"I tried...I didn't want them to hurt you. They put me to sleep or the wolfbane had worn me out. I promised I'll keep you safe and that's what I'm going to do."

Tristan said, somewhat putting her mind at ease. So long as she was with him, she knew she'd be okay. She was just afraid they'd take her away again.

She sobbed lightly.
"It's okay, I'm here...I'll fix it. I'll really try."

She just whimpered, wrapping her arms around him, tucking herself in his chest.

It didn't take long for Wolfe to come back in. Mackenzie caught his scent immediately, and she growled. "Ouy did siht ot em!"

Wolfe frowned."You're awake, thank god."He said relieved.

"Rail! Ouy syawla eil!"
(Liar! You always lie!)
Wolfe frowned and approached, Mackenzie felt him come closer and scratched him across the face.

Wolfe winced and stumbled back. "Yats yawa morf su, Retsnom!"
(Stay away from us, Monster!)
"Tristan, I don't know what she is saying but you must keep your Luna under control. I can't protect you both otherwise."

Mackenzie whimpered.

"Eh si a rail, Uoy t'nac tsurt mih!" She warned him.
(He is a liar. You can't trust him!)
"What language is she speaking?"

Mackenzie frowned. "Egaugnal?"
(Language?)

"Ouy ees, Eh seil!"
(You see, He lies!)
Mackenzie growled, ready to pounce at any moment. No she couldn't see but hrr other senses were working find. Her sense of smell and sound were on overdrive to compensate.

"Yats yawa..."(Stay away) She warned him dangerously.

Wolfe stood back but never left the room. Understand just how much worse female wolves were compared to their male counterparts especially when their territory is threathened. It seemed that Mackenzie was much more wolf then they first thought...perhaps that's why she didn't change...she's always a wolf.
