Jay has been called many things; a friend, a pal, a gentleman, asshole, and his favorite, a womanizer. And each one would describe a different aspect of Jay. He cares for his friends, they are now his only family since his actual family disowned him. He has been known to bail some of his friends out of jail, take them out on the town to forget things, and one time even went to the sketchy 24/7 store down the street to get a friend, female, chocolate and feminine items. This is who Jay is, but this is to his friends and people who know him. He also tends to be a little flirty as well. But with people outside of his circle, he’s a tad different.
Jay is very flirtish with other girls, being a charming gentleman, saying all the right things, and seeming to deeply care about a girl. But most of these are empty promises come the morning after. When he wants to get with a girl, he learns what the girl likes and wants and becomes as close to that as possible, making it seem like he is their one true love, their soulmate. He will even keep the act up until the next morning where he will make them coffee and help them gather things to leave, when they leave they will never hear from him again. Jay’s friends give him shit about it whenever they see him wooing another girl. He says he is looking for his one true love and this is his journey onto doing that.
But all around Jay is a good guy, looking out for the people he cares about, blowing off the people who don’t matter. His friends don’t think he will ever have a committed relationship and he would probably agree with him. But Jay really does have one love interest, he just doesn’t want to ruin it, plus whenever he does flirt with her, she just assumes he’s just trying to bed her.

HISTORY
Jay was the first born of a normal, somewhat wealthy couple. Jay’s father was an accountant while his mother stayed at home taking care of the house and selling crafts on Esty for fun. He was a well-behaved child, never getting into trouble with schooling, never getting in fights. But most of that changed when he was around 13 and his parent told him they were having another child. Jay wasn’t too happy about this, knowing he would have to watch over it, and his parents wouldn’t give him as much attention. He felt like he was going to be toss aside for this new child and decided to stop being such a good kid.
So throughout his next couple years of school Jay’s grades lowered, but still passing, and stayed out later, not caring that his parents wanted him home. Whenever they asked him to watch over little Abigail he refused and either went to his room or went out.
High school was when Jay started to have a good time and piss off his parents more. He always had a solid group of friends that he could rely on, and slowly rose to popularity, but not like quarterback/prom queen popularity. Through high school Jay had a lot of different “girlfriends” as a nice way to put it. He would date numerous girls through the year, or even at the same time, but always end breaking their heart. Once he started having more intimate relations with them, he loved the feel that lust gave him, and started just going on dates, having one-night stands and ditching the girls after. He didn’t do this to every girl, he had the one or two that he was close with, Within his group of friends he was known to do this, and they would sometimes challenge him to try to get with different girls that they thought were out of his league, or dared him to get with lower/unpopular girls to see if he would do it.
Jay’s parents didn’t like him always having girls over while they were trying to raise another kid, so some nights he didn’t come home, spending nights at a girls house and leaving in the morning, or sometimes even hotel rooms using his parents’ credit card just to piss them off.
After graduating high school his parents thought things would be better, but Jay was able to get him and his friends fake id to get them into college parties, as well as got a job under the table at a bar but getting paid under the table since he wasn’t 21. His parents got tired of his reckless behavior and not helping, so they gave him a choice. Either leave and get disowned, or stop being such a burden on. They honestly thought he would decide to better himself, but to Jay it was an easy decision. He at first told his parents they would, but one day when his parents went on a doctor visit for Abigail, Jay packed up most of his room, loaded up his El Camino and left. He had to hop from house for a while before his friends all thought of getting an apartment in NYC. He had a friend who owned a small bar and offered to let him work there, but it would be completely under the table. NYC a place to start fresh, and a town with new girls.
