Captain Fields used a stronger broadcast system now to inform the Board of Admirals, the Diplomatic Comitee, the rest of the fleet, and the Systems Council on everything. While technically in charge, at the very least she needed to contact Fleet Captain Ramora Bergi for this level of decision making. As a Fleet Captain, Ramora Bergi was authorized to make on point diplomatic decisions of this calliber, and Ellen Fields would only have authority if Fleet Captain Bergi was unreachable, as she had command of this patrol fleet.
Ramora quickly replied to her request. "Diplomatic Actions will proceed as planned. According to gathered intel, caution is advised, but hopefully will be irrelivent".
"Alright, when we have gathered our diplomats and escorts, and the data is confirmed with our Government, we will meet you there" she told them.
With that, they proceeded to scan the area for pirates, on the off chance others are lurking in the area.
