"Hello Robert. How may I help you?", he heard Ryan say as a smirk appeared on his face. "My son...", he answered simply as he outstretched his hand into the dining room so that they could be seated, giving Ryan only a few moments to show his guests in or otherwise he'd show himself in, for Robert was that sort of guy. Robert was a strict man and such had made the power behind the Beaumont strong and why the Letiya had them to fear, afterall, the Beaumont were meddling in their affairs, not that Robert would admit to such openly. In the end, he wished for a successful business and that his business had a future, that could only be achieved through hard work and brute force when necessary. Knowledge was power, but so was numbers and so was laying down the law.
Once Robert had taken his seat, he then looked round for the butler, but failing that, he would turn to Ryan, "Now for our beverages, these big boys behind me will take coffee, no sugar cos they don't have a sweet tooth. Tea for me, strong with two sugars because I do have a sweet tooth", the end of his sentence forming a smile, before moving onto business, well not quite but he was turning the conversation back on track, "Now while we wait Ryan, my son....what did you think of him? and how was he?...in your opinion of course, speak your mind", curious how Julien was before Jasper recieved a call to bring him here....
(Meanwhile)
What he did notice but did not comment on, was how Dahlia held his hand as they left the park which clearly shown he had earnt her trust, which was a big change from how distant they were in the park and how they kept several miles apart at college. He wasn't quite convinced or quite sure as to what she thought about him, but right now she had enough on her mind from what their parents had put her through and facing off with Drake. Julien couldn't really say much as he wasn't the right one to speak to about relationships when he hadn't even got a girlfriend, or rather hadn't got a girlfriend anymore. His luck hasn't been so good, though some of it was his fault since he's always concerned he'd mess up and how some only hung around him for the money he had. That was not love, yet it seemed to be what had brought him and Dahlia together through his fathers' arrangement.
Pulling up outside, Julien opened the door with one hand while his other held hers, before paying the driver and making his way out the taxi and looking up at the towers of apartments before looking to Dahlia and shrugged, "Like I said, not much, but it's somewhere at least", as he walked in, gave a wave over to reception who waved back before stepping into the lift. As quick as they got in, they were quick to get out also since it was only a few floors up, before he approached his door. "Keys...", he said to himself before clenching his teeth and began using his hands to feel here and there as if he was looking for them, "awk-ward", he said, his voice trailing, before smiling as he pulled out his key, which he showed her with a smile, before opening the door wide for her so she can enter first, "Voila..."
