It was dark...The prodigious alleyways wouldn't suffice in keeping a small child alive for much longer. The last 24-hours wasn't a day he would consider accommodating. The child felt a sharp pain in his stomach, the revolting sustenance wasn't sitting well. His body begged for death, His legs were incapacitated, unable to move, accepting death with open arms. His jaw was bruised, After receiving damage from a middle aged man's leather boot, His arms refused to function, from continuous maiming from delinquents, looking to blow off some steam. The boy glanced up, A man in black's gaze met his. Has Death finally decided to end his misery? The man uttered"Are you just going to sit there and die?" The child's eyes' filled with anger, Death has finally decide to take him, but he decides to run his mouth first, The boy stood up, Clenched his fist, And punched the man in the shoulder."No.."was the only word that escaped his lips, before collapsing to the ground, His eyes narrowly open, As something sweep him off the earth, Release? However...It felt
Warm..
Kyofu's eyes peered open, The bottom of a black feathered object resting on his head, He sat up, The caw of a crow escaping the birds lips before soaring over to a post on his bed. Kyofu yawned as the obnoxious squawks of birds flew to his location, Two crows dropped of a platter, Before soaring off again.
Kyofu is quite proud of the system he invented, He would write a note, Informing the cooks downstairs on his breakfast choices, Ordered a few crows to deliver the note, And in a few minutes, Nourishment was dropped off from his window. Kyofu chuckled, pleased with his own brilliance. His coffee cup was half empty, And his omelet had a bite in it. As he was drinking his demitasse, 4 crows swooped in, Lining up on the window sill.
Kyofu was also quite proud of yet another action he has committed, Every night, He would order a murder of crows to carefully spy on various members of the household, One crow being placed on each member. The order was to watch until the specific person has left their room, The crows were tasked in reporting to Kyofu, about what has transpired. Although it is not the most privacy-respecting way of gaining information, Nor the safest, For his crows at least, Kyofu finding black feathered corpses laying around. The only reason for unceasing exercise of this action, Is, it is pretty damn fun, Kyofu, is having the time of his life, Watching the interesting and humorous morning routines of the household. Kyofu pressed his finger on the head of the 3rd crow in the lineup, Before laughing,"That eye patched wearing hard-ass did what now?! Cold Sweat?!". It was all worth it according to him. His laughter was stopped with a phone shaking, Uncontrollably. It took a while for Kyofu to regain his composure, But he did eventually. Kyofu reached for the phone, It was a antique piece, It was considered a piece of junk my Kyofu, But it did it's job...Poorly.
"Yeah, It's me, Kyofu said immediately. "Target, Someone decided to stray from the path, Go" And the phone call was hanged up. The church doesn't like wasting time, As they decided to speak in fragments, Expecting Kyofu to understand, which lucky for them, He did to some extent. After taking the last bite of his omelet, He flipped a coin and said "Heads, I sleep, Tails I read a book, And if It lands on the side, I'll go ahead and Go"
CHUNK!, An arrow stuck into his bedroom wall, Impaling the coin into the brick. A note hung off it and wrote, GO!. Kyofu sighed at this turn of events, He slothfully got up from bed, Threw on his signature black coat, and rushed out the door, The bang of it ricocheting off the walls of the facility.
