Suzume stormed into her room after another lecture from the queen about the tricks she pulled on the Black Rose members.
"Stupid roses! Who do they think they are?!" She lept onto her bed and punched her 'I heart kittehz' pillow several times.
Suzume huffed and threw the pillow out the window. It fell for a bit before hitting the Black Rose's windowframe, then started falling again. A thought registered, and she felt for the katana that was laying on her desk. Suzume grinned slightly and looked out the window, humming noisily.
"... 'Accept the black roses', eh? Of course. I'll be of a great help to them.."

A ring of smoke puffed from Hiso's lips, a cigarette dangling from the right corner of his mouth. He rocked slowly in a chair as the pillow hit the glass window with a light 'thunk'. He leaned back a little farther in the chair, craning his head back to look at the window as an eyebrow arched lightly, "What the hell?" He said in his normal, smooth tone. After a few moment of staring at the window in his awkward way, he sighed and leaned forward. The moment the chair hit the floor, Hiso was already standing. He shook his head walking to the door so he could look around a bit.
He walked to the outside of the window, picking the pillow back up and snickering, "I heart kittehz? Who actually sells this stuff?" He looks around for who threw the pillow then looked up to the window above the Rose's house. He sighed and walked the pillow back into the castle as he dusted it off. Delilah sighed to herself as she entered her room. She had just been in the chambers with her mother and father as they lectured Suzume again. It was always so hard for her to watch her parents yell at Suzume and her crew. They were practically family as far as Delilah was considered. But her parents didn't really seem to think so after the Black Roses came to town. Its not that Lilah didn't like the Black Roses but she had always had a special connection with the Bloody Violets. Lilah decided she would clear her head in the garden. She put on her day dress and a hat and headed down the hall to the garden.

The sun was shining on the clear day as Takashiro was in a clearing by the garden sitting on the ground enjoying the light breeze as well as the company of a few bird. After The leader of Violets, Suzume, great "Welcome" on a daily bases the Queen had asked to speak with her, which Takashiro didnt know how it went or what it was for since it did not concern him or his crew. he did not know why the Violets, More so Suzume, hated the Roses so much since they were meant to work together. Takashiro just let out a light sigh as he could figure out the woman not one bit. he just sat as he enjoyed the wind and thought of a good way to relax as a tune came to his mind. he started to sing a bit as best he could, since he did not do it often, he wasnt great but it was good enough for him and his feathered brethren that was around him that joined in a bit. He knew the song well from his time with his late Master since he sang it a lot when the month of may had passed being that it was his wife's birth month. Granted The old man could in no real way sing to any level seen fit for a crowd Takashiro stilled listen to it. he believed the song was called By This River which was a tune that he was always able to relax with. The Birds echoed him as he went through the song with their light bird singing voices as Takashiro tried to think of a way that the two groups could get along better.

October rolled over on her bed. She was already awake. Had been for hours. She just.. didn't have anything else to do. There was never anything to do around here, especially now that the Roses are around. They were a threat, but a threat that cannot be illiminated. A threat that can only be defeated. Of course, October had no idea how to do that. With a deep sigh, she sat up in her bed. She heard a whoosh outside of her window and went to investigate. Down by the ground, just under one of the Roses' windows, was a pillow that said in big, girly lettering 'I heart Kittehz'. Only one name came to mind: Suzume. "Must've gotten scolded for playing tricks again," October said to herself. Bored, she walked out her door and knocked on the one next to hers, the one that belonged to Suzume. "Hey, Its October," she called, "Want to hang out for a bit. There's not much to do right now."

Yuki boredly swung her legs back and forth from her perch on the edge of the roof. She really had nothing to do, and she wasn't sure of Suzume was done getting lectured by the King and Queen. Yuki let out a sigh, shaking her head some. I wonder if this will only make things harder for us..Ugh. Yuki glanced around the ground for several minutes, spotting one of the Roses as he walked towards the castle, holding what appeared to be a pillow. Pillow?..Hmm. Shrugging her shoulders, Yuki figured she could always bug a member of the Roses, besides she had nothing better to do. Ah well. Looks like that's it. She thought with a quiet laugh. Yuki scooted over to the edge of the roof, taking a deep breath as she pushed herself off. While Yuki fell through the air, she let out a loud giggle of enjoyment. She offten had trouble free falling from high places, though the landing was sometimes a little more..trickier. Pushing her thoughts aside, Yuki landed on her feet with a soft thud. Tilting her head back she gazed up at the spot she'd previously been sitting in, smile on her lips. "Well..That was fun..Now I'm bored agian..Bahh.." She said out loud, talking to herself. She'd completely forgotten what she'd actually wanted to do. Greeat.

