Kaori Yoshida's Story

Kaori woke up, one minute before her alarm clock. She shot her eyes towards the clock and smiled. 4:29, eh? Kaori smacked the top of the alarm clock, and kicked her sheets off. She stretched her arms out and yawned. For once, Kyo didn't annoy the shit out of me all night and keep me awake. Kaori jumped out of bed and walked towards her full body mirror and sweatdropped. Wow, I look like ass this morning... Kaori grabbed her brush and tried brushing all the knots out of her thick, long hair before putting her jogging clothes on.

Kaori walked out of her house and finished tying her hair up into a high ponytail. She swung her hand towel around the back of her neck and grabbed onto the other end with her opposite hand. Kaori walked towards the small gate at the front of her house and opened it up, then shut it behind her. Kaori put her headphones in, played a specific song and began jogging at a slow pace.

After doing her very last sprint around the corner, towards her house, Kaori opened the gate to her house, breathing quite heavily, and took her ear phones out. Kaori tugged on the hand towel, that was resting on her shoulders, and wiped some sweat away from her forehead, then proceeded to her collarbone area and the back of her neck as she walked towards the entrance. Kaori kicked her shoes off by the door and jumped into her slippers. She walked up the stairs, and into her room, checking her alarm clock. 5:45, exactly. So, that means if I took shower right now, I'd have some free slacking time this morning. Kaori smiled at herself and threw her sweaty hand towel at her laundry hamper. Oh, the joys of being an organized person.

Kaori hopped out of the shower and wrapped a pink towel with strawberries all over it around her body. Geez, this thing even smells like strawberries... Ever strange. Kaori shrugged it off, and walked into her room. She plugged in a blow dryer near her full body mirror. Kaori looked in her closet and found her uniform hanging up. She threw it onto her bed, and walked towards her dresser. She pulled out some undergarments and her knee high socks, and threw them on the bed as well. Kaori walked towards her mirror and began blow drying her hair.

And for the finishing touch on her uniform, Kaori slid on her long socks and stood up. Okay, let's take a look at the time. Kaori turned her head towards her clock and sighed. 6:52, eh? I almost forgot about Kyo... That lazy ass hole. Kaori jumped off of her bed, and left her room. Kaori made her way towards Kyo's room. Kaori opened the door, without a care, and flickered the light on and off. "Get up, Kyo!" Kaori shouted, over his alarm clock that clearly didn't wake him up. Kyo grunted, mumbled something and shoved his face into his pillow. Kaori made a clicking noise with her tongue and rolled her eyes.

Here we go, again. Kaori made a final flick at the light, leaving it on, and marched towards Kyo. She pulled the pillow away, causing Kyo to smack his face on his mattress, which also caused him to shoot a grumpy glare at Kaori, then flip his body over in the opposite direction. Kaori placed a hand on her hip and smacked Kyo with his own pillow, with her free hand. "What the hell was that look for?! Get up, you lazy ass!" Kyo finally turned over and squinted at Kaori, with a smile. "Good morning, Kaori." Kaori frowned and smacked him with his pillow once more. "Just a minute ago, you were looking at me like you were about to bite my head off!" Kaori rolled her eyes and walked away.

Kyo lied there for a moment, then sat up. "I was?" Kyo shrugged, realized she had already left. Kyo sat up out of bed and yawned, stretching his arms. He looked at his alarm clock and frowned a bit. Why does she have to set my alarm so early? Kyo curled his hand into a fist, and shot it down into his other hand, remembering why. Oh right. 'Cause I'm the only one around here who can cook proerly.~ Kyo forced himself out of bed, slid his slippers on and walked into the bathroom. Kyo kicked his slippers off when he got in the bathroom and hopped in the shower, feeling relaxed by the temperature of the water. Ah... Hot water.

Kaori divided the top layers of her hair, perfectly on both sides of her head, so she could put them both in pigtails. Kaori smiled at herself in the mirror and left her room, she heard the shower water running, and knew that Kyo was having a shower. Kaori went into his room and set his alarm clock for 15 minutes later. If this doesn't work, then I'll make him get up at 4:30 with me every morning. Kaori frowned at the thought of having to wake up her annoying cousin every morning. She walked around the house making sure she had everything ready, and didn't forget to pack anything in her bag. Kaori reached for her watch, and put it on her wrist. She checked the time and sighed. It's already 7:06. I don't want to go to school... Kaori walked into the living room and turned on the t.v., lying down on the ground with her arm over her eyes, just listening to the weather network.

