He took his staff and proceeded for the shoreline.
'The plane's probably under the ocean now huh?I hope the bow's tube case made it to the shore...' he thought, staring around at the coast.
He saw fire, and saw 3 guys around it.
"Reason!Akita!Lina!Over here!" he looked back at them, motioning for them to follow.

"Now, now, I guess we should be thankful for whoever survivors we could find around here, don't you agree? The more the merrier!"
Silas laughed to himself. The more the merrier.. that's not always true, but in a situation like this, it better be.
Sasha still lay unconscious.

"And saying he wanted to be alone is almost the same as saying he wishes we were all dead, isn't it?" Silas thought to himself.

Ashton finally made it to the entrance of the forest, and ran easily on the damp sand, which was like dough under his feet. The rain had increased slightly and he shivered from the cold. In the distance, he could make out several silhouettes. To his surprise, the group of people he found weren't severely injured, that is, cat food. Yet. He sighed in relief, but was terrified that the creature would soon make its appearence. There was Reason, Akita, Izo, Sasha, Emmaline, and Silas. He also noticed a new boy, Darvo.
He slowed down, suddenly self-conscious of his filthy appearence. The rain had washed some of the mud off, but not all. From a few yards away, Ashton cried, "Hey! D...Did anyone see the beast?!" brandishing his spear. Pause. Then, calmer: "And...where's Peter and Damien?"
Following Izo who had spotted a pair of survivors up ahead, he beckoned them to come along and conjoin the two groups together. They needed everyone to stay close and hopefully no one was still out there by themselves. Akita was planning to go with someone else to find any other survivors across the perimeter of the island and along the way pick up any usable items.
Recognizing Silas right away, he strolled along behind Izo, but he didn't know who the other boy was, nor his face familiar to Akita.
Settling around the small fire, he stretched out his arms towards the heat which warmed his fingers immensely. Suddenly, a figure appeared through the forest, it was Ashton. Akita smirked and didn't bother about confronting him, but kept his eyes away from the boy.
"Wasn't he supposed to find those two?!"

"Look,I mean no harm.If you need food, there's some berries over with the girls there." he said, pointing, before adding sternly. "Share." Then he lit the tip of his staff branch on fire using their fire and walked off in the distance. He noticed a short boy emerging from the forest, brandishing something strikingly similar to a spear...Bah,that wasn't the important matter at hand, probably another survivor who found a weapon.Izo had to find his too.
He scoured the shoreline slowly, looking everywhere for traces of wood, string, metal,or even the buckskin tube.
He kept going.Going.Going.
Reason scrambled after Izo and Akita, giddy at the thought of meeting back up with the others. She plopped down next to the two boys and Akita.
"Hey!" She said to them with a smile. "I'm Reason if you didn't know! I think youre... Silas, right? And I don't know your name sorry." Reason once again smiled, apologetically.
She looked off towards Ashton as he neared, internally shuddering when she remembered he was the one who had attacked Akita, reopening his wound. Whats worse, the smaller boy was carrying a spear. Reason hoped he wouldn't lose his temper again, or whatever had happened.
Suddenly the others mentioned that two other boys had yet to be refound. Silas mentioned it had been Ashton's job to find them.
"Maybe they were injured and Ashton came to get help?" Reason suggested, not wanted to pit the suspicion that the boy hadn't bothered to look/help Peter and Damien.
She shimmied closer to the firer, grateful for the warmth in the cold . Finally the goosebumps were lowering on her arms, though she was still trembling. She stared into the embers, envisioning the plane crash in its midst, crashing into the ashy wood base. She shuddered, raising her eyes. Though she didn't like to think about it. Reason had lost many of her friends in the crash. She was lucky to have survived, So Reason would make sure she got off the island, for the dead's sake! She let out a little dejected sigh, turning back to watch Ashton approach.
Reason realized another thing, that the others had failed to acknowledge. "What beast?!" She gaped at the boy, not really comprehending his words. "There's not just animals, but beasts on this island?" She looked around, seeing Lina and Prodigy approaching but no sign of Izo. "And where'd Izo go, does he know about it?"
Reason looked to Silas, a bit lost. He had taken charge before, so maybe he would again.
"Wasn't he supposed to find those two?!" Ashton thought he had heard Silas say this from the distance. He fidgetted nervously. "I thought that someone else would have found them by now," he muttered. He twisted and thought of his refuge in the forest, regretting that he had left it.
"There's not just animals, but beasts on this island?" He was grateful that Reason had bothered to listen to him. Silently, he tried to recount the bristling, decacipated body and the sharp rows of teeth, the flashing amber feline eyes he had seen. But when he turned to the girl, he suddenly flushed red from embarassment, although it was hard to tell with the thick mud coating him from head to toe. He made a conscious effort to wipe his face, so it was a little cleaner. Finally, he cleared his throat, trying to deepen his voice. "Yeah...there's...a beast." He struggled to convey the image in words, not being much of a speaker. "It was really...big. And it had sharp fangs. I think it's some sort of big cat."
Watching as Izo trailed off in the distance in search of something, he managed to hold in a snort when he said 'Share', what were they? Kindergarteners? Reason followed after and joined the group around the fire. It was nice to have people surrounding you. Not only was the heat from the fire warming you, but heat from body warmth as well was being shared among the group. At least someone was still jumpy and ecstatic around here. He could feel Ashton's eyes looking at him, but he avoided it as best as he could.
"Yeah...there's...a beast- It was really...big. And it had sharp fangs. I think it's some sort of big cat."
Akita smirked. He couldn't tell if this kid was telling the truth or fibbing. He'd done pretty outrageous things to get quite a few people pissed off already and this goofy story was definitely not helping them warm up to him again. He let out a slight guffaw as he felt the atmosphere tense up from getting creeped about the 'beast' probably. "Come on' guys! Do you really believe this little twerp?!", he said sarcastically and scruffled Ashton's hair, giving him a light nuggie. It was playful and brotherly like. He was just trying to loosen the scare Ash gave to everyone, but he himself wasn't so sure and it showed in his hitching chuckle.

