She looked at Liam and said, ''Don't worry. I've learned to not trust either one of them.....but that's for another time.'' She looked around for some other students she would recognize from other years, which she had.
She was then snapped out of her train of thought when she heard Liam get upset and then calm down when she saw a dog on the other side of the table with Liam and his brothers. She smiled and looked around, hoping no one would get upset. She then listened as Liam asked his brothers if their mum had managed to let their dog come to the school with them.
Jamie looked back at Liam and said, ''Don't worry. As long as you don't get cocky, you'll be fine at Quidditch. I thought I was gonna be awful or die while playing my first ever game. But I actually wasn't too bad.'' She remembered when she first tried out, she had gotten a broken arm on her first game, but that wasn't the wort thing that could happen to anyone while playing Quidditch.
Jamie then looked back at Liam and said, ''Plus, I'm the house's Seeker. So you'll be fine.''
'' So what's next exactly? Common room? Or is there something you have yet to tell me?'' Jamie heard Liam say as the feast was over and all the other students were getting up and going to their dorms for a night's rest. She cleared her throat as she loosened her red and gold tie that was around her neck. She looked back at the Porter boys and said, ''No, it's time to go to the Common Room and hang out for a bit if you want. I might go to bed early, but I'll think about it on the way there. Shall we get going?'' She said with a smile and started to walk with the other Gryffindors.
