Melissa

Melissa was about to just leave to find the others when she felt a hand grab her from behind. Out of instinct her hand swung out and grabbed the throat of the person behind her. However she stopped before she did when she realized who it was. Missed me? Asked Akane as Melissa slowly retracted her hand, partly wishing she had let her long nails dig into the elders throat when it would have seemed like an accident. She despised the elder, for more than one reason that may or may not have been her fault.

First off, she annoyed her. It was plain and simple. You can't like somebody that's voicemakes you react like nails on a chalkboard. Another thing was the fact that her clan was the one that put her to sleep! That alone was enough to want to rip out this elders throat, even though it wasn't her fault. After all, Akane went to sleep before she did. But she was still the reason that those vampires had existed in the first place. So in a way, she was responisble for her long slumber. So no, she did not miss her.

But instead of saying how she truley, really felt, she said this, "Dearly. You should stop being so late, you had me worried." At that moment both Saren and Incena left her alone with Akane. Wonderful! Now she was going to have to deal with her lunacy alone! But her worries were rested when only a minute or two later Incena reappeared, but looked somewhat different. Blood stain, there was a small bloodstain on the side of her shirt. The throbbing in her gums worsened and she said to Incena, "Seems like you were having fun without me." She needed to feed, but yet she still refused to for reasons she could not quite think of.

Alex

The girl she had bumped into remained wordless and just continued to look at her. Scowling Alex said to the girl, "You know it's not nice to stare." Looking at the girl she couldn't help but wonder how she managed to run into her. I mean, sure she wasn't paying attention, but she should still be able to tell if there was somebody in front of her. Maybe her eyesight was getting bad. No, if it was, the girl's face would look all fuzzy and unfocused to her. But she could just appear out of nowhere right?

"Where did you come from? Did you just walk in front of me purposely so I could run into you or something?" She had never seen this girl before, and she didn't like her already. Rude enough to purposely run into her or weird enough to do some weird invisible or teleportation thing. But fire clan members can't teleport...that has nothing to do with fire. Awesome, now she had a headache because she was thinking to hard about something as simple as a collision while walking. It wasn't that big of a deal, but it still didn't make any sense.

WarriorScout was annoyed by everyone here. They were all talking, making loud noises that stopped making sense to her along time ago. It was hard being a woman. She could easily just hide under her tiger skin and just run on her instincts like she did before, but now she had to interact with the world and... Let's just say, her animalistic tendencies were coming back to life, and this place wasn't a good place to shift and....

Warrior? Are you okay? Ask Mrala as the tigeress realized WarriorScout was grinding her teeth. She could practically hear Scout's teath moving. I'm fine... Scout looked away from the tiger, and added, Nothing's wrong. She could practically imagine herself running through the forest, her paws digging into the cool earth.

Oh, sister, don't be thinking of the hunt, because you're making me hungrier. Kishan half growled half whined and shook his head.

WarriorScout looked around, watching everyone continue their arguement. It was very annoying to be here, and the room was starting to become smaller, and smaller. There was no open space, no place to run, no place to breathe. She growled low in her throat reminding herself she was in her vampiric skin. No one would bother her, or even notice her absence if she just snuck off into the forest would they? No, they wouldn't. She was a gun in a gun case, only to be thought of as furniture until something bad happened.

So, quietly as possible, she turned and walked stiffly out of the room, followed by Kishan and Mrala. The two tigers stayed silent, knowing they were going to go outside.

After going through the twisting hallways they came to the garden, where she could shift and hide for awhile. Kishan and Mrala took off into the bushes, imediately disappearing from sight. WarriorScout rolled her shoulders and thought of her paws digging into the cool earth, the wind grabbing at her fur, and the scent of her prey.

A cool sensation slid down her back, like a snake winding itself around a tree. The cool sensation seemed to squeeze her insides making her fall over, sinking her fingers into the soil. Her muscles seemed to ripple under her skin, moving, tearing in some areas to reconnect in others areas, taking the shape she wanted. A growl came from her chest and grew louder just as her skin melted into her and black fur grew outwards. Her teeth grew, lengthened, and looked strong enough to tear through metal. The claws were the last to come, sprouting from between her knuckles, tearing through her skin and becoming part of her.

WarriorScout's fur color were black and a glossy sable. She was a black tiger, not orange or white like Kishan or Mrala. Her now glowing golden eyes flicked from every bush, as her nose took in the scents around her. Using her tail like a lever, she jumped into the bushed, and followed after her litter mates.

Dante Xavier

"No news on this end. Believe you me, I'm just as bored as you." Dante hopes of this meeting ending anytime soon died with that comment from Tenebre. Just as he thought of just maybe leaving he heard something that send a child up his spine "Don't you dare leave me here alone, husband." It always amazed him how such a small being could induce such fear from him, someone who prides himself on fearing nothing. he let out a long disappointed sigh and leaned his head on his open palm wishing this would end faster. (sorry my post is so short im in a rush =P)

You know it's not nice to stare.” Zerlinda was quite surprised of how the lady reacted, and a chuckle escaped her after hearing this.

