Rumors spread about the capital that the first Flame of the world blessed her birth parents with a child that would become the embodiment of fire. Well, rumors are only rumors, but to call this mage a living flame could be going to far. Her skin is a pale white color, a shocking contrast to her waist length fiery red hair done elegantly in up-dos for court affairs or while on business tied back into a simple braid. Surprisingly enough her eyes are a dark blue color making her an enticing mash-up of flamboyant colors in the barest sense.
While her attire is a mixture of her embracing the tall-tales of the general populace and it material of the dress is quite comfortable. Said dress is made of a mixture of soft cotton and silk dyed a crimson red. With the floor-length style of the dress, it's surprisingly convenient in all types of weather as Morganna herself has stitched flame runes in the underside of the dress with a single snap of her fingers, the fine fabric can heat up as if it had been warming over a fire all day. Given the nature of her Inquisition work it's understandable that a few days in the wilderness trying to find some cult attempting to bring back the dead that it was meant for durability. The only revealing feature of this dress is a slightly low neckline despite her reason for it to give room for a singular broach that grace her throat daily.
Now aside from the red dress, there another trademark identifier for this mage. A singular broach is worn about her neck at all times that seems to have a constant flux of color almost like a flickering flame dancing inside the crystal. The crystal itself seems to be hard as diamonds and is warm to the touch, those magically gifted could feel a sensation to a beating heart. This broach is a both a boon and a curse for Morganna as it acts a storage for magic siphoned off for emergency uses, but is also responsive to her own usage of magic and mood. In a neutral setting, the crystal has a faint yellow tint to it and grows progressively red if magic is being gathered for use or her temper is flaring up. Those with enough perception to the true nature of the broach are wise to take cover if the crystal turns a blood-red, as chances are fire is about to come out to play.
{O D D I T I E S}
Given her position as Inquisitor it isn't surprising that she has a few battle scars from having to deal with troublesome mages. Her hands are calloused as she practices mounted combat daily although one can still see the runes that seemed to have been branded into her palms. The pain from the procedure was worth it as these palm skin tattoos deem her one of the Inquisition and allow magic to flow from her hands at a faster pace. A few blade inflicted scars dance across her body including a vicious-looking one on her collarbone that seems fresh despite insisting it was an old wound that never quite healed.

✦ Cynical ✧ Honest ✦ Loyal ✧ Zealous ✦
To be an Inquisitor it seems natural that the mage in question will have to get their hands dirty. So when interrogating prisoners for information of admittance of wrong-doing or abusing magical talents, there is something quite unnerving when your torturer willing answers your punishment will be death. For someone to abuse magic or attempt to go beyond the legal ideas is something that Morganna can become quite flustered over. Some say that the witch herself merely put up the act to hide her problematic past in which she nearly pushed the bounds of magic herself in an emotional rage. Although, very few have dared to question the reason behind her zealous actions to avoid suffering the same fate of criminals.
Loyal to her country to a fault has earned her the nickname 'Caller of Dawn' as lawbreakers quickly find that once caught they will only see one more dawn before their lives end. While foes and common folk have dubbed her 'The Red Witch' given her fondness for burning the guilty on a pyre or on a stake like magic fearing folk of old would burn mages. If the scent of wood, smoke and soot are about her person then a trail has just ended and justice in her mind has been served. Unfortunately, her mind is clouded when it comes to the matters of magic as she nearly always condemns user of blood magic and other 'banned' magics regardless of the situation. This jaded viewpoint makes her seem quite bitter at the world and harshly putting down optimism of darker situations.
The one redeeming quality about her headstrong personality is that she has taken on a vow to never lie to anyone. Peasant, Mage and Royal alike have heard only the truth fall from her lips, now it's only the question if the listener believes her words. Now this can be taken as arrogance if competitive settings as if she thinks she can win, chances are it's extremely possible or in a darker context that a total of nine guilty parties will burned by the week's end. Her word is valuable as if a request is made, she will do all within her power to make that request into a reality. However, honesty isn't always the best policy as her mouth can spew some vicious replies and truths in less than civilized company which has led to a few political scandals and avoidable fights.

✦ Single Hunting Knife - Kept about her person in a hidden pocket along her dress. She doesn't have much training in knives and will use this as a last defense.
