San did not understand, where was Nieve going? Why was she leaving? San attempted to leave the wheelbarrow, but Tymol pushed down on her head, forcing her to stay down. "Come on San, remember what Nieve said? You have to be a good girl." San nodded, settling back down. "San is good girl!" She insisted, squirming. "We're going to meet Nieve and Phiphi soon, okay?" San nodded once more, going quiet to hide as Tymol placed a finger against his lips. A group of palace guards ran past them, waving swords at the dragons in the air. San growled, dragons were mean. Dragons had kept her inside of her tower all of those years. "It's okay," Tymol said softly, moving the wheelbarrow once more. He had to get San out of here before she tried to chase after a dragon.
They rounded the corner, Tymol opening up the door. San jumped out, running right towards the window so that she could look outside. "Welcome to your new home for now," Tymol gestured with an arm. San looked around, walking on all four's in a slow circle around the space. She settled on the couch, deciding that this would do. "No! No digging! Bad, no claws!" San whimpered, jumping off of the couch and darting underneath the table. "Do you want to draw?" Tymol inquired, trying to smile. San nodded, wondering what she could do to help. "Why don't we make the others a snack so that when they get back, they'll have something good to eat?" San nodded, her tail wriggling happily. "San good! San help!" Tymol pat her head, "Yes, San is very good, now let's cut up some bread."
They went into the kitchen to prepare sandwiches. San grasped her's with her mouth, running over to the window to look outside to eat. "San, down!" San got down, a group of guards running past. "We just have to lay low for a bit, okay?" San finished her sandwich and licked her fingers, jumping back onto the couch and curling up on a pillow. "Nap time?" He asked as San yawned, tired from today's adventures. Outside was hot, it was not like her Glass Tower, whose temperature was always the same. "Silly San, all tuckered out from exploring." San yawned once more, smiling to herself, her tail swishing to and fro. "I wonder what you're thinking right now," Tymol mused aloud as San fell asleep. He yelped, her body suddenly changing. None of them had seen the girl asleep, except for the enchanted half sleep that Nieve had put her in.
This was different though, resting peacefully, of her own volition, San was no longer a monster, but a little girl. She had no horns, tail, or claws. That silly fanged grin no longer bore sharp teeth. Instead, San looked almost human, save for the pair of fairy wings that had sprouted from her back. "Wow," Tymol admired, wondering however he was going to explain to Nieve and Phiphi that San was no longer a hideous, but adorable little creature, but a stunning little fairy girl.