“My deepest apologies,” she bowed down in respect, “I didn’t mean to come off rude.”

Where did you come from? Did you just walk in front of me purposely so I could run into you or something?” The girl asked again.

Zer looked up before standing up straight. “Purposely? Oh, you’re mistaken, of course not,” she insisted, reading the confusion on the lady’s face, “I was lost in my thoughts as I was running. I wasn’t able to stop any earlier as I hadn’t noticed you until the last minute, and I am at fault.” She explained as though it really did happen, “Although you seemed to be wandering off in your own world, as well, am I right?”

“I really am sorry,” she apologizes for the last time before turning her back against the girl, “But I’ve to hurry, I am to deliver a letter,” she says matter-of-factly, waving up an envelope in the air, but not so high, just enough to show the other.

As Sho heard Airie speak and give her thought's on the matter as well as her speech, although it was a little rough it was good. Sho started thinking of what he was going to give her. going deeper into his thought's so to make sure that she would not hear what he was planing. thing over what he knew about her and her power's he decided on two thing's. If Airie was to survive the upcoming month's that she needed to be stronger to survive, Sho knew that he would not let her die but he also wanted her to be able to take care of herself. Sho decided that he would teach her about Air pressure, it was a rather versatile art that could be used in a good amount of fight's. the second he thought he would show her "That". "I believe that might make her happy". sho looked Around and saw the fire clan lieutenant sit in the fire clan's king's seat.

Sho was shocked at what he was hearing "It seems that there has been a complication. The Fire King is now myself. It seems he was brutally scorched to death. A shame." Sho had hear that the deceased fire king what very powerful and a force to be recon with but to hear that he was dead so soon after there awakening when they would be at there wost terrified him. "How powerful are these monsters" Sho looked at Vladimir and Said "Congratulation's Vladimir on your rise to power and I am sorry for your lost" Sho gave a light bow with his head out of respect for his new found rank "so far we have given our own thought's on the matter of the awakening of the Elders but you have not been able to untell this point because of your rank but now you may speak with us on equal term's and i would like to hear your thought's on our given subject, and what we have talked about so far, the city, the pact hunting, the blood back and so forth" giving a light recap not just to him but the group as a hole. Sho awaited for the responses to flow in.

Sera's attention was starting to wander when Vladimir said "It seems that there has been a complication. The Fire King is now myself. It seems he was brutally scorched to death. A shame.". For a second, she was shocked, but that quickly to calculation and a bit of pleasure

So that annoying pervert was dead. Good. Of course it meant that the elders were just that powerful because degenerate or not, Kenshi was a strong fire wielder. She also couldn't help but feel that if the circumstances were different, this instability in the Fire clan would be advantageous to the other clans. Shaking off her not so compassionate thoughts, Sera got up and faced Vladimir " Congratulations, Vladimir. I hope you make a good King" Wow, lying sure was easy to her.

"But now" she continued after a short pause "We need to make a decision. Sitting here, bickering among ourselves is not an option. We need to do something and fast, before the rest of us die along with our clans." She stopped and looked around the other royals, waiting for their reactions.

Sighing out of slight disbelief in what she was about to say, Skyler continued from Seraphina's statement.

"I have to agree that being here is unsettling for all of us, but we can't instigate a furious debate between any of us; it'll get us nowhere. First, to at least get everyone on the same page, I propose a general toast to Vladimir as the Fire Clan's king." She wasn't going to thank Vlad for replacing the lecherous cretin that was the late King Reikokuna, but she could at least give him a congratulations on the newfound status.

"Second, I'll return to my previous notion of a general from everyone's army temporarily training alongside another clan's warriors, teach them how to fight like a different clan does." And now she had a good reason for saying it, even if it did go against her reasons for wanting to leave the meeting. "Think about it. Kenshi was scorched to death. He, king of the Fire clan and (regrettably) a master of everything heat, was burnt. It's obvious the only things capable of that would have been the Fire's Elder and himself. I doubt even a volcano would keep him from coming back just to screw another girl." Herself not included, since she'd have smothered him in dirt and buried him alive.

"What would happen if Dominick had to fight the Elder of the Water clan?" Maybe he'd be drowned, or dehydrated; worse, exsanguinated if his Elder could control more liquids than just water. "What about ANY of us with our own respective Elders? How long before another of us is destroyed by what we know best? As much as I hate saying it, and I've said it at least once already, we should prepare our warriors for more than just our own Elder, because we may as well decapitate ourselves trying to take them on as we are." Then came the conclusion; what Skyler could see as the best logical choice. "An exchange of generals and trainers to allow a clan to fight another's Elder -- one they could have an advantage against -- may be the only way we will have a fighting chance."