She watch Akita give him a nuggie, she chuckles before she started to act her age again. "Um,Ashton do you think maybe you just let your imagination run wild? And if you saw it,did you see all of it or a shadow?" She hated liars and people who told a story just to get attention, but she was going to give him the benefit of a doubt for once. She lays her bag under her bad and uses it as a pillow as she turned and looked at the sky.

'Perfect.Where's the rest?' he thought, sticking his lighted staff deep into the sand so that it stood on it own before using his hands to feel around for wood, feathers or string. He went further and further until he came across a buckskin tube. The same buckskin tube he used to contain his bow and arrows. He quickly reached and grabbed it.However,it felt like there were small pieces of things broken inside.
'No...' Izo thought, removing the cover and staring at a broken bow and several arrow butts. It was shattered.Completely rendered unusable.Izo kept staring at it for a while, unable to believe his eyes. His prized possession, gone. He placed several of the broken pieces that lay scattered around the sand into the buckskin tube. There's no way he'd leave it.He bowed at the buckskin tube,a sign of respect to the broken weapon and it's 'soul'.Then he got up,taking his staff and the buckskin tube with him.
He made his way back to the fire, and the other survivors. He wasn't really in the mood the talk to anyone now,and he hadn't taken notice to the new people who arrived, nor the person who just left. His focus was on the tube, staring at it with an expressionless face.
He then looked over at Lina and Ashton. "I don't think we've been here long enough to start picturing things. I think Ashton is telling the truth. We need to be careful at this place. We need to stick together."
He looked at Ashton with a serious, yet trustful look. He might have attacked Akita earlier, but he was definitely smart enough to not make a mistake like that again.
Sasha started reacting to all the commotion around him. He started gritting his teeth, almost as in pain, and he moved around a little. Suddenly, Sasha sat up from the tree with wide open eyes. His hand covering his eyes,
and sweat running down his face. His breath was heavy, and it looked as if he had just seen a ghost. He cleared his hand away from one of his eyes and looked around at the group, nervously. He felt sick, embarrased,
but most of all.. scared. His nightmares were getting worse than before.
"Um, Ashton do you think maybe you just let your imagination run wild? And if you saw it, did you see all of it or a shadow?" Ashton fell deep in thought trying to remember exactly what he had seen, twisting and untwisting the frayed end of his torn khakis with a free hand. The beast had been bathed in shadow, but he had seen fleeting impressions of it. An elbow went up to his chin to wipe the loose mud stain dripping from the rain that pelted onto his face. His eyes flitted to Reason for a brief moment, then he looked away nervously. For some reason, he felt really awkward around the girl. He started, "No, I saw it in the forest. I know I did." He paused, wanting to express what he had seen more fluently. He noticed that they were awaiting his answer.
With more confidence, he sprang to his feet. "I looked like this." His fingers curled to portray the sharp claws, and he widened his eyes to show the amber eyes that had frightened him so. "It kept pacing around me like this" The boy went on his hands and knees and tried to imitate the prowling jaunt of the beast. "And it roared and tried to kill me!" He leaped toward Akita with his "claws" in front of him, and made his most convincing enactment of the thunder-clap roar, baring his teeth viciously and letting an ear-deafening sound blast full into the senior's face.
Darvo got up and seemed disinterested in the topic so he just walked off into the forest. It didn't look like a very good idea since the light from the sky was slowly but surely being blanketed by darkness and in a matter of time would portray nothing but black and if they were lucky, a moon. Akita shrugged and didn't really care if that guy left. If he ended up not coming back then it would only confirm Ashton's stories and give them a good warning to prepare for what was coming. Not that he hoped his thoughts to be true.
