Description

ImageImage
Full Name: Sakio Nora

Age: 18

Human or Vampire: Human

Sexuality: Bisexual

Image
Blunt|Cynical|Loyal|Protective|Hard-headed
Rude, to sum it up in one word. If you're looking for a comforting friend, you're not going to find it with her. Loyal, and willing to fight to the death to protect someone, yes. But kind? Not really. She's one of those cold on the outside but all warm a mushy on the inside people, giving people a cold glare but helping them when she can. When she helps out or lends a hand, she acts so snotty about it that you feel like she wasn't wanting to help at all. But in most cases, she really does care. Just not enough to show it.
Likes: Music, daylight, running, martial arts

Dislikes: Animals, stupidity, opening up, being asked, "Are you okay?"

Strengths:
-Fighting
-Piano
-"Book smart"

Weaknesses:
-Blunt
-Stubborn
-Unempathetic

Character Summary: Easily bothered and short tempered, Sakio isn't exactly an easy person to be around. Despite that, she has a sort of charm about her that makes it so she hasn't been completely shunned. Plus, he tendency to be really helpful has people keeping her around despite the attitude. She doesn't have many hobbies, but she loves to fight, whether its controlled or picking fights with some random kid. She always has to hold back though, and can't wait for a fight that she actually has to push herself to win.[/center]

Tak
Tak was glaring at everything. Everything. Well, except the sun- he was making a point of not looking at it. though, he'd probably glare at that too if he wouldn't get a huge migraine from doing so. He wasn't really all that tired, so it wasn't like this was cutting into his sleep yet, but it was more the fact that it was his job to do it that upset him. He did it from the headmaster's request, but he wasn't pleased about his "position". Damned humans. Blood was what they were good for, everything else was just troublesome. But he wouldn't go back on his word to keep the "peace"- even if he really wanted to now and then.

At the thought, Tak smirked and made his way to the office of the academy where he was supposed to greet and escort Night students to their dorms, after they signed in. He had a feeling he wasn't really escorting anything, just making sure no one got the bright idea to go and bite a human. Sighing, he went inside and saw two others from the disciplinary committee, the Day Patrol to be specific. Tak made an annoyed sound but otherwise didn't say anything to them, sticking his hands in his pockets and findind a nice corner to stand in.

Sakio
Staring up at her ceiling quietly, Sakio listened to the ticking of her clock. She didn't have an alarm, she didn't need it. It was rare for a day to pass where she didn't wake with the sun. Her internal clock was just very reliable when it came to her sleep schedule- she had to admit it was nice. Sometimes. Right now she was a little bitter about it, since she was going to a new school. Growling, she stood up and took a shower before throwing on the uniform she'd been given. The uniform itself wasn't too bad really, but the concept of uniforms irked her.

"It's exciting," she told herself, though her town was bitter, "going to a new school. Meeting new people. Wonderful." Now dressed, Sakio tied back her hair and started the walk to the main office to pick up her schedule.

Tak couldn't help but grin, watching Blair fuss about. Nothing was going to happen. Like, really. Vampires would be going to sleep soon anyways, they would only have to act as babysitters for a little bit longer and then they could hand off the job to the day patrol. But still, she seemed to be taking her job very seriously.

Off to the side, Angel was waving. Tak raised his hand in greeting, but didn't waste the energy to actual wave. He was about to look away from them, but he could see a vampire- Kanra, was it?- was over and start talking to the day patrol. He wasn't doing anything wrong really, but his expression suggested he was planning on it. From Drake's earlier ranting, Tak had a feeling he wouldn't need to intervene. But still, he kept an eye on the white haired boy. If there was any blood spilled, the headmaster would have their heads. The disipilary committees, that is.

"Hey, Blair. Relax would ya?" he finally spoke up, hearing the girl mutter to herself. "Seriously, you're making me tense just watching you." After the sentence left his mouth he saw some more students come in, vampires, and half-heartedly helped direct them to their dorms.

Image
The main office wasn't that impressive. Besides a few students coming and going, there wasn't really anyone around. Part of her wanted to say that she must be early, but she couldn't have walked that fast. Eyeing the room, she cautiously stepped in. Something about the place didn't feel quite right. She couldn't quite pinpoint why though, and dismissed the thought entirely. Instead, she walked over to some of the people who seemed to be in charge. Two of them kinda were making her nervous, while the other two made her feel uneasy for completely different reasons.