As Hiso walked back to the Rose Quarters, his eyes locked onto Yuki as she was obviously looking around for something. Huh... I wonder what she is doing around here. He though to himself as his arms crossed over his chest. He quirked a brow, a smirk slipping onto his face and the cigarette still dangling from his lip. He finally plucked the cig from his mouth and flicked it away from him, striding over to the Violet, "I see that I am not the only one walking around these fine grounds this wonderful day," he said with a charming smile, " but I am curious. Are you looking for something?"

On her way out to the gardens Delilah noticed October standing outside of Suzume's door. She quietly walked over to her. "Is she okay?" She said giving October a concerned look. "My parents were pretty harsh on her, it wasn't fair at all."

"Agh!" Suzume turned her head towards the door. "I-I'll be right there~!!"
She quickly dropped her katana and started to run for the door, but tripped over it instead and hit the door with a big bang.

Avaron walked along the stone path in the garden, her hands trailing along the plants. She closed her eyes soaking in the different textures, the stiff and flimsy leaves, the smooth and delicate feel of flower petals, and every once and awhile her hand would catch a towering strong stem of a plant. She had memorized every plant in the garden and where they were, though she never showed this off too much.
In her head she could here the plant spirits singing, there were no words, most spirits preferred their own language, which came off as music to Avaron. Today the sounds were something reminding her of a mountainous region early in the morning when the dew was still visible. She smiled, she felt like flying, especially with the summer breeze making her silver looking hair ripple.
As she continued to walk she heard someone humming, at first she figured it was another spirit wanting to be noticed, but then she realized it was actually Takashiro, one of the Black Roses. She opened her eyes and hid behind a bush that had light blue flowers, Agapanthuses. She didn't want anyone to see her because that meant explaining things, such as where are you going then they would follow her. She understood perfectly well that that was their job and why her parents even had people with that job, but she wanted to listen to the spirits today and not have to listen to people breathing, walking, or even talking behind her.

Takashiro Continued the song as he stood, picking up his straight sword that laid near by,feeling the need to move as the bird flew around him continuing the echo of the tune. He smiled lightly as he took a stroll through the clearing and headed towards the garden as the birds followed him. He always enjoyed this place since the flowers reminded him of home as well as the greenery of the landscape. He looked at the flowers as he hummed the tune of the song as he thought he felt a presence of someone there. He knew it wasnt one of his people since he knew their feeling well enough to tell if they were near. it wasnt Suzume ether she wasnt one to hide when she was near by more so when Takashiro or one of the roses was around. He felt this person before he was sure but didnt know who it was so he took a little look around keeping a grip on his sword as he did.
"I know you are there please show yourself." He said in a calm even tone as he stood there waiting to see if he would get a response.

Avaron noticed that Takashiro was gripping his sword. She was at a loss, if she stood she wouldn't have to worry about going against Takashiro, but that would also mean explaining things. At last she made a decision and stood.
"Sorry I didn't mean to frighten you," Avaron said, her voice quiet and breathy like the wind. She thought she would ask him some questions before he could ask her any, get him talking and get his mind off protecting her, "That tune you were humming where did you learn it? It was beautiful, at first I thought it might have been a spirit singing it, but..." she then realized that she was rambling and immediately stopped and self-consciously looked down, her hand automatically putting her hair behind her ear.
She looked back at the house, she was almost at the boundary. Her parents after realizing her habit of wandering alone had given their daughters, but mostly just for her, a boundary. They were not to go past the boundary alone, only being able to go down a small creek if they were accompanied by one of the Bloody Violets or Black roses. Though somehow Avaron always found a way to go to the creek alone which made her happy.