Licking his drying lips, his hands had now gone back to its natural body temperature so he folded his arms back in, settling his palms into his lap. He watched intently as Ashton got down on all fours and started to act out what he'd seen.
Akita was quite entertained at first and was trying his best not to start laughing, but when the kid started to creep closer and closer to where he sat, he didn't like where this was going. Suddenly, as if to confirm the worst of ideas running through his mind, the brat opened his mouth wide and started to roar like a banshee in his right ear. "The' hell?!", he gave Ashton a playful shove and grabbed his own ear, starting to wiggle it lightly to regain hearing. He was smiling now, lips open and curved into a full on grin. Already, he was willing to let the actions of this morning slide out of his mind and he started to grow a liking to the twerp. Starting from a young age, Akita had always wondered what it'd be like to have a sibling and here he was, Ashton. Somehow this kid was able to break through his non-social barrier and warm up to him a bit. From now on it'd only get better.
Noticing a dark figure approaching from the distance, he decided to give Ashton a little scare though he knew that it was just Izo. He tapped Ash on the shoulder and pointed to the silhouette, "Look! It's the 'beast'!", he said as he used both hands to scuttle back in fake fear.

Reason, never one to contain her feelings, burst into full out laughter as soon as Ashton began to act out the scene he had scene. The whole complete picture, the shorter boy, covered in mud, roaring in Akita's ear... it was enough to overwhelm any doubts or feels she held for the moment.
The two began a short brotherly scene and Reason found herself stuck with a silly little smile. It was good to see they could bond.
"I don't think we've been here long enough to start picturing things. I think Ashton is telling the truth. We need to be careful at this place. We need to stick together."
Reason nodded to Silas's statement. That she agreed with. She would be the first to object if they all split again. Speaking of which, Darvo had now disappeared as well. Maybe it was alright because he knew where their camp was, but with a beast on the loose, who knew?
The red head poked a stick sticking partially out of the fire circle, then looked up to see a figure approaching them. Judging from the figure, Izo. Reason stiffled a giggle as Akita faked a fearful look and tapped Asthon.
"Look! It's the 'beast'!"
Reason then noticed another boy, Sasha, was it?, sitting up and looking a bit worse for the wear. The teen moved over to him, figuring she should say something, but knowing to tune it down since he was injured.
"Hey," She chorused her usual greeting, but softer. He was sweating, his breathing was heavy and he was pale. "Are you feeling any better at all?" She doubted it, but hey, it didn't hurt to ask.

She starts to think about any food they could eat then it came to her. Shequickly got up,probably too quickly because her head got lightheaded for a minute. She shakes her head feeing anouther two braids come out. "Oh this day gets better and better." She saids in sarcaism shaking her head. She reaches in her bag and finds two luna bars with nuts but she didn't know if anyone was allergic and she didn't want someone to die because of her. "Is anyone allergic to nuts by the way?" She asks looking at everyone, she didn't care about the beast. It was getting dark nd they still haven't eaten or drunk fresh water in hours. That was her number task.
He looked down at the ground and felt the sweat dripple down from his face. What is happening to me?, he thought. He felt so scared, so small.. he felt alone, even though there were several people around him.
He looked up at the redhead, nervously, not saying a word.