Kyo forced himself to get out of the shower, no matter how tempting it was to just fall asleep in the shower. He wrapped a towel around himself and went into his room. He tossed his uniform on, and failed at tying his tie. Damn it, why can't I tie ties? Kaori sucks at it too... I guess I'll just have to ask someone at school to help. Kyo shrugged and forgot about it easily, not letting it bother him. Kyo walked downstairs and headed towards the kitchen, his hair still dripping wet. He pulled out some ingredients. He prepared the rice cooker and placed rice inside. Kyo cut up some vegetables and cracked some eggs on a pan. He mixed the cut up vegetables with the egg, at the appropriate time, in order to make three omelets. Kyo pulled out three average sized plates and placed the omelets on the sides of all three plates. He brought the rice cooker out into the living room- slash- dining room and placed it beside Kaori, who was too busy listening to the weather network to notice him. Kyo head back into the kitchen and got out the leftover pickled plums and chopsticks. He brought the plates out into the living room- slash- dining room, balancing them on one arm and set them down at the appropriate spots on the table, along with the leftover pickled plums and chopsticks. Kyo went back in one last time to grab strips of dried nori seaweed and brought them into the living room- slash- dining room. He sat down by the rice cooker and he rolled the rice balls into a perfect rice ball shape. Kyo added the pickled plums to his rice balls and wrapped them in strips of dried nori seaweed. He placed six on each plate, and used the remaining rice as a small side dish to the breakfast. Kyo smiled, satisfied with his work. "Kaori, it's breakfast time!~"

Kaori smiled and shot up off of the floor. "Man, am I hungry!" Kaori scooted to her plate and sat on her knees, while Kyo got up to go wake Kaori's mother up. Kaori scarfed the food down, so quickly, that she almost couldn't enjoy it's deliciousness. Almost. Kaori put her dirty dishes in the kitchen and went back into the living room. Kyo came back with Kaori's mother, and Kaori was already finished. Kaori checked her watch and gasped lightly. "Kyo, you better hurry up! You still have to make our bento lunches, and you haven't even started eating yet!" Kyo raised an eyebrow. "Okay, should I be concerned about something?" Kaori nodded very quickly. "Yes, you should! It's already 7:31!" Kyo sat down and quickly ate his breakfast as well, while Kaori's mother took her time. Kaori ran into the bathroom and brushed her teeth quickly. She ran into her room and grabbed her school bag. She quickly ran down the stairs and towards the entrance. Kyo spotted her and questioned her. "Hey, hey, hey! Where are you going?" Kaori took her slippers off and slid her feet into her shoes. "I'm going to school!" Kyo gasped, dramatically. "Without me?! How dare you betray me, Kaori." Kyo wiped away a fake tear, and placed his hand on his forehead. Kaori rolled her eyes before sliding the door open. "Bite me." Kaori said, before zooming to school. Kyo sighed and hurried his dirty dishes to the kitchen. He quickly made himself and Kaori bento lunches before rushing upstairs to brush his teeth and hair quickly. Kyo grabbed his school bag and his favorite book before rushing towards the entrance. "Bye, mom!" Once in a while, Kyo will call Kaori's mother, mom. It's mostly when he feels that she needs to hear that, like how Kaori hardly ever talks to her, so she can't hear her own daughter calling her mom.

Kyo found Kaori sitting down at a bench, breathing lightly. Kyo went and plopped down right beside, he was breathing heavily. Kyo handed Kaori her lunch, and Kaori took it. "Thanks." Kaori quickly said before pushing it in her bag. Kyo nodded and continued breathing. When his breathing was lighter, he finally asked Kaori, "So where are those idiots today, anyways?"

OOC: HOLY LONGNESS. You don't have to read all of this if you don't want to. But I would say that this small part is more important than the huge ass paragraph of like, 10,000+ characters I just wrote. :3

Kaori looked at Kyo, after shoving the bento lunch he made for her in her bag. "How the hell am I suppose to know? I just got here!" Kyo raised his hands in defense and Kaori plopped back into her seat. "It's not like we have to be around them 24/7." Kaori still said things like this, no matter how much she loved being around her friends. Kyo looked at Kaori and sighed, knowing what she was feeling. Kaori tries her best to push others away, so she doesn't hurt anyone or get hurt. She thinks she's a bother to everyone. While Kyo on the other hand, feels that he needs people to motivate him, but is actually a lonely guy. "Kaori, I hope you realize that you don't have to--"

Ha... The Yoshi combo.... Isn't that nice. So.. What about the idiots?

Kaori looked curiously at Kyo, wondering what he was about to say, before he realized who was talking to them. Kaori looked right at Jaemin, and then quickly looked away, allowing Kyo to respond. "Well, you see. I tried asking Kaori here..."

