She had definitely been looking for something stronger than a Corona, and whatever concoction is was, it looked like it was laced with alcohol, and that was exactly what she was after. However, when Ace appeared, she sighed and took her drink. Ace was far from the worst person in the school, but she didn't plan on sticking around. "I'll see you later, Maya. Thanks for the alcohol!" She called lightly, taking a sip from her drink and grinning. It was as strong as she had both expected and hoped.
She scanned the crowd, looking for someone familiar to talk to. She spotted Blake, and something inside her twisted. She was attracted to all of the sons and daughters of Aphrodite, even that asshole Sebastian. But there was something different about Blake. She was the one person who made Amelie feel like she did. "I think I need to be your chaperone. Keep an eye on you," she added. "You wouldn't mind that, would you?" She asked teasingly.