✧Leather Bull Whip - Her primary weapon that she wields with frightening skill. The leather can rip through skin leaving small wounds in it's wake. The particular danger of this whip lies in the runic inscription on the handle with the symbol of fire. Through the rune scars on her palms, magic energy can flow into the handle of the whip and light it's length on fire. The flame is hot enough to leave burns and give off sparks that could be use the environment to her advantage.
{S T R E N G T H S}
✦Fire Magic - Given her natural race as a mage, it isn't surprising her specialization come in the form of fire magic ranging from simple firefly orbs for lighting the way to more dangerous forms of fire.
✧Mounted Combat - She and her steed seem to become of one mind in casual rides or in the fiercest of battles
✦Enchantment - Has surprising gentle hand when it comes to enchanting objects regardless of how long the actual magic lasts. It could as simple as allowing a torch to burn longer or in her most recent experiment allowing the horseshoes of her horse to catch aflame burning the ground beneath it's hooves. The horse itself remains unburned making her a fierce horsewoman.
✧ Cold-Blooded- Willing to do anything or cut down anyone that get in the way of her King or her own personal goals. The methods that she goes about may seem cruel by others, yet for her it's merely another way to bring justice in a cold world.
✦Manipulative - For those who are less willing to agree to her either ideals or plans. Her method of compromise to manipulate the other side through threats, bribery and in some case seduction of words or body. It's surprisingly easy to twist a person's morals with a few simple words or suggestions.
{W E A K N E S S E S}.
✦Poor Melee Fighter - When it comes to dealing with muscle bound warriors in close combat, there have been several incidents in which she only got out a close combat through the sheer skin of her teeth and particularly dangerous close-quarters magic.
✧Loathes the Cold- Her body just seems to become weaker as the temperature drops given the blood running through her veins it isn't surprising that she has a weakness of the cold. If her body temperature drops too low she seems to be unable to cast magic at all. Leaving her relatively defenseless.
✦Loyal - Has truly given her life and mind to the whims of the King and any orders she finds herself compulsively following them regardless of her own personal opinion of the matter. If her liege or charge is threatened, she can easily become a pawn in another man's game without a second thought.
✧Limited Magical Stores - In combat she has to plan every feint and attack to monitor the stores of magic in her body. This limited store can easily be sucked away by an over-emotional attack or if she looses her cool in battle. Once out of magical energy, fatigue seems to seep through her muscles and can immobilize her into a helpless target.
✦One Track Mind- If a plan is set in motion she will stop at nothing to reach the these end goals. If this means having to abandon a wounded friend in a strange land as the target gets away every second the wounded are tended to. Some may call this tactic unnecessarily cruel and unjust..but her eyes the number of potential innocents saved from a wayward and dangerous mage are worth it in the end.

There was once a time when the world wasn't such a cruel place filled with dangers. Said dangers were seen as challenges or adventure in the eyes of native Apprentice Morganna eager for knowledge and to see the world. Born in a humble farmers village named Renfort with the only mage worth his salt was the town herbalist. While her parents could conjure simple sparks to kindle a stove or puffs of wind, it was their great pride to watch their daughter juggle balls of flame along her arms and hands. Her apprenticeship was a treasured time as she learned much from her teacher named Rufal, whose magic seemed to flow from Mother Nature herself as medical herbs seem to sing for him to find their secret locations or as his demonstrated once for a spellbound Morganna the magic of a singing daisy.
Eventually her magical talents even surpassed that of her teacher, yet out of love and loyalty to her village parents she remained. While her magical prowess was halted, she kept up with rigorous mental exercises and had begun testing the unknown waters of enchantment. Yet, there were days when she couldn't keep to her studies after paging through a dog-eared simple spell-book as boredom took over from lack of excitement. So she began exploring the joys of horseback with an energetic horse brought by her father for bringing goods to market. This physical demanding was a drastic change from curling up in a chair with a book, as faint muscles began to appear on the young teen. In truth, her childhood features were beginning to fade into more womanly ones much to her despair as she felt the changes affect her magical powers as well. It seems her moods became deciding factor to how well she was able to perform magic, teaching her the best magic was produced by a calm and blank mind. All this calm and tranquility seemed to turn into typical teenage infatuation at the age of sixteen as she was taking a leisurely ride through the woods only to be enchanted by the sound of a singular flute piping away a simple tune. The musician was heavily cloaked man with an impressive collar of crow feathers adorning the cloak.
