If Avi didn't know any better, she would of underestimated someone of Mac's hoodlum appearance. Many people seem to classify each other as either extremely smart or extremely strong. With some people being exceptions, having a little bit of each. Mac wasn't an exception. He wasn't necessarily in the norm either. From what Avi has seen from him, he is extremely smart and extremely strong as well. So when Mac was defensive about explaining his reasoning behind knowing so much about their target, Avi could only smile. "I didn't say anything," she replied, clearly stifling her laughter.
Avi always liked the reaper. He seems like a god who always keeps his people's well-being as a priority. His goofy appearance aside, Avi respected the reaper. His son finally appeared in the classroom, Goro seemed to be what she would expect. An aura of entitlement and arrogance gleamed off of him like heat rays on a sidewalk. The only thing about the duo that caught her eye was Goro's partner. He was a complete contrast from Goro when it came to clothing. An over-sized T-shirt, a dis-functional sock that seemed to be an explosion of broken thread and stitches all over his limbs. Though interested in the young boy, she was disgusted just as much. She was more interested in well-groomed men such as Goro or maybe a man who stood out, but not in a derogatory fashion. "I'm a hopeless romantic. Avi thought, blushing and covering her face from the thought alone.
Avi was attentive as Stein introduced the new Death scythe. A man with a stern stare, Stein went on to explain his harsh disciplinary methods, but teachers were never a problem for Avi. She was a top student in the academy. Every teacher seemed to like her, strict or subtle.
Right when Avi got the idea to introduce herself to Goro as an attempt to make him feel welcome. Mac stood up and taunted the young reaper. A sigh escaped Avi's lips. Mac was intelligent, but more often than not, allows his emotions to get the better of him. It was normal and there really wasn't any way to deal with it other than going with it. It seemed with Mac's declaration of war, everyone's attention was directed towards them. "My apologies", Avi interjected, directing it towards Goro and his partner. With a slight bow of her head, she transformed into weapon form, appearing impaled into the desk centimeters away from her partner.
