Orbot
The smarter (and sassier) of Eggman's two robot flunkies.

Description
Built by Dr. Eggman to serve as one of his assistants alongside Cubot, Orbot is surprisingly well-mannered and intelligent. But despite his loyalty to his creator, Orbot does have a habit of criticizing his plots and insulting him. He may yet end up in the junk pile one of these days!
So begins...
Orbot's Story

Deep within Eggman's base...
"WHAT THE DEVIL IS THAT HEDGEHOG DOING HERE?!" shouts Eggman. "I'm not even up to anything yet!"
From within his control room, Dr. Eggman watches Mario, Sonic, and Amy on one of many large monitors. Orbot and Cubot float beside him, watching as well.
"Perhaps you shouldn't have made the entrance so obvious, boss!" chimes in Orbot. "It is practically an invitation to come inside!"
"Da muscle you had outside was pretty suspect, too!" adds Cubot. "Not much of a stretch dat Sonic would think you're up to sometin', know what I'm sayin'?"
"Bah, whatever Sonic and his friends are here for, they won't find my security wanting!" chuckles Eggman. "And if even if they do get past all of it, I'll still have a surprise waiting for them at the end! Hahahahaha!"

The three end up going down into a large, metallic hallway. It seems empty at first, but almost immediately, several Caterkillers pop out of the ground around them.
"Mama mia! Caterkillers everywhere!" Mario leaps upward and stomps one on the head, avoiding its spiny body.
Sonic jumps up and strikes the Caterkillers down with his homing attacks. Amy helps out by bashing them apart with her Piko Piko Hammer.
All of the Caterkillers are torn to pieces, only for cannons to suddenly pop out of the ceiling behind the group and begin shooting out flames.
"Alrighty, let's-a make this count!" With deft acrobatics and good timing, Mario jumped up and over each fire cannon.
Using his sonic speed, Sonic easily dodges the cannons fire while Amy carefully avoids them without getting her hair burned.
As the cannons continue to shoot out flames, spikes suddenly pop out of the wall at end of the hallway behind the group. The wall then begins slowly sliding towards the trio.
"Hang on, guys! We'll make it quicker!" Sonic grabs Mario's and Amy's arm and sprints through the hallway. As he does so, he dodges obstacles and prevent them from harming Mario and Amy.

The various traps and obstacles are saddened that they never got to kill anyone, and begin commiting seppuku.
"This-a should come in handy...!" Mario said as he picked up the Super Leaf. Its mystical power manifested the Tanooki Suit around Mario!
At that moment, lasers shoot down from the ceiling behind and in front of the group, and begin slowly inching toward them.
Sonic dodges the lasers with Amy as quick as possible. A single touch could burn and lose his all hard earned rings