The man claimed to be a simple traveler and requested she stay and chat for some time. Interested by the foreign attire of the strangers, a few simple but life-changing hours as the man spoke of frozen wastelands and heavenly scented forests and at the time, seemingly tall-tales of his talks with birds. Fascination turned into infatuation, as the young Morganna willing let herself be swept away by the man's charm and friendly nature without even suspecting a single peculiar oversight that the man adamantly refused to meet with her teacher. For the man was actually a traveling Skin-Changer, passable under the eyes of simple mages, but under eyes of an actually knowledgeable mage would immediately found out. Now if only the reveal wasn't a tragic ending to a happy childhood and romance between a tender Morganna and roguish Erwin.
Now like any eager student, there were a few topics of the magical nature that Morganna knew not to question the patience of her Master. One universal rule was the topic of blood magic. It was the only time Rufla had struck her as she took no heed in his requests to stop the flow of questions on the subject. His final words on the subject that users of this cursed art could easily loose themselves to it in all ways. Now if only these wise words were passed on to a few frightened farmers as a caravan of Skin-Changers came through town openly displaying their animalistic side after a dispute within their group broke out. There were a few harsh curses and screams as two men changed in large wolves and clashed with one another. Eventually a ebony crow came to a nearby rooftop and let out a bizzare caw drawing the pack away from the town. A town meeting was immediately called as frightened farmers proclaimed that the Skin-Changers were here to raid and pillage as in their nature.
Dark words came from the town hall, as animals were slaughtered for their energy on the wood floor, as the huddled masses called upon their magical talents to protect their very lives. A few daring herdsmen openly sliced open their palms and began chanting incantations to banish the Skin-Changers from their midsts, like sheep the crowd followed. Only a single voice challenged their dabbling of blood magic, that was harsh voice of Rufla who had been out of town in search of rare herbs. His demands were suddenly silenced as feral wolf ripped out his throat. In truth the request to banish the Skin-Changers was granted, but the feral creature remained behind. Villagers were butchered and consumed by the number only to be interrupted by a scream of anguish as faces of Morganna's childhood laid vacant on the ground, without a second thought runes to call upon fire were carved into her palms.
Smoke bellowed from the remains of the village with only half-standing charred structure in the remains. Along with an untouched Morganna in the center weeping scarlet tears as blood flowed freely from her body. It was only the harsh human-like scream that broke her silent trance as claws raked across her collarbone in an attempt to tear out her own throat. As an unsteady Erwin drew his sword from his person, demanding revenge for his fallen brothers and sisters who had lost control from the influence of magic. Viewpoints clashed as magic against nature came to blows between the couple as both sides saw the other as wrong. A single flame would scar Erwin's face as would an assortment of scars on Morganna's body. Yet neither could find will to end the other..so Skin-Changer and Mage would part ways.
So Morganna's journey didn't end as the mental and physical torture would continue throughout the nights to follow until she was finally found by the man who would become her future Master in the Inquisition. The cold man originally wanted to execute her for the crime of blood magic, but took pity upon her after hearing her story and intrigued by the potential magical talents of her. Such talents would be an attractive offer in future marriage offers as Morganna found herself under the strict wing of Lufe, 2nd in Command of the Inquisition. The aftereffects of blood magic seemed to only emotional as her magic waned if her moods were too unstable and if her body grew too cold. Yet the largest tragedy came upon her choice to visit a local Seeress who sadly shook her head at the question of children. Her foresight saw that there would be no children in future at least with mankind. That there could be a chance with Skin-Changer given that the soul of one was not entirely human. Even an Elf or Dwarf could potentially break through the sacrifice of magical lineage. The thought of a Half-Breed was a frightening one as a child would literally be in-between worlds, forcing to choose between the two.
A regrettable series of scandalous affairs happened throughout her eighteenth to twentieth years in hopes of taking a child in her womb..to no luck as the Seeress had never been wrong. Eventually this reckless turned into a driven, zealous Morganna who began ascending the ranks even taking over the head of the Inquisition at the tender age of twenty-five. There are times she wanders back to her childhood home, now only scattered grasses and wild flowers cover the once standing village as flashes of exciting lessons with Rufla, kind words with her parents and the tender touches of Erwin to be vanished with angry tears and lighting the field on fire every year that fateful day passes.
