Charlotte slept soundly beside Derek, in the most comfortable position she could possibly be in. She was nestled against his chest, and his arm was draped over her, holding her to him. A soft noise caused her eyes to flutter open, but Derek's even breathing and steady heartbeat lulled her back into a half-asleep state. Nobody could make her feel quite as safe as he could. She laced her fingers with his, and felt no desire to move from their warm embrace. A slightly louder noise caused Lottie to wake up completely. She glanced at the door, blinking against the bright morning sun. She yawned and looked at her alarm clock. The alarm was off, and it was a half of an hour later than when she had intended to wake up. By this time, Marius would already be awake. That would be the noises she was hearing. She let go of Derek's hand, and quickly sat up. She rubbed her eyes, realizing their situation. "Derek!" She whispered urgently and softly rolled him onto his back to wake him up. "Marius is up. If he sees you, we're both dead. Although at least he won't maim me." She teased him, smiling lightly.
There was a soft rap at the door, and Lottie's gentle blue eyes widened. "I'm not decent!!" She called quickly. "Alright. I just wanted to make sure you were still alive, usually you're up before me." Marius answered, with a light laugh. Lottie relaxed slightly when she heard him walk away. She untangled herself from Derek reluctantly. She quickly got dressed, and peeked out the door forca second before quickly closing the door. "So..." she murmured, sitting down next to Derek and smiling at him softly. "How are we going to sneak you out without Marius catching you. Or Bear, for that matter."