After grabbing her schedule, Sakio practically booked it. She didn't like the disciplinary committee. It was official. To her dismay, she had classes right off the bat and was supposed to head there after getting her schedule. She could feel a scowl working its way onto her face and was working hard to not look so pissy on her first day. It wouldn't do well to make friends if all she did was glare at people like she wanted to beat them up. Sighing loudly, Sakio looked around the path that led to the main school building. There weren't as many people as she'd imagined.

Sera's Pov
Sera smiled down at her sister as she took hold of her hand, trying to hide herself from other view. "Don't worry no one will hurt you" She told her with a smile trying to reassure her sister. 'Not on my watch anyway She thought bitterly.

After a short walk towards the academy they finally arrived at the entrance, there seemed to be a lot of students there waiting to receive their schedules and room assignments. Fortunately the Night class students shared the same schedule so they basically knew what classes they were taking it was only the dorm rooms that needed assigning, not like she would share a room with anyone. She would go mental if she were to share a room. And none would argue with her.

Sera's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of hysterical laughter and it sounded like it was coming from Akira, she couldn't help but tilt her head in annoyance at the lack of control he had. "Compose yourself" She told him with irritation. Sera looked back towards her sister to notice her starring intently at a boy with fiery red hair.
Causing her to smirk. Scanning her eyes across the entrance, noticing there weren't as many night class students as she expected, but it seemed the Disciplinary committee had everything under control though.

Drake's Pov
Drake caught the skittles with a smile on his face, immediately opening the packet and tucking in. "This is why you're my best friend" He continued smiling. Anyone that knew Drake knew he was a massive fan of food especially sweets, mainly skittles to be exact, probably being a massive weakness of his.

"You know I rather not attend class" He spoke with a sigh, just the thought of going to class after being up at the crack of dawn did not interest him in the slightest. "If I fall asleep, you cover me got it?" He told Angel with a serious voice.

The sound of Blair's voice directing the students mainly the Night student irritated him, he didn't particularly care for the Night class students, nor did he agree with them attending the Academy. But no matter how many times he's discussed it with the headmaster, it was never listened to, so he had no choice but to do his job. Unfortunately.

He was about to make his way towards class, but three people caught his attention. Three vampires to be specific. Two female's and one male. The two girls looked quite similar both with long silver hair and red eyes, one looked slightly older than other but they were most likely siblings. The male had blonde hair and red eyes. But he knew who they were without them even introducing themselves.

Looking towards the other committee members he couldn't help but be annoyed. "The Tenshi is here" He grumbled.

“Right… You’re right,” was Blair's quiet reply, and Tak had the nerve to actually gawk at her. Even when she did agree with someone, she didn't openly admit it. But the moment was cut short when there was sudden laughter and some kid rolling around on the floor. Tak barely glanced at him, but Blair seemed pissed to say the least. Poor guy was getting scolded by not just Blair, but whoever he came with too. He recognized them as the purebloods, but he didn't really have any interest in the situation. Let them cause a scene, it's not like that put anyone in danger. They were here to protect, not babysit. Or at least, that's what he kept telling himself.

His thoughts were cut short when Blair shoved her elbow in his side. Tak glared, but all she did was nod at one of the pureblood girls. She was kind of hiding behind Sera, but it was still obvious that she was staring at him. Glancing between the younger girl and Akira, Tak decided that he'd found the reason for the boys laughter. Still, Tak didn't know what Blair thought he was going to do about it. So he just waved at the shorter girl, or more just raised his hand as if to wave before dropping his arm back to his side and shoving his hands in his pockets.

"Hey," he said shortly, attempting at a friendly smile (and failing) before shifting his gaze to Blair. "Get them their schedules and stuff, yeah?"
Image
Sakio had taken a seat, not sure if she was early or not, but tired of wandering around. She pulled out a notebook and began to doodle random stuff while tapping her foot- a habit she had when she was sitting still. She wondered if they played sports around here, but couldn't recall seeing anything like a gym or field around. If she didn't have some way to get her aggression out, she was sure as hell going to start taking it out on other students. Not violently of course, she just wouldn't exactly be... friendly.