It was then that she noticed another soldier coming in. Just another common messenger approaching Vladimir. Since Skyler was right next to the guy now, she could hear every word. Well, the messenger wasn't very quiet anyways.

"Sorry, sire," he said, "but the queen has expired. Suicide. It's recommended to choose a new consort amongst your subjects." With his head down, the messenger disappeared in a mass of flames.

As the messenger disappeared in a flash of flames, Vladimir wanted to shoot something, preferably a living being. But he could not show his reaction to the rest of the royals, he could not appear weak, especially not now, becoming king so recently.
Now he had to choose a new queen.

Decisions already!  He could just pick a beautiful queen who was easily manipulated, but then his enemies would use her to. Better to pick someone who had a strong enough will to resist the enemy leaders.

He could pick Rowena, she had risen fairly high in the ranks of intrigue. But she had to much ambition. That was dangerous for Vlad. Maybe...Draconi? She was already here. That would help a lot, give the Fire Clan an extra voice in this chaotic excuse for a meeting. Royals and their posturing.

"Suicide, eh?  An undignified way to go," Vladimir spoke aloud. He took his feet off the table and looked around the room and found Draconi.

"I guess I will have to choose a new queen," Vladimir said. He drew a single pistol, then flicked it onto the table, spinning. It completed several rotations, before coming to a stop, pointing directly at Draconi. Vladimir has judged his flick perfectly.

He hunched over the table to look down the sights on his gun, and announced: "And the winner is... Draconi! Congratulations, you have won...a permanent seat at all the driest meetings there are! Come on over to claim your prize!" Vlad told her, gesturing to the empty chair by his side.

"Now that that's out of the way, I believe that in order to take down these Elders, we have to join forces and hunt them down one by one. In order to do this, all of our troops need to be well versed in the techniques of combat for each individual Elder. I agree with Skyler and think that we should send representatives to each others armies and have them rotate around until all the troops have been instructed by the Elder combat expert from each clan.

"We need to move together to a easily defendable position to train our armies. We have to hunt down these damned Elders and end their miserable lives once and for all. Now who's with me?"

Dom grimaced when Skyler mentioned him and the water clan elder. He resisted the natural impulse to tell her that he wasn't that helpless. After all, she did have a point, he had no idea what the elder was capable of... His attention was soon captured by the messenger. Dominic was shell shocked as he relayed his message "Sorry, sire," he said, "but the queen has expired. Suicide. It's recommended to choose a new consort amongst your subjects."

Suicide? Mari committed suicide? He ruefully shook his head. Why she decided to follow her husband who was the ultimate pervert was a great mystery to him. But more than that, so much instability in the fire clan at such a time was going to cause them problems. He was only half-listening as Vladimir, the new 'Fire King' gave his little speech. But he did approve of Draconi being the new queen. Who else was there?

Sho frowned to himself. this was an odd turn off event's and he could see the other lord's where getting restless and wanted to call the meeting to an end. dragging out negotiation's would end up leading to trouble, so it was time to call it to a vote. "I believe most of us have said what is on our mind's and i believe it is time to call for a vote. Each lord should stand and give there vote to whatever plan they wish to go foreword with, now who would like to start."

Gero

How long've I been flying? It couldn't have been more than eighteen hours. Wait, how long is eighteen hours again? It feels like five. Time must move faster as you age. Train of thought probably gets off-track more often, too. Whatever. It can't be much longer now, can it? After another hour or so of flying around, he even contemplated putting an ad in the news, or on the internet. Thankfully though, he found at least something before he went through with it.

Landing on the roof of a meeting hall in the form of a crow, Gero could hear voices inside. He could smell the stench of vampire. A lot of 'em.

"We have to hunt down these damned Elders and end their miserable lives once and for all. Now who's with me?" Obviously, he came at a bad time. He only just recently recovered his memories -- not even all of them -- and he's already got a target painted on his back. What'd he do anyways? Now figuring he'd have to find the others even more so than before, Gero lifted off into the air to look around again.

It took surprisingly much less time than the first flight, only about fifteen more minutes. Granted, he was flapping quite a bit harder, and this time the wind wasn't against him, but it's still a surprisingly short time. A nice distance from the bounds of the clans' territories, Gero spotted a safe area where the Elders were converging. It was easy to tell who they were, at least except for Saren and Incena. Melissa and Akane didn't change a bit, but the other two took a little longer to recognize, and even then Gero only figured out that Saren was the one turned into a monster through the fact he was floating and that the other elders weren't killing him.

Taking his place in a tree nearby, Gero the multi-colored crow watched to find out what was going on before joining in.
