Oberon took everything he heard with zeal, he loved it when Tacitus, Elena and him actually agreed on something and it was somewhat refreshing on some points. A part of him however, felt absolutely giddy when Elena told him his support was always appreciated.
But business had to be done. The plan would be relayed to the new battalion and then they'd march for the first battle this rebellion ever had and hopefully would be a great success.
It was then however, he heard Elena's request to spar with her as he smiled a small soft smile."Of Course, I would never deny you a spar." he replied as the smile turned into a confident smirk. He then turned towards his tent to go fetch his blade. As he went he swore he saw a certain black and white canine mascot of the Resistance waddle past him. Oberon frowned as he fought the urge to give chase to the mutt if it actually took one of his spare boots.
He couldn't worry about Xerxes' mischief now. He had a sparring session to go to. Then, a new beginning would occur. But until then, he hoped Elena brought her best of her abilities to the session.

Dawn came like a bell toll for Oberon. By then they were on the march, and he was well prepared to fight the enemy. He had to wait for the opportune moment as the Caravan came. He hoped to capture it, and secure the planned chokehold for quite awhile.
"I must wait for the moment when Elena gives the signal though." he muttered to himself as he looked towards where his best friend was at, hoping and praying she doesn't get a single hair harmed on her head. If it was, he'd never forgive himself. Astral Planes curse him if it did.
