Personality: Jayson is loyal and caring to those she feels deserve it. She does not trust easily and will rarely speak of her past with someone she does not trust. She is kind and protective to those she cares for and will always look after them more than herself. To people she does not know she is known to be cold and distant unless she sees something in them that differs from the ordinary person. Jayson has never verbally said to anyone that she loves them not even to family. She hasn't ever found someone to call a boyfriend so she isn't really experienced when it come to romance. Jayson also has a bit of a wild side that not many know her for. She likes to drink, party, and have a fun time if she gets the chance. Even so she can easily become sophisticated and elegant if she needs to be.
She loves too easily, secretive, angered easily, and hurt easily. Jayson is willing to go to dangerous lengths to get back at those who've double-crossed her or someone she cares for. Jayson can be known to engage in reckless behavior but doesn't much care about that. Jayson hates speaking of her family when she decides to bring her past up. She is the type of person to end up in jail trying to help her friends or for fighting someone. Jayson is also not afraid to talk about her criminal record but as far as speaking to an ordinary person thats as far she's willing to go into her past.
History: Jayson is the product of her mother's horrible abusive marriage. Her father had abused the hell out of her and her mother before abandoning her when she was six. Jayson's mother, Victoria, re-married soon after that to her long time secret lover. Jayson was abused by her step-father while her mother watched and tried but failed at helping her. One day when Jayson was 8 her mother and step-father got into a heated argument when her mother picked up a knife. Jayson watched, frozen in fear, as they struggled for the knife. Jayson snapped out of it and tried to stop both of them but her step-father got the knife first and killed Victoria.
Jayson witnessed the gruesome scene and watched as her step-father then came at her but thankfully the police showed up and he was taken into custody. After a trial and the revelation of her step-father's mafia related activity he was only sentenced to ten years due to a plead deal. Ever since then Jayson had been in and out of foster homes. She would runaway after enduring the abuse of her different foster-parents several times. It was up until she moved back to her home-town after a year of going in and out of foster homes that she had finally found a foster home where she hadn't been abused or exposed to extreme violence. Even then Jayson was badly damaged. She had a cutting problem when she was ten until she was fourteen.
She had relapsed, unable to handle the abuse and memories. Jayson is distant to her foster family even now. She hasn't gotten close to many for fear that they may hurt her. Now Jayson doesn't cut but she has several scars on her arms and legs. Some of the scars are burns that are a mixture of self-inflicted and having been inflicted by someone else while her other scars are cuts. She hates to speak of her past and also hates visiting her step-father in prison but she fears of his release which may be scheduled soon. Through her ordeal her foster parents decided to set up a trust fund for her so if anything were to happen to them she'd be okay but she won't have the money until she's 21 and Jayson doesn't really speak of the trust fund. She still has some ties to the Italian mafia due to her step-father though they only wish to protect her to repent for what her step-father did and this has also prevented her from having many boyfriends.
Misc. : Jayson wants to be able to trust again. She wants to have someone care for her and love her as she has never felt that before.