He let out a small chuckle and a gentle smile as Avaron came from out of the bushes as he relaxed a bit. "Come now Avaron-sama I was just being aware nothing more. I see you are on one of your walks again I see." he said knowing well enough that she tends to do without permission." The tune was one my Former Master use to sing called By this river." he said as he stepped closer to her as he held a hand up and a bird landed on it." I dont think I sing that well but thank you." he said with a smile as he turned towards the castle leaving her in the garden." I will ask you think please stay out of trouble Avaron-sama, but if you need me just call for me as I am always here to serve you and your family."

October walked into the room and placed a hand on Suzume's shoulder. "What's got you so flustered?," She would bet that it had to do with the fact the roses were around. Either that or because she got scolded again. "He can do what he wants. Plus, You know what they say," she paused to walk over to the chair she usually sat in when she was in Suzume's room. "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer."

Yuki blinked as she turned her gaze to the blonde haired Black Rose. Tilting her head for a moment, she frowned trying to remember exactly what she was looking for. Her gaze dropped to the ground, before looking back up at him. Then it hit her. "Oh! I remember now. I was actually looking for someone to bug...There's nothing to do and Suzume had another lecture.." She frowned some, shrugging her shoulders as she looked back to Hiso. "What are you doing out here? Aren't you normally inside your room, or..Somewhere not being seen?" She questioned with a tilt of her head, causing her hair to fall over and cover her eyes a bit.

With a light chuckle, followed by a quick smirk, Hiso shrugged his somewhat broad shoulders, " Oh, no, not at all. I tend to hide inside other places. Usually in bell towers and the like. Someplace where I can see it all," He smiled again, A lie by any other name would sound just as real, he thought to himself, "but to lecture someone for their beliefs is just cruel, I am very sorry." He finally reached over to brush the hair from Yuki's eyes, "You shouldn't let your hair cover up such a pretty face, you know?" With a sudden look, as if he forgot something terrible important, he shook his head, "Ah, forgive me... I am just inviting myself to lay a hand on you and I do not even know your name. Please take my apologies, my name is Hisoka Katsutoshi." He bowed in full as he would to someone of royal descent.

After Delilah checked on Suzume, she decided to go into the gardens. She loved the gardens so much because when she was little her mother use to take her and her sister and they would plant something new each year. On her walk she noticed her younger sister Aravon speaking to one of the roses. She walked over to where the two of them were standing. "Aravon where were you this morning. We were all suppose to be at the lecture." She didn't even acknowledge Takashiro.

Sunlight illuminated the room. "Ugghh.. what time is it?"
Evaleena sat up in her bed. She looked down at her burgundy sheets, she was usually prim and proper before the sun came up. 'Im always the professional one' she thought to herself, 'so what if I ocassionally sleep in?' She pushed the velvet blanket off her lap and got out of bed. Her mattress, as comfortable as it was, tempted her nearly begging her to deposit herself back into its cushions but as the strong and not easily pressured young lady she was she resisted and walked over to the bureau. As usual she pulled out one of the many red and black corsets from her plentiful collection, along with her lacy black petticoat and scarlet red skirt. She fixed up her make-up and added some red lipstick; to commemorate all the blood shed in battle. Then she brushed her crimson tresses which stoped abit below her chin, framing her face. She finished up by lacing up her knee-high combat boots and hid her newly sharpened utility knife in the secret pocket by the hem of her skirt. She looked out the window and saw the Hikuu twins talking in the garden and Takashiro who seemed to be waiting in the sidelines. They seemed to be bickering but from this distance Evaleena was unsure. They were sweet girls, and reminded her of Vena and Rauxanne, her two younger siblings she left when she moved to Japan. Now that she was ready Eva walked through the hallways and out into the garden. She gave Takashiro a sympathetic glance, as it seemed he was being ignored at the moment, though Evaleena doubted he cared. She placed herself beside the Bleeding Heart flowers, which happened to be her favorite, and watched the scene play out.