With a sigh, Sakio glanced around anyone else in the room. There weren't many people, she didn't even see anyone who looked like a teacher. Maybe she could go back to her dorm and nap a bit. Maybe skip first hour. "No... that's a horrible way to start a new school year," she mumbled to herself, leaning back in her chair. Toward the back of the room she noticed someone in the night class uniform. Was he confused?

"Hey, you!" she yelled, not at all subtle. "Are you in the right place?"

Catherine Tinatin
Catherine, making herself comfortable in the seat she'd claimed for herself in the back, spoke up with a bit of amusement in her tone, "He obviously does. He doesn't have the look of one lost or the gaze of one in a trance. Doesn't look too stupid either... from whatever I can tell anyway." She tilted her head slightly and placed her hands behind her head in a relaxed posture, "Night Class boy that likes to make trouble?" Though she may have seemed comfortable, she wasn't. She was getting uneasy, never before had the tugging in her gut occured so often in one day, and it happened as she set her gaze on this boy... as it had happened each time she saw someone in a white uniform. Now, Catherine looked away and focused her gaze on the front of the room, determined to not let him see how uneasy she was.

Perhaps this whole day was just making her queasy. For the sake of everything good in the universe, she hoped that was it. She didn't need arsony to be considered a hobby of hers any time soon. After a bit of silence she realised she'd lapsed into, she spoke, putting a well-practiced smile onto her own lips, "Funny. I'm a Day Class girl that tends to attract trouble. Not always fun when it tracks you down, I think. Then again, my optimism may have been worn down."

Killian Thomas
Killian was startled out of his daze by the sudden, loud vocalizing of words he thought would be just fine spoken in a normal-volumed tone. This microscopic moment of sour thought brought on by shock passed as he processed what was happening. A sweet, tired smile crossed his lips and he looked around. He blinked at the people around the back of the class, wondering what exactly what was going on but went back to tracing patterns on the desk-top before him. His smile began to fade as he sank back into his thought-land. He wasn't included in this conversation, there was no need for him to focus or pay any attention.

Sakio decided she did not like the white haired boy. He hadn't really done anything to her to deserve the dislike, but something about the way he talked just... didn't sit right with her. She wasn't sure how much she liked the Day Class student either, but at least she seemed normal. He turned to her, and introduced himself as Kanra, going as far to bow to her. She raised an eyebrow at the overly formal action but didn't say anything back. After all, he hadn't done anything to make her want to give her name.

"Perhaps I'm in the wrong place after all, would you like to escort me to the right place?"

Sakio scowled at him, but slowly stood, not breaking eye contact with him. She didn't like his smirk, and something about the way he asked made it sound more like a challenge than anything else. "Okay, I'll escort you back. After all, what kind of person would I be if I just left the poor clueless student on his own?" Though she had just offered to help him back, she was still scowling at him, only breaking eye contact to walk toward the door to the hallway. In all honesty, she just felt him being here as wrong. She paused for a moment to glance at him. "You comin', Night Class?"

Catherine Tinatin
Catherine couldn't keep her eyes from narrowing at the white-haired boy's antics, nor could she keep herself from uttering one word devoid of emotion, "Funny." The flirting wasn't what set alarms off in her head, it was the boy himself. Kanra, as he'd said, was now on her 'Watch Carefully' list. It was something she'd just decided to do for her new life in this school. His eyes, she noticed, could have been hypnotizing to any other girl, except for her... she'd seen eyes like that before, and she'd rather not recall what happened then. Now, Catherine's relaxed pose had become something less casual and more defensive. Her arms folded and her now-wary gaze set on the back of Kanra's head. The one thing she could keep herself from doing was growling at him... seriously growling, a deep rumble that would have rolled from her lips with ease.

"I suppose I'll be seeing you around then, Trouble. Don't piss too many people off..." Catherine almost added a 'without me' to the end, but quickly realized that could be seen as flirting with him. And she didn't know if she'd want that.

Kanra directed his gaze back in front of him, returning his attention to the now very tense young lady sitting in her desk. "Oh, I'm sure you will be seeing me, lovely." he grinned, once again making very direct eye contact. "You attract trouble remember?" and with those words he began slowly walking to the door, stopping closely behind the raven haired girl.

