Elina jumped at the sound of the boy’s voice. I really need to learn his name, she thought dryly as she made her unwilling legs stand up. The morbid grin on the head’s face kept flashing in front of Elina’s eyes, the floor slightly tilting and she couldn’t help but feel like puking right then and there. Jiji brushed against her, urging her to the door. “Y-yeah, I’m fine,” she replied hoarsely, leaning against the handle and opening it at the same time.

The world tilted again and Elina’s stomach cramped as she stumbled through the door, placing one hand on the wall for support. No ballet or school for me today, I guess.

“On second thought, maybe I should go to the nurse,” she said softly, a smirk pulling at her mouth as she wiped her forehead absently, panicking at the sheen of sweat that coated her hand. Elina definitely didn’t remember sweating like a pig before. Now iIt felt as if the air was trying to suffocate her, and suddenly all Elina could see was snakes, blood, darkness. She’d never fainted before, but she certainly did not plan on doing it again.
