Erika and Khryia dutifully gathered everything they needed for the brew, peppermint and lavender. Khryia was more useful than her at this, using her dragon's snout to find the materials, almost an armful of peppermint and a stalk of lavender. "Will this be enough?" Erika turned around to face Khryia, the dragon shrugged. "Clover never gave an amount, but I sure hope so! I want everyone to be happy!" She bounded forward, tail slapping the ground with each step, clearly in a bit of a rush. "How did it go with Cookie?" Erika asked her as she tried to dash to keep up with her dragon familiar. "It was okay." The dragon said with a half smile. "I told him that all us familiars love Clover! There's something about her that's almost irresistible. Fiyero the Stupid feels it too, but I hate him and he sucks."
It wasn't the fact that she was an anima, since Maple was too and she didn't have the same sort of effect on the familiars. What could it be? Well, Erika knew that better than anyone. It was the uncontrollable cuteness embodiment that Clover was, just begging to be pet and protected and spoiled all her life. The shadow mage and the dragon returned to the farm, the water was already there and they watched Clover finish the brew to cup for Mallier to drink. Once her stomach settled she sat down again, Khryia holding Clover. They toured the place and Erika got a good view of it all. The room Clover wanted she probably wouldn't be able to get to. "What if I do this?" Erika summoned a tentacle and then she planted it on the ground, another one too. This way there would be something to transport people up and down the stairs.
"When can we move here?" Erika asked Mallier, who shrugged. "Your discharge is soon, isn't it? A few days after that to give you time to pack your things and say your farewells, and then I can arrange a drive." It wouldn't be long now, within the week they'd be here, wouldn't they? "We'll have to get lots of toys and fun things to do here." Erika told Clover, already thinking of kitty scratching posts and a ball and other little things she could play with to exercise and get strength back into her body. Erika's hearing was improving each day, and she hoped Clover was improving a bit too.