He leaned past her to grab the door knob and open it, then held out his hand. "After you miss." he said politely. All the while several fun scenarios were playing out in his head.
He had a human girl, walking him back to his room, where he could invite her in, offer her a drink... and maybe she could offer him a drink as well. He snickered quietly to himself, his inner thoughts amusing him.
Then another fun scenario popped into his twisted mind. He imagined being caught by one of the disciplinary committee members and being 'punished' or even, being caught by a pureblood. He couldn't keep the smug grin off his face, the thoughts were far too pleasing to him.
A human punishing him was more of a hilarious thought, one he'd play along with though if it came to that. A pureblood punishing him however, now that would be painful.. which would make it all the more exciting.

Drake
Drake couldn't help but sigh in annoyance. He wanted to take a nap instead of attending a class but so did Angel. So It looked like they both had to attend class. Maybe no one will notice if they snuck out... Drake was so busy thinking to himself he hadn't even realized that Angel was dragging him to the classroom. It wasn't until he actually made it into the class did he realize where he was.
"I really need to stop spacing out" He mumbled as he took a seat at a desk beside Angel.
"Oh! Don't forget the headmaster wants us to pop by his office later to discuss some things.." He said as he turned the pages in his text book.

Sera
Was rather bored, standing at the entrance of the Academy. One of the students had all ready handed her schedule so there was no need for her to wait around with the other Nigh class students anymore. And since she was all ready up, she didn't feel like going back to bed. Since she had some stuff do anyway. But she needed to head back to the Night class dorms before she went to the headmasters office.

"I've got a few errands to run. Akira, look after Ame whilst i'm gone." She spoke with her usual monotone voice. Without waiting for a reply she left, making her way to her respected dorms. On the way over she spotted a familiar white haired male vampire as well as a darker hair human who she didn't exactly recognize. Speeding up slightly as she made her way over towards them, appearing infront of the pair rather quickly. "Kanra, shouldn't you be in your dorm by now?" She questioned him specifically. Sera knew Kanra rather well, as well as knowing what the fellow vampire was like so she couldn't help but be suspicious about him.
Diverting her gaze towards the dark haired human, her red eyes appearing stern and emotionless. "Shouldn't you be in class? Day class student?" She questioned the girl.

Sakio walked out the door being held open for her, not buying the "gentleman" act for a second. The only time she was polite was when she wanted something. But she couldn't imagine what he would want, so she chose to ignore that fact and simply continued walking him to his dorms. She was planning to take him to the gate, but not go inside. Not really because it was against the rules, but because the one time she got even close to the entrance of their dorms she felt... odd. Like she had a sudden impulse to run the other way. Which was very out of character for her, so she'd been weary of the place since.

"I don't like that smile. Why do you keep smiling like that?" she finally asked, breaking the silence. He hadn't been speaking but had looked like he was in deep thought, and then suddenly started smiling. Sakio couldn't really place the smile, but she didn't exactly find it comforting. After a moment she realized he kind of looked cute smiling like that. If it weren't for the fact he was kind of creeping her out.

While waiting for an answer some girl literally cut them off. Like, she practically jumped in front of them. She had this kind of stuck up air about her that immediately pissed Sakio off, but she had to admit there was something about her that demanded authority. Didn't mean Sakio was going to buy into it, but it was there.

"Kanra, shouldn't you be in your dorm by now?" Sakio was going to speak up about how the idiot was in her class room, but the girl wasn't even paying attention to her. So she just folded her arms and raised an eyebrow. This lady wasn't from the disciplinary committee, what the hell did she want?
When she finally looked at Sakio, something in her changed. "Shouldn't you be in class? Day class student?" And Sakio laughed. Actually, outright laughed. She couldn't help it, was this person for real?

"Yes, and I would be, Night Class student, if it weren't for the fact Kanra here decided to pop into my class to hang out. I thought he was lost so I was helping him to his dorm."

