As Akira stood inside the café, ordering a large amount of food, he started to scan the area for a table. However, before he had a chance to get to any such open table, he was suddenly tapped on the shoulder by someone and approached from behind. He had not even noticed her walking up, but it seemed she was a normal person. At least, Akira did not sense anything from her at the moment, but he failed to consider the possibility that one could not even sense another person inside the café as well with those protection runes. He sure did find a strange place to eat, if he thought about it.

The woman then pleaded with him, and told him a rather sad story. The innocent, naïve part of Akira wanted to help her but...deep down, he just had this feeling that she was completely lying to him. He did not quite understand it, but it was as if his intuition was saying "don't trust her" and "she is conning you" and "dangerous lying person".

But because of the confusion regarding his memories and such, he was still not sure on what to do in that situation.

And so as he fought off the impulse to trick her a bit, he decided to be nice and believe her for now.

"And I guess...a muffin as well".

Well, he did not have much spare money himself either. At least not on him.
