Throughout history these two families have had the biggest, bloodiest battles known to man, some of their biggest battles even recorded in the history books. Both families of high royalty, though Davenports have always seemed to prevail as if they had some higher power on their side and the Blackwoods have always seemed to lose the bloody battles with the exception of a few.

The battle seemed to dissipate over time, the Davenports rose as victors, hero’s of England. Their father the king of England and one day the oldest Davenport daughter would take over her father’s place on the thrown.
The Blackwoods, became almost a forgotten family, if it wasn’t for the history books no one would even know who they were. Though their father rules over the Soviet Union, but the world could care less about the fading family.
Each family though has a dark secret, a secret that the world would never believe…
The Davenports are born not only of human royalty but they are born of heavenly royalty, the purest of Angel blood runs through their veins. They are beautiful and angelic. The Blackwood’s are also born of a supernatural blood, only darker, they have the purest of demon blood coursing through their veins, there mind is plagued with evil thoughts and any human who falls from faith is solely due to them.
So what happens when the Davenports and Blackwoods meet up at a royal ball, with kings, queens and princesses from around the world?
Tragedy, Romance, Blood, Betrayal, sacrifice, and death…that’s what is going to happen.

When the Davenports arrived Jerrica was greeted by an older women, Jerri’s assistant when she came to the Royal Ball. The Davenports were the most important members of the ball. ”Miss Davenport, it’s great to see you again.” she smiled happily “Why don’t I show you to your room.” she said as a few men grabbed the girls bags from the car, she wanted her sister’s to have fun, so she always took care of the check in and getting the room key. She followed the woman and the bell hops down the lavish of the palace that the ball was held in. The women unlocked the lavish family suite. She glanced down to her clip board as the guy carried the luggage inside the room. ”Two king beds, 2 bathroom family suite?” she said glancing to Jerrica “Yes.” She smiled soon she was alone in the large room as she sat on one of the beds debating on whether or not to hide in her room opening night.
After a few moments of deliberation, she went to the closet where her dresses had been hung and changed into something much more elegant that would definitely turn heads, her favorite tight long red dress fit her perfect. her long dark hair hung in loose curls around her pail face. She slipped into her black heels and grabbed her mask which was ironic considering the past. She made her way to the ball room as she entered she searched the room, not for her sisters, but for him.

"Would you be so kind as to dance with me?" a familiar voice asked sending chills through her entire body. She found it harder to breath because she knew exactly who the voice belonged to. She had to say no, she couldn't fall for his tricks again he was a Blackwood, the oldest black would. her brown eyes met his blue ones an memories flooded back "Yes" she replied in a soft tone against her own will it was like he had some kind of spell over her every time they were together, she could never quite say no. She took his hand as he led her to the dance floor.

Inessa raises an eyebrow at the Davenport girl when she turns and throws a wink at her elder sister, the one who currently seems to be occupied with Moshe, who is perhaps the most wild of the Blackwood siblings, and yet has a shy expression which does not suit him at all. It nearly sends shivers down her spine, seeing the second Blackwood child with such a look on his face, and Inessa cannot help but be filled with an inexplicable concern that the nearness of an angel is causing this behavior- or rather, his nearness to a specific angel with whom he has a past. Only when Addie has begun to speak once more does the dark-haired young woman look back at the angel before her, frowning momentarily as she assures herself that Moshe is simply strange. He'll return to his normal self eventually. As though some little angels could make us, the Blackwoods, act in such a way for a longer period of time than the initial moments, she thinks, silently resolving that she will distance herself from the interesting rebel before her, should things get too far. This should be of no concern to her, who naturally distances herself from things once they have grown too close for her taste.
"Follow your mother? Wouldn't that be interesting," Inessa responds, her bemused smirk resurfacing as she looks at the young woman before her, who stops midsentence and begins to stare at the Blackwood daughter with a new sort of intensity. This only leads to the smirk becoming more smug, for the effectiveness of her power on the angel serves to give Inessa the sense of control which she constantly craves. Soon the Davenport girl's lips brush past her own pale cheeks as she murmurs in her ear, the two growing close enough together that they might as well be laying ontop of eachother at this point, though they only sway to the song for the moment. When Addie voices her desire to know Inessa better, the sense of control only increases, although it is paired with a sort of satisfaction that exceeds the normal level when she has gained control over another. Of course, this is probably due to the fact that it is an angel, not a human, who has been affected by her power.
"The feeling is mutual, darling," she whispers mimicking Addie's previous proximity before spinning the girl out and bringing her back in to a dip that doesn't really match the current speed of the music. With the girl supported by her arms for that moment, Inessa is tempted to steal a kiss- and wouldn't that infuriate the Davenports a bit, to know that their youngest child had not only kissed a Blackwood, but the daughter as well? As she has no restraints, no need to stay away from the Davenports, and holds a rather strong desire to mess with the girl before her as thoroughly as possible, Inessa leans in so that her lips just brush past Addie's as she speaks, "But perhaps actions speak louder than words," with that smirk still on her face. She brings Addie back up and spins her back into their initial position, Inessa's eyes glittering with humor.