Kaori frowned, vein popped and sweat dropped all at once. "...But she--" Kaori stood up quickly and punched Kyo on the top of the head, then sat back down. "Ow, what was that for?!" Kaori looked in the other direction and folded her arms. "Shut up!" Kaori looked at Jaemin and blushed a little when he began scolding her.

You know.... Kaori.. it might not always be the best choice to make your brother make your lunches... I mean what will you do if he gets married or something??

Kaori stayed silent for a moment, then finally spoke up. "Because I can't cook worth shit." She shot a small glare at Jaemin. "That's why." Kyo laughed a bit at Jaemin's question and nodded. "Yep. She wouldn't survive without me around." Kyo whispered back. Kaori turned her body towards them completely. "H-Hey, what did you say?!" Kaori asked both Jaemin and Kyo, and Kyo just laughed at Kaori. Kaori frowned, but then seen Tamika sneaking up behind Kyo and smirked. We'll see who's laughing after this. Kyo settled down, and raised an eyebrow at his smirking cousin.

Boo.

Kyo's eyes widened and he fell off of the other end of the bench. He looked up and seen Tamika standing there. Kaori snorted then burst out into laughter. She was laughing so hard, that tears were forming in her eyes. Kaori held onto her stomach and pointed at Kyo on the ground, laughing her ass off. "You... You f-fell off the bench!" Kaori's loud laugh attracted attention, the Kyo rolled his eyes and got up. He dusted himself off and smirked at Tamika. He eyed down at her skirt, and looked at the bystanders. "Hey, what's that?" Kyo pointed in the other direction, so the bystanders would look the other way. Kyo didn't want to embarrass her too badly. Kyo reached down for her skirt, and flipped it up, revealing her panties. "Electric blue, eh? It suits you." Kaori placed two hands over her mouth. She tried so hard to hold back her laughter, that she snorted loudly. "I could have guessed without seeing them. It's your favorite color."

You're going to regret that, you know.

Kyo scratched the back of his head. "I am?" All Kaori could do was roll her eyes and covered her face with her palm. Of course you are, dumb ass. Kaori thought to herself and sighed. Kaori got up, wiped off her skirt and looked over, then 'face palmed' again.

Tami... Next time... try blue stripes.

Kaori took her hand away from her face to look over at Jaemin, and had an annoyed expression on her face. I don't believe it! He's practically worse than Kyo! Kaori crossed her arms and another thought popped into her head. I am definitely not jealous. Kyo chuckled along with Jaemin and slid his hands into his pockets. "You certainly are right, my friend."

At least I'm sure Kaori doesn't dress that way??? Hey don't glare at me like that!! That was a compliment..

Kaori's face turned beat red and she vein popped. Kaori walked towards Jaemin and gave him a good punch on top of the head. Kyo chuckled a bit then looked back at Tamika, who was sprinting towards her. Oh damn it, I've seen this approach before... Kyo thought of all the times Kaori beat on him, even if he refused to fight back seriously. Kyo held his arms in front of his face, hoping that if he got hit in the face, he could push her off. However, she went for some place else.

Kaori looked over at Tamika, who was flying towards her cousin and she rolled her eyes. "As to be expected." Kaori quickly slipped out, before Tamika actually kicked Kyo. Kyo's eyes widened and he stumbled back a couple steps, holding onto his stomach with one arm.

I've always wanted an excuse to do that! That was fun!

Kyo looked up at Tamika who was smirking. So, Kyo decided to smirk as well. "I see." Even Kaori was a bit confused, as she looked at her cousin. "You don't like male attention." Kyo straightened his posture and slid his hands back into his pockets, with a small cough from the hard blow he just took. "You swing the other way, don't you, Tami-chan?" Kaori's eyes widened and she rolled her eyes... Again. She marched right up to her cousin and grabbed him by his hair at the back of his head, pulling him down to her height. Kyo flinched a little and shot and small glare of confusion. Kaori returned the glare, but of one with annoyance. "Err, right. Kaori chuckled nervously then just sighed. "Well, we have some things to do. Talk to you guys later!" Kaori dragged her cousin away by the hair, and walked towards both of their school bags, picked them up, and walked inside the school.

Kaori finally released her cousin when they were inside and in the hallway, and she swung his school bag on top of his head. She then released it and puffed her cheeks out. "You are such an idiot!" Kyo took his school bag, that was sitting on top of his head and rubbed his head in pain with the other hand. "What did I do now? Tami-chan just took it way too damn seriously, that's all." Kaori rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. "Didn't you know? Tami-chan is hella tough! She has brute strength, you dumb ass!" Kyo grabbed onto his stomach. "What, brute strength like you?" Kaori vein popped once more and punched Kyo on top of the head... Again. "Ow! What was that for?!" "I do not have brute strength!" "You do too!" "I do not!"
