He did hear, however, Rose tell belle to sit with him in the back of the vehicle while they take him to the hospital.he felt his body shrink back to human form, and realized that Rose has returned his pendant. "Thank you," he muttered through gritted teeth. He felt someone put him into the back of the car, and his head was in someone's lap. He heard belle speaking in worried tones, telling him to stay with them, that he'd be fine. He felt a sudden warmth, something he'd never felt before. There were some people who cared, and were worried for him. It gave him strength and he decided no matter what, he would not die.