Quite pleased with her answer, he casually leads her out on the dance floor, all those feelings reigniting, from years ago. He smiled as he looked at her, "You know Jer, you look as beautiful as you did when I first met you." He said in a calm tone as his hands fell down on her waist, his body swaying along with hers to the music He lifted one hand up and let it softly stroke her cheek, a soft smile came across his face. "Why do you do that to me?" He asked his blue/green eyes searching her face for some answer. "You make me feel as if I'm falling again...but I'm falling for the right reasons." He gave a soft sigh and looked over at Moshe. A smirk comes across his face as he sees his brother's love struck face. "We aren't quite fearsome when around Angels...you make us act as if we were love struck fools." He chuckled and looked back at her. "Do you remember those nights we were together Jer?The way we lived every moment together?" He sighed once more, and just continued dancing to the music with her.

She feels herself being spun then brough down into a dip, fully supported by the girl before her. A brush of lips against her own sends a slight shiver against her as she hears Inessa speak. When she was spun again and brought back to the closeness of the blackwood girl, she brings her hands up to Inessa's back and slightly plays with the other girls hair. "I dont know what you are doing to me...but I like it" A slight smirk comes across her face and she leans in, brushing her own lips against Inessa's, holding the kiss slightly longer then leans back "This is going to be an inyeresting month."
Looking over Inessa's shoulder she sees her older sister Jerri now dancing with the eldest blackwood. Well this is quite interesting...seems we all are attracted to the Blackwoods she thought to herself. She kept dancing slowly with Inessa, she couldnt help but want more of this girl and she couldnt help but smile knowing her Father was going to be outraged with how not only is she with a Blackwood but she was with the Blackwood Daughter. "I do have to ask...why is a Blackwood interested in a Davenport girl. Hoping I would fall, is this what each of you are doing" she asked looking up at Inessa then motioning to their eldest siblings. "Because hun, I never thought id have feelings for Blackwood let alone dancing with one, tell me the truth, I wont be mad" she says as she brings her hand to Inessa's cheek and slowly caresses it "Because like I said earlier I want to get to know you more...you interest me".

The dark-haired young woman meets the kiss easily, a thing she has done millions of times before in her lifespan, and will likely do a million times more before growing bored of the action. She can feel Addie messing with the ends of her unkempts black hair, which seem to wave in every direction imaginable, yet remain uncurly nonetheless. The kiss ends after a brief moment, so that the pair of elites are looking at eachother while the Davenport girl murmurs about anticipating this being an interesting month. In response to Addie saying that she likes what Inessa is doing to her, the Blackwood smirks and gives her a teasing wink, "People usually do, sweetheart."
Inessa doesn't have to look to know what it is that Addie is looking at over her own slender shoulders- she saw it for a fleeting second during a spin: her eldest brother dancing with the eldest Davenport girl. This is far less concerning to her, for Sage has always been the most calm of the family, and the biggest softie, as well, hands down. Besides, for now she is focusing on the girl before her, though in the corner of her eye she sees the blond twins from before coming out from some hallway, looking disheveled and flushed, their lips the tell-tale swollen of kissing. The sight of them makes her feel like frowning and grinning at the same time- she feels smug about how easily manipulated humans are, yet disappointed at the same time. It can be rather boring, after all, when humans die faster, can consume less drugs, cannot dance as long, etc. Even though many humans are still her elders, she can't help but recognise their existence as wretchedly fleeting.
These thoughts are interrupted as Addie speaks once more, asking as to why Inessa is interested in, as she describes herself, a 'Davenport girl'. Admittedly, making one of them fall would be rather rewarding, mentally at least, for the Davenports seem to constantly be one-upping her own family. However, though she holds no fondness for the family, that isn't really her intent. After all, if the Davenports all fell, who would be left to dislike? Everyone needs a rival, and the angels are that of the Blackwood family, no doubt about it. Before Inessa gives her response, Addie has her hand on the girl's cheek, and is saying something about wanting to know her more. Inwardly Inessa rolls her eyes, knowing that this is mostly the desire she sent to coarse through the young woman's veins. People touching her isn't really something that the young woman is unfamiliar with, either, but she can't help but feel as though the girl's hand will turn to some sort of holy acid, which may come to burn through the demon's skin.
"Why? You Davenports are rather interesting- humans can only give so much satisfaction. Besides, it's the whole opposite thing- isn't it kind of sexy?" Inessa asks, raising her eyebrows and sweeping a strand of hair out of Addie's eyes. The song is nearing its end, she knows, but what the Blackwood girl will do when that happens has yet to be decided- she rarely plans things ahead, anyway. Inessa smirks at a thought that comes into her head, and immediately murmurs it.
"Besides- I've heard a rumor that angels are wickedly good in bed," she says suggestively.

