After about five minutes, the fairy managed to get out of the soapy puddle standing, her eyes as red as Mars when somebody told it it's panties were showing. She looked at the mess she made. She needs to find a quick way to somehow make the water disappear before anybody noticed. It seemed almost hopeless. However, it was quite the miracle that Chiru happened to be a genius.

She froze the entire puddle of water, turning it into one thin sheet of ice. Then, she started stomping on it, breaking the shards of ice, destroying the water. She then kicked the tiny pieces of ice all over the place. Soaking wet, Chiru observed her work. Tiny pieces of what used to be water scattered all over the deck, now utterly destroyed. Chiru was definitely the smartest. She then headed off elsewhere, leaving the ice to melt under the hot sun.
