Setting
This expanse of savannah extends into the Dry Dry Desert in the north of Dream Valley. Foliage may be sparse, but it's more frequent than in the desert to the south.
At the northern area is Edge Town, a large outpost built for travelers making their way through the wilds and desert ahead. It may be in the middle of nowhere, but it's got everything any explorer needs to go forward.

The spacecraft that had lured the Hyperion away from Haven was seen flying over Edge Wilds, its back engine blown out (likely by the Hyperion's attack). Unstable, it was force to touch down just outside of Edge Town, skidding on its landing gear to a stop. After that, it deactivated, its hatch opening. Out of it came a girl with pink hair, the ears and tail of a fox, a blue uniform, and black boots. Hovering out of the backseat was a tall, slender figure with pale cyan skin and white hair.
"That was...unfortunate," the tall man said.
"Sorry, Sage Phoebus..." the fox girl lamented. "At this rate, we'll never get back to Gallinia!"
"Now Myaku, don't fret," the tall man, Phoebus, replied. "Practically all of the battle will be down here in the terra firma, anyway. And as whimsical luck would have it, this area's key has been broken..."
"Well, that's even worse!!" the fox girl, Myaku, cried out. "I...I don't know if I'm ready for - !"
"We will be, when the time comes," Phoebus said.
Myaku caught a deep breath, heeding Phoebus's words. Maybe he was right - perhaps when it matters most, she'll be ready.
"That was...unfortunate," the tall man said.
"Sorry, Sage Phoebus..." the fox girl lamented. "At this rate, we'll never get back to Gallinia!"
"Now Myaku, don't fret," the tall man, Phoebus, replied. "Practically all of the battle will be down here in the terra firma, anyway. And as whimsical luck would have it, this area's key has been broken..."
"Well, that's even worse!!" the fox girl, Myaku, cried out. "I...I don't know if I'm ready for - !"
"We will be, when the time comes," Phoebus said.
Myaku caught a deep breath, heeding Phoebus's words. Maybe he was right - perhaps when it matters most, she'll be ready.
Phoebus draped the broken spacecraft in some sort of veil for the time being. The veil bent light around itself, making it and the spacecraft within look invisible.
"Now then...We should see if we can rendezvous with Orion," Phoebus explained. "Assuming he hasn't left Fantasma already, of course."
"Roger!" Myaku said with a salute. Then, they set off for Mt. Moon.
However, somewhere in the area is Fawful, who was spying on Myaku and Phoebus.
"Nihehehehe...!" he chuckled. "What brings the dwellers of the great golden rice cake to this dry crust? This is worth a look-into! Look out, fink-rats! Fawful's coming for you!"
With that, he pursued on his rocket platform.