The sight of them makes her feel like frowning and grinning at the same time- she feels smug about how easily manipulated humans are, yet disappointed at the same time. It can be rather boring, after all, when humans die faster, can consume less drugs, cannot dance as long, etc. Even though many humans are still her elders, she can't help but recognise their existence as wretchedly fleeting.
These thoughts are interrupted as Addie speaks once more, asking as to why Inessa is interested in, as she describes herself, a 'Davenport girl'. Admittedly, making one of them fall would be rather rewarding, mentally at least, for the Davenports seem to constantly be one-upping her own family. However, though she holds no fondness for the family, that isn't really her intent. After all, if the Davenports all fell, who would be left to dislike? Everyone needs a rival, and the angels are that of the Blackwood family, no doubt about it. Before Inessa gives her response, Addie has her hand on the girl's cheek, and is saying something about wanting to know her more. Inwardly Inessa rolls her eyes, knowing that this is mostly the desire she sent to coarse through the young woman's veins. People touching her isn't really something that the young woman is unfamiliar with, either, but she can't help but feel as though the girl's hand will turn to some sort of holy acid, which may come to burn through the demon's skin.
"Why? You Davenports are rather interesting- humans can only give so much satisfaction. Besides, it's the whole opposite thing- isn't it kind of sexy?" Inessa asks, raising her eyebrows and sweeping a strand of hair out of Addie's eyes. The song is nearing its end, she knows, but what the Blackwood girl will do when that happens has yet to be decided- she rarely plans things ahead, anyway. Inessa smirks at a thought that comes into her head, and immediately murmurs it.
"Besides- I've heard a rumor that angels are wickedly good in bed," she says suggestively.

Smirking he looked down at her, " You want to know if I'd catch you when you fell?" He pulled her close to him, "Aren't my arms around you now?" He whispered in her ear. Looking around he saw his brothers, and sister, "I'll say....looks like you all have fallen for us." He whispers a bit of humor in his tone. Pulling away from her, he intertwined his hand with hers. "Come on... we can't leave the party, but we can go in the other room...lesser guests." he said leading her away.
He did care about her, and he wanted to show her with his black, damned heart.
"Now... here we are... a room full of less guests, and none of your family." He motioned around the room, as he explained it, he sat down on a stool and looked at her, "Now what were you going to say Dart." He asked a smirk playing upon his lips.

Adeline looked into Inessa's eyes, she wished she could hear the thoughts of this girl but in a way she alsonlike the mystery, it was intriguing in a way and it also mea t she didnt have to shield herself if she was around Inessa. "Yes I do believe the whole opposite thing is sexy... I was always told to hate the Blackwoods, to not pay attention, that they are our enemy. I just dont understand why we have to hate eachother when we hardly know each other".
She continued to dance with Inessa, she did notice the song was coming to and end and when she heard Inessa's last comment she couldn't help but smirk "Well wouldn't you'd like to know" she leaned in and gave Inessa a kiss on the cheek "besides if I told you then it would just give my secrets away". Probably since my mom was around," her eyes stung with tears and she turned away. "What would my sisters think? Your brothers and your sister? What would He think?" She motioned her hands heavenward. "It's not like I'm damned to eternal life on this planet for my own amusement," she turned back toward him, a solitary tear glistening on her cheek. "But you just make me feel...like in your arms is where I'm meant to be. We're the two pieces of the puzzel that shouldn't fit together but do, and we make a crazy, interesting, and frightening picture..."

SORRY I have been super busy with work my manager really likes me so he works me from 8:30 am to 4:30 so I haven't had much time to get on i have gotten a tone of submissions for the last three roles so I'm going to review them and then I'll have the next post up!
