Anthony stood over the weeping man, both elevated on a stage he had personally commissioned. Anthony had wanted a place where he could be certain that he had everyone's attention, and a stage was the best place that he could think of. The man before Anthony was an illegal who, after managing to land a job at the bio-dome, had smuggled more oxygen then he was regulated to receive. Behind the two of them were Anthony's personal guards, in their full TALOS suits.
Anthony stepped back, his right hand out behind him with an open hand. The bodyguard to his right walked two steps forward, drawing his pistol before handing it to his general. Anthony then checked the pistol, carefully ensuring the safety was off and that a round was in the chamber. Pulling the slide back, ensuring that it gave a loud click, Anthony walked forward.
"Jose Hernandez, you have stolen from the bio-dome as well as having come to this country illegally. Your crimes are inexcusable and vile, punishable only by death." Shouted Anthony, his voice loud enough for the crowd of all the workers and soldiers at the bio-dome to hear him, as well as Jose's whimpering. With a heartless gaze, Anthony picked up Jose by the neck with his left hand, staring into Jose's face, saying only "Burn in hell."
BANG! Jose fell lifelessly to the ground. Anthony looked down only long enough for his guard to retrieve his pistol from Anthony's hand. The guards and their general walked off the stage, heading back to Anthony's office.

Nina went out for a walk. She was finding herself getting bored very easily just sitting in the house so much. She went to the vintage clothing shop a few streets over. Nina liked browsing here. It gave her something to do and she found interesting clothes which you wouldn't get in your normal clothes shops. She pawed through a couple of racks before coming across something that caught her eye. It was a sapphire coloured jersey with a large number '6' on the back. Nina brought it up to the counter.
"How much for this?" Nina asked.
The man behind the counter was fat and losing his hair. He had a beard and thick glasses. "Do you even know what you are holding?" The cashier asked patronizingly.
"A shirt?" Nina answered.
"That is a replica of a Yugoslavia National Soccer Team jersey from the 1958 World Cup, modelled on the one worn by Branko Zebec."
"Neat. How much for it?"
"The current asking price is $50." The man sighed. "Though I am reluctant to sell it to someone so oblivious to the history of the design."
Nina looked around. The shop was quite run down looking. She was the only customer there at the moment. Business clearly wasn't great. "Maybe if you were a little nicer to customers you might get more business."
"Is it a crime to expect a high standard of shopper when I sell rare and interesting items?"
"Well... no, but you don't have to be an ass to everyone who isn't an expert on what they're buying. You said $50 right?"
With her new shirt purchased, Nina went to get herself some provisions for the party. She went into the off-license and went up to the counter.
"A litre of vodka, please."
"Any particular kind?" The clerk asked.
"Whatever's cheapest. It all tastes pretty much the same when I mix it with Pepsi anyhow."
The clerk laughed and reached down a large bottle. "You aren't gonna drink this all on your own, are you?"
"Not all in one night." Nina said. "This should get me through a few evenings. That reminds me, can I buy some green." She added lowering her voice to a whisper.
The clerk nodded in the direction of a door and they went through to a smaller room.
"Just the usual." Nina said.
"You got money?" The clerk asked.
"Yup."
"Damn. I always hope you won't." He said putting his arms around her.
"Get used to it. I don't plan on paying in other ways."
"Can't blame a man for trying." The clerk said. "Anyway, enjoy your evening." He said sending her back out the door with a playful slap on the behind.
Nina tried to scowl but she smiled a little because she found it funny.

Brianna woke up in the normal routine like any other day, she would wake up, get her work clothes on, go to the factory, run home, and check on her brother, Brianna stared at the ceiling she wanted more in her life then just feeling like a slave, she needed to have another rush, the rush that makes the blood flow through your arms and legs as you do the most out of the ordinary, she snapped back to reality after Jack began to lick her face, she smiled and didn't move she decided not to go to work that day and just think to herself.
Hours flew by and Brianna had been sleeping while her brother was just playing with Jack, she woke up with a yawn and got out of bed falling to the ground she groaned and looked under her bed on a accident she saw a journal and tilted her head she reached for it and pulled it from under, she looked at the cover stroking her hand along it, it was like a adventurers diary. She opened it as she looked all the pages were filled with knowledge on how to make a oxygen farm is it had Warning Illegal on it she closed her door and blinds and sat on her bed and read through it learning much from the book she smiled.
