"Give me a minute, I'm coming with you too," she said as Cinder declared her and Audrey would be leaving to check they hadn't been followed. Her outfit change was simple, a matter of swapping her jacket for a black hoodie and grabbing a black scarf from her bag to tie around her face if necessary. Her knife stayed in her hands as they headed for the elevator.
"If they do have us surrounded," Sienna said as she leaned against the back wall of the elevator, "make sure someone takes notice that they have us outnumbered and cornered, and yet still attacked. We're gonna do our best to get that sympathy," she said with a grin. She wasn't sure if she believed they were walking into an ambush or not. There was something... sincere about the heroes. They were scared. She'd seen it in their faces, and some of them seemed to be legitimately injured. But given her present company, she wasn't going to disclose that. Audrey and Rylee's suspicion was understandable. The heroes weren't always the most honourable people, after all.

Felix's voice snapped Spence back to reality, and he forced himself to stretch out his hands. And again. And again. None of them felt right and he couldn't stop. Corinne spoke, begged them for help again. "They seemed to have some sort of immunity. Some of them. I could tear- I took down some of them, some of the lower ranking ones, but some of them were much harder to do that with. One of them-" Spence had to stop and swallow as he saw the man's face, his sickening smile as he shot one of them right in front of Spence- "He seemed to be immune to all of us. We couldn't touch him unless it was with our bare hands and-" he had to stop, forcing down the memories. He'd stopped stretching his hands but he could feel the compulsion coming back, to do something, to make it right.
"Don't worry about me, I'll be fine once I have a nap," he said, mostly to Corinne more than the villains. At least, his body would be. To prove his point, he got to his feet, and did his best to hide the fact the world tilted slightly as he did so.
