With golden locks that traveled well passed her shoulders, fair skin, curved facial features, and mesmerizing hazel eyes, Sam resembles much of her past self. The version of her when she was still alive, and with her friends. The only difference now is, well, she's dead. And well, much older than she used to look. Due to the fact of her being a ghost, she could manifest herself in any way she wished. And as time went on, and her friends grew up, so did she. Which brings here to where she is now. Appearing in what would have been her natural age if she had still been alive.
The only distinct thing, is that her complextion is now more that of a typical ghost, somewhat veering towards pale but not sickly. Her eyes seem to be a bit darker, as is her hair. Veering with darker roots than she remembered having when she was a child. As for clothing, Sam typically appears wearing a long, rather simple black dress. In easiest terms, it's what many would consider unorthodox funeral attire.

While life had been anything but unforgiving in Sam's case, seeing how her short life came to an untimely end, it never made her cruel. Even when she came back as a ghost. Confused, lost, and scared. She was alone, having no recollection of what happened to her. She was a hallow shell of what she used to be, or more so, who she used to be. That was until those memories trickled back in. After enough came back to her, Sam remembered everything. She remembered her friends, her family, her life. Everything. Except, a few things that were fuzzy, and still are to this day.
Sam's fully aware that she's a ghost. She knows she's been dead for a very long time, even if it doesn't feel like it to her. While she hasn't actually aged, her 'body' has taken on the form of what she can only assume what would have been adult her. Seeing her friends that remained in Gravity Falls, helped keep her grounded. If she could only remain in the shadows. And it's precisely what she did. Sam has learned things from an outsiders perspective, looking in. While she may be something entirely different than what everyone knew, she's still the same person. However different by appearence and status of living. Sam still has her morals, and ways of treating people. Just because her life was taken from her, she never lost herself. Her ever gentle approach to life and treating people with endless kindness and love is still there. She's still the witty and sarcastic friend everyone knew her to be when she was still a kid. She still holds the dreams of becoming something, even though she knows those dreams are all too easily out of reach.
All that she truly hopes for, is that one day, her friends will come home, and she'll be able to be strong enough to reach out to them. Show them all that she's still here. That she's always been here. She never left, and that she wants nothing more than for them to forgive themselves. She doesn't blame them for what happened that night. None of it was their fault, least from what she can remember. She wishes nothing more than for her friends to find peace and closure, then may she too will be able to finally be at peace, and be able to move on..