Kanra stepped in front of Sakio protectively out of instinct. From what he had witnessed so far, she had a bit of a mouth on her and he definitely did not want her mouthing off to Sera.
"Please forgive us Lady Sera, this kind young girl was just escorting me to my dorm.. I seemed to have gotten lost." He kneeled before her, looking up to meet her eyes, his were that soft baby blue with sorrow in them. Kanra was good at looking genuinely sorry when he needed to, and his many years on this Earth have taught him everything about being a perfect gentleman which helped him talk his way out of most situations.

He stood up and turned to the day class girl, giving her one more smile. "Oh, and I smile because you are lovely." he said softly, honestly feeling saddened that he didn't get more time with her.
She may have acted tough, but Kanra felt a softness from her.

Image

Angel already had her head down on the desk, and her textbook pushed to the side. It had been less than five minutes since she and Drake stepped foot in the classroom and she was already fed up with the whole thing.
When she heard him speak she picked her head up, blinking at him for a few minutes, her eyes heavy. "Oh yeah.. I wonder what he wants." As the teacher walked in she opened her book, and pretended to be studying for today's lesson.

Blair

ImageBlair watched seeing Tak becoming clearly awkward whilst trying to be friendly to the pureblood girl. She smirked a little, being slightly amused by the event. Shortly after the Ame was left in the hands of the blonde, Akira. Blair had slightly doubted the males responsibility but as the pureblood had trusted him he must be… well alright to trust. Though Ame was a pureblood, albeit a little shy, so she must be able to take care of herself, right?

Tak smiled, well it wasn’t exactly a smile, he still appeared to be somewhat awkward about the situation. He obviously needed an escape plan because he quickly looked back to Blair. "Get them their schedules and stuff, yeah?”

“Yeah, right,” she said looking back, quickly wiping the smirk off her face. She turned, heading back inside, catching sight of the older pureblood, Seraphina, as she walked past the dorm. She was seeming to be scolding a white haired vampire that Blair knew all too well, and of course there was a human involved, there always was with him.

“Kanra,” she muttered under her breath. She had to say, the vampire hadn’t actually ever done anything wrong, he just… Got too close to humans for Blair’s liking. She had always been suspicious because of this, always thinking he was going to be breaking the rules, though he seemed to be very obedient to what the Purebloods asked.

Now it dawned on her that Sera was doing her job. Blair felt a stab of annoyance and her face formed into a slight frown but she quickly snapped out of it. She was doing Blair’s job, therefore that meant she had less to concern herself with. With a small shake of her head she picked up the pace a little, glancing over her shoulder at Tak before walking into the front office.

The dorm rooms and schedules were in a sort of folder, she pulled them out, handed half to Tak, and took the other half herself. Which ended being very few small piles. They couldn’t even be called a pile as there only seemed to be several sheets in each.
“Right then,” she muttered, more to herself, most of the vampires where (hopefully) in the dorm so there would be no need to go looking for them.

Sera

Sera couldn't help but stand in front of the pair with no emotion laced on her face, It wasn't that she didn't want to show her emotions, she was just taught not too. But it was safe to say this Day class girl surprised her. She hadn't exactly expected that reaction from her, normally the humans were afraid of her or showed nothing but respect for Sera. But this girl stood up for herself. She was a gobby one at that. And for some reason Sera liked it.

This caused her to smirk slightly. She was about to speak, but Kanra suddenly knelt down in front of her. He began to apologize for his actions, though she wasn't entirely sure if he was being completely genuine or not. Either way she would find out later, and more than likely have words with him later.

"It better not happen again, and next time you get lost" She chuckled slightly "It may be your last" She whispered the last part.

Turning towards the dark haired girl, a smirk still etched onto her face. Her eyes reflecting amusment. " What's your name?" She questioned her with genuine curiosity.

Drake
Drake couldn't help but sigh as the lecture began. Turning to Angel to respond to her previous question. " I have no idea what the headmaster wants" He muttered, quickly looking back towards the teacher before he caught them chatting. "But knowing him it will probably involve some extra work for us." He grumbled.

As many could tell Drake wasn't the biggest fan of being part of the Disciplinary committee, don't get him wrong it had it's perks but it just meant extra work for them, and it was time that could be better spent sleeping, eating or watching films.

