Roxie snuggled in, up against Chance comfortably. She rested her arms over his, her fingers lightly brushing over the back of his hands. Their breathing was in sync, and she loved the sensation of their shared warmth. His gentle purr started up again, and she grinned lightly.
She felt him lean forward, and his lips touched the bite on her neck. It was soothing, and when he got close like that she couldn't even feel it any pain at all. She settled in even closer to him, relaxing. A slight shudder escaped her as he ran his tongue over the wound.
Roxie let out a gentle sigh when Chance touched her ear lightly. She squirmed slightly and held onto his arms a little tighter as he softly bit down on her earlobe.
βSoβ¦β He muttered in her ear, releasing her. βWhat now? He asked softly, and she pursed her lips.
"I wish I could stay here forever." She whispered to him lightly, lacing her fingers with his. "But... I have to go back. I don't want to go, but I have no choice." She sighed, turning in his arms so she was face-to-face with him. She studied his fascinating green eyes for a moment, before kissing him tenderly. "We don't know how he'll react. Maybe he won't kill me." She gave him a halfhearted smile, resting her forehead on his.
We a great amount of effort, she slowly pulled away and stood up. She sighed reluctantly, and started to get dressed. She knew Elliot was probably already waiting with a sweatshirt of his to wear, in part of his effort to get Chance's scent off of her. Roxie's bright blue eyes fell back onto him, and she smiled at him fondly. "Come on. Walk me down."
She took his hand and tugged him out of bed, and waited while he dressed. Once he was ready, she took his hand and walked with him out of his room.
