"Let's stay", she decided, which Julien nodded to show he was in agreement as staying was the better option and it did give Jasper time to make sure that when they return to the Emmessy's house that both their fathers would be there when he comes in strength and demanding the answers they so desperately sought. Back in the park Dahlia had told him of how she felt like a pawn on a chessboard, as they learnt more and more about the situation, it seemed more and more realistic that they were pawns but the question remained as to why. Afterall, he was the first born, heir and only child of the Beaumont's while she was the first born, heir and only child of the Emmessy's, such were not to mess around with because the family would be over if anything happened to either of them, and now all this.
It was then that he felt the wind brush past him as he felt the coldness on his skin again, as he glanced down with his eyes where he noticed Dahlia had now let go, before asking, "Where would they be keeping Drake?". Julien thought about it before answering, "Failing your capture, they would wish to use him as bait to lure you in, as clearly you were the intended target for tonight's unfortunate event, so they'd want to establish a perimeter in which to capture you, but they'd fail in that aspect with my guys in their two, but there is always the off-chance that Drake is not in there and that there is no sign of them anymore", such being the outcome his jealous side hoped for since such would pull her away from Drake, which seemed to have caused Dahlia to draw closer to him, but it seemed it was for another reason as a figure approached them.
Julien remained on guard until the figure was more clear, which by Dahlia's body language and with the guy waving at her, clearly identified the guy as being Drake, clearly unscarthed by today's events which meant that the guy had certainly let her down so he tried to keep the grin off his face when Dahlia gave him what he deserved as he merely turned his head to look away. What he did notice was that Dahlia had remained where she was and did not move towards Drake so clearly she was unimpressed if the slap wasn't enough evidence as she asked if his phone was on, a valid question and then the idiot nods. If he was going to stand her up, he could of least stood her up properly, not that he would though, but to admit his phone was on and that he had the ability to phone or text certainly raised suspicions that even if he felt giving him a punch, seeing as their family's arrangement had him responsible for her, so if he was messing around with her, he was messing around with him too.
He then heard his lousy excuse that he arrived but that she was "gone already" before looking for him, despite the park being full of the Letiya who would of caught him. His story was sounded lamer and lamer before he asked about him, in which Dahlia replied, "Ask him yourself", clearly still miffed. Having been noticed, Julien turned to him with a smirk on his face, being unable to hide it, but at the same time pretty pleased as his jealous side of himself was being appeased, "Name's Julien, a guy who does not mess around with his gals, nor lies through his teeth", saying such with malice, as he pulled out a cigarette and lighted it, before putting such in his mouth and using his other hand to put around Dahlia's waist to clearly annoy him, though he didn't want to mess with Dahlia's feelings either, so he then added on, "You've had your phone on but couldn't be bothered to text her or phone her when you saw she was gone. Certainly done a poor job looking for her. I believe its time for you to just spit out the truth or that slap will not compare to my fist for mucking her around", his eyes glaring at him, as he blew from his cigarette at the end.