Yuki blinked, only a little supprised when her hair was brushed out of her face. Though when Hiso apologised, Yuki let out a quiet laugh, shaking her head some. "Oh no, don't worry. But it's nice to meet you Hisoka. I'm Yuki Shizuoka." She replied to him, bowing her head just a bit. Once she lifted her gaze once more, Yuki spotted Eva walking off towards the gardens. While Yuki liked Eva, she knew the ever prim and propper girl was not one to bug. Especially when Yuki's boredom was spiked at the max. Letting out a quiet sigh, Yuki's gaze drifted around the grounds, her expression turning thoughtful. "There's nothing to do today.." She mumbled, almost to herself before looking back to Hiso. "Oh forgive me..I kinda got lost in my thoughts." She blinked, before offering him a slight smile.

Just as Takashiro was about to leave the gardens the elder daughter of the royals appired and walked right passed him without a word to him. He just light bowed before her as she walked right to her sister asking about where she was. He was use to how Delilha acted towards him and the roses. it was understandable since she grow up with the violets, they were like family while the roses were not. He just watched them talked as he stood by and saw that Evaleena was too in the garden as she came and gave him a sympathetic gaze. As always the violet was very well dressed as Takashiro gave her a slight bow in greeting with a smile. "You seem well this morning Evaleena, did you too wish to take a strool in the sun and have a look at the flowers?"

Avaron's silver eyes lowered to the ground, 'So Suzume got in trouble again,' she thought. She looked back to her older sister.
"I was in the music room. Mizuki wanted to hear me play the piano," she answered. She was tentative about telling her older sister this because everyone in her family just believed that her friend, Mizuki or the moon spirit, was just her imaginary friend. And their mom especially got distressed at the mentioning of it always stating clearly that, 'You are too old to be having imaginary friends, and it's especially childish since your part of the royal family!'.
After mentioning Mizuki, Avaron blushed remembering that Takashiro was there and that Evaleena had walked up. She covered her face and ran towards her special creek without another word. It embarrassed her greatly to have to mention her dearest friend in front of others. She wasn't sure if they believed her or not because they could never voice or show their opinions, but she was sure that they were similar thoughts to her mother's.
At the creek Avaron could feel the suddenly cool air around her. Surprised, Evaleena's hand flew to the hidden pocket in her skirt where her Utility Knife was held. Though she knew if it was hand to hand combat she would do just as well, after all she had trained her whole life, she was no amatuer. She looked up to see one of the Black Roses in front of her. Eva sighed in relief hoping to not have scared him off.
Takashiro had come to greet her, unlike the rest of the Roses she didnt mind him, respected him even. Although their relationship was purely business he seemed friendly enough. Evaleena, embarassed, smiled and greeted him.
"Thank you, as do you. Actually i was just admiring the Lemon Bells, they remind me of my childhood..." Well the few good parts, she thought to herself. " ..and how are you this morning Takashiro?"

Hiso nodded at Yuki, a half smile pulled at the corner of his lips, "Yuki, I like that name. It's very befitting to a woman of your beauty," he said with a light wink. He ran a hand through his hair, the blonde mess shifted before slipping back into its usual spot, "You really don't need to apologize for getting lost in your own thoughts, we all do it from time to time," Hiso's eyes shifted over the the group at the gardens before darting back, "but I do know that if you are looking for someone to bug, feel free to look for me. I would not mind joining you in a little fun." He jerked his thumb back to the Rose Quarters, "After all, you are not the only one sitting around in sheer, crippling boredom."

Takashiro watched as Evaleena seened to tense up a bit at his greeting which seems to be the reaction to him from almost everyone outside the Roses. Am I this much disliked by the rest he thought. He knew that Suzume did out rightly hate him from no real reason and the eldest child of the royals didnt eem to even want to see or think he was there. Well thats fine a chance to prove himself was always welcomed. He just kepted his smile as Evaleena greeted him back."You honor me with that Evaleena, and I am well, well" He said taking a glance towards Delilah then back to Evaleena "Well enough. Hmm this garden does bring some good memories to my mind as well. Also some not so good ones but that just makes the good ones even better he said." He watched as something made Avaron upset to which he frowned a bit at." Seems something upset the poor girl, maybe I should go after her or would it be better to leave her for a bit?" he asked out loud but not really addressing someone with the question.

Collectibles
