He slumped in his chair, and ordered "Whatever drink you have with peppermint in it". That's all he liked to drink, peppermint. He had a healthy stash of peppermint tea in his dorm room, along with a few other kinds. He was a tea kind of guy. He amused himself by plucking a feather he grew from his arm out, and making it dance in the wind. He made the handsome black feather twirl, loop, spin, firgure-8, and pirouette above their table. His thoughts drifted to the pink-haired angel on the rooftop. He wasn't joking earlier, she really was cute. And she was into birds! That was always a plus when it came to Rinnku.

Rinnku grinned at the angel as she asked him what he was doing, with a raised eybrow. She looked so cute, damn this was going to be fun. He pulled his hand back and was about to toss the whirlwind at her, when Ishida grabbed Rinnku by his shirt and pulled him uncerimoniously towards the diner. The wind dropped from his hand and scattered among the people on the streets.

Shinku then turned around and walked outside of the diner and towards the guitar shop to get her guitar back.

Rinnku launched towards the door, his feet slightly off the ground as he burst out onto the street, following the silver-haird angel, sending stacks of papers, fruit stands, and a few people into the air from the winds billowing behind him. The patrons at the diner stared at him as he streamed out of sight, leaving the doors parted and hanging on their hinges.

He came to a complete stop. The wind that was building behind him shot foward ahead of him, blowing across every blade of grass for a mile. He'd stopped on a dime, folding his wings in and tucking his arms across his chest; but it didn't help much. A sickening crack sounded through the air as Rinnku's form shimmered from the fragmenting of several bones. He fell to the ground, knealing on both of his knees as he held his arms to his chest, putting off the moment of pain when he would finally have to move them. He felt pain in his torso that surely meant a broken rib, and one of his wings was bent at an angle.
"Could be worse," he grunted as the dove landed on his less-injured shoulder. "Last time I did a dead stop, I blacked out instantly." He grinned at the bird, cooing at it kindly, all traces of his earlier rage completely gone.

He looked ahead, and saw the gray-haired one ahead of them. Some of his earlier anger came back, and he grunted a few choice swear words in her direction as the cut on his hand burned painfully, the stinging pain clear agaisnt the aches of his broken bones.

As they walked, in adition to the cold that soothed his body, a warmth started to flame up in Rinnku's chest from the close proximity they were in, and from her head resting on his shoulder. He was trying to hold back the goofy grin on his face, but he knew he wasn't doing that great of a job at it. Call me easy to please, I guess, he thought. But in my injured and emotionally-tender state, this is very satisfying. He looked up at Eira again, and actually made himself laugh by playing with the bird. He'd ruffle his hair with some wind, annoying the poor bird, so she'd fly off his head and land on Rin's. Then he'd do the same to her head, and Eira kept hopping back and forth between them, unable to find a perch to rest on for more than a few moments.

Rinnku looked up at the sky. It was getting later; not quite late yet, but definitely later in the day. He found his favorite bench, over in the corner, with a few potted plants around it. He moved them towards the bench, and when he got there, he leaned off of her and sat himself down in the bench. He sighed with relief for a moment, glad to be off his feet, and then looked up at the girl. "Umm, may I offer you a seat?" He teased, offering the rest of the bench to her with as much vigor as one would if the bench was a throne.