Before Sakio could get much of a reply from the random girl in front of them, Kanra was stepping in front of her and apologizing. And then proceeded to kneel. Kneel. Sakio would have laughed but she was too busy feeling shocked. There were manners, and then there was crazy. Was Kanra on the crazy list? But 'Lady Sera' (as the white haired boy had called her), didn't seem surprised by the action in the least. So Sakio decided to just go with it and pretend these people didn't weird her out.

"I smile because you are lovely," was the quiet compliment that Kanra gave her after getting scolded by Sera. Sakio raised an eyebrow at the boy, not really sure how to respond to that. She was glad she wasn't the easily embarrassed type too, otherwise she'd probably blush. Before she could even begin to reply her attention was drawn back to Sera, who was smiling. Actually, it was more like a smirk. And she looked like she was genuinely enjoying herself. For some reason.

" What's your name?" Sakio stared, kind of confused. That's all she wanted?

"Sakio." Her reply was short if not a bit cold, but that was more because she didn't like the amusement playing on Sera's face than anything else. If she didn't know better, she'd say the girl found her funny. And Sakio wasn't really all that "funny", to say the least. She'd tried to joke around before, but it usually ended badly. So she just stopped.

"Right, well. I'm gonna go now. To class, I mean. SO, yeah... you two have a nice day," Sakio said while taking a few steps back. She wasn't completely sure why she had the sudden urge to get out of there, but she did. It wasn't exactly a scared feeling. More like she felt out of place. She was the only one in the area wearing a Day Class uniform after all, so the feeling was justified to say the least. "Bye," she added, looking over at Kanra before turning around and walking back to class.

After letting Blair take over handing out schedules, Tak decided to go back to zoning out. He was doing that a lot more recently. Maybe it was the weather. Most of the students had gotten their schedules and either headed to class or to their dorms at this point. And for Tak, heading to his dorm sounded wonderful. He hadn't felt tired when he first set out to do the stupid disciplinary committee stuff, but now he was exhausted. He hadn't even done anything. Just the few moments of human (well, sort of human) interaction was enough to make him want to crawl into bed to sleep and never wake up. Or maybe write something. That was fun too sometimes.

Suddenly Tak found himself yawning, something he didn't do often. He was lazy, not in a way that made him tired all the time when he was awake but in a way where he just generally slept and relaxed more. So, when he was actually up he was less tired than other people. Sort of.

"Blair, I'm heading to the dorms," Tak mumbled, actually rubbing his eyes like a little kid. "I'm tired. You probably don't have to stay. Anyone who hasn't shown up yet deserves to be lost."

Darius was lost. Bigtime lost. And for that matter, he didn't know this school had a pool room. Did vampires play pool? Were they so bad at it that they needed to practice? He was interrupted from his mindless wandering as he heard one of the most neckbeard things he'd heard in a while drifting up from the stairwell beneath him.

"I smile because you are lovely," was all it took for him to start choking back laughter. Holy shit, people TALKED like that here? What, did they also go on vampire forums late at day and talk about "tfw no bloodbag"? He was about to slide down in a lazy-looking pose when he saw the guy in question. His uniform was different than Darius', so he made the assumption that the guy was from the Night Class, and thus a vampire. Suddenly the incredibly dated way of speaking made a bit more sense. He was talking to a chick with a Day Class uniform, JACKPOT! Maybe this place wouldn't be so bad after all! As the girl walked away, he decided to go after her for directions and sat on the rail so he could slide down, expecting a slow descent. Nope, apparently they wax those things. As he picked up speed and hit the ground, he swooped in with all the grace and beauty of a brick, tripping and rolling before realizing he was on a direct collision course with the girl, barely getting a quick little "meep" out before the impact knocked her down, his weight and size basically making him a bowling ball of idiot.

One bruised and battered body later, Darius waved the little bats circling around his head away and tried shaking his head to clear his mind, but felt his nose rubbing up against two... Well, she was a board up front, but she had some nice rear cushions, he had to admit... {Oh, shit.} he thought to himself as he felt his blood boiling, reaching further and further... He pushed his head away from those perfect cheeks and stood up, taking a few deep breaths, a small part of him pissed at the cocktease and wanting more. Pushing the Perv further back, he chuckled a bit and offered a hand to help his accidental victim up.

"I think it might be a bit late to say this, but, uh... Hi?"
