The bird resided on the hatters should listening to their conversation, she was at ease knowing that hatter had the entire situation under control the whole time and that she didn't need to worry even if there were two wolves present. She just stood looking cooly at the group before her actually becoming amused at how upset they were getting. She saw an open window on the building they were standing next to, that she assumed to be Mary's apartment, when she flew up to the window her theory was confirmed by the more than odd decorations which could only be one persons, Bloody Mary's. Scarlet fluttered over to a lamp and hung the necklace around the light's switch with her beak. After doing this she fly back out the window and swiftly glided back down to where Hatter was standing now facing away from the group and landed on his shoulder once more feeling satisfied, her job here was done and she could go home for the day.
