Enhanced brain power; his mind capacity is by far larger than many of the other humans, and even on par with his professors back at home. This enhancement allows Vincent to remember many details, scrolls and books he has read in the past, and other daily life interactions. Not only is his brain capacity large, his memory retrieval time is also shortened compared to that of a normal human, and he rarely forgets anything at all.
Weapon
Though considered a scholar in name, many people tend to call Vincent a scoundrel or a rogue. This arose due to his proficiency with clubs and large cleaving axes, his strength at a high level due to his hard background.

Clothing
Vincent refuses to wear the garbs that apprentices at the School of Knowledge have to wear. He tends to roam around with a pair of black jeans, tattered and smudged due to his ways around Earth and frequent fights and stealing. His shirts are almost all tattered, due to his lack of care with them in general. All of them are black for no reason at all; Vincent rarely ever wears any color other than black, and even when ordered to wear a colorful garb, he either still goes in his normal clothes or dies the given clothes black, as he feels more safe in the shadows than in the light.
When by himself or around people he knows well- and especially in his private library-, Vincent tends to wear tattered tank tops, with smoke smudges all over them. Otherwise, Vincent tends to cover up his face, his face in the shadow of a hood, when interacting with others.
Appearance
Though he looks 30, Vincent is truly actually only 25 years old. His spiky black hair and otherwise rather hard stomach hints at his young age and young mindset. His scraggily beard and deep-set smile and frown wrinkles tend to hint at a darker background, or a longer lifespan, than what Vincent actually has.
Special Markings
Due to an experiment gone bad, Vincent lost both of his arms. He replaced his arms with two mechanical arms that react based on how he wants them to act, and both arms act almost as if real, though Vincent does crave that one day he might be able to re-grow his arms, or at least implant a system of touch sensors on his metal arms. Upon his chest, there are round circular tattoos, which signify the amount of years Vincent has been away from his family and home. Each circle represents five years. Other than that, Vincent has multiple wounds from past incidents with guards, rogue animals, and experiments.
Personality
Vincent is an extremely cheery fellow, well, his cheeriness leans more to the side of abandon then the type of happiness that entails flowers, sunshine and happiness. When forced to show up at events, Vincent tends to fall asleep in a corner, his hood covering his face and his feet on the chair in front of him, sometimes even snoring while the speaker is announcing whatever on the podium. Rarely has anyone ever seen him serious, except for his robotic helpers back at his condo, who see him working over the different gizmos and gadgets he loves to create, and while he pours over old novels with tattered pages that he stole from the national library about epic battles of old. Though Vincent is 25 by age, he acts as if he is 15, constantly throwing tantrums and having sudden mood swings when things donāt go his way.
At times, actually, at all times, Vincent is extremely snarky, even during times of near-death experiences. Laughs can be heard almost constantly from under his hood when he is with others, along with sexual innuendos and advances towards women and men alike. He has never known many boundaries, and really never follows any rules and goes with his own pace, with a bright mindset.
When agitated, Vincent tends to go into a panic, as he loves to have order in his life rather than chaos. At times like these, he reminds others what school he went to by flipping out books to read and find a solution to whatever problem he faces (though in his other hand he tends to hold a bottle of beer or wine).

Family / Relationships
Mother- Dorian: After Vincent accidentally blew up the small house the Velorien family lived in, his relationship with his step-mother went from bad to worse. But it didnāt matter much to him, anyways, as he was taken away by the School of Knowledge at the young age of 5 and never returned. She had never really liked the young boy anyways, as she had to take care of her own two children, and threw the young Vincent aside to his own business almost ever since day 1.
Father- Benson: Benson is a typical recycler who picks up gadgets and gizmos other people donāt need to resell to other vendors. Vincent has always had a good relationship with his father, as they both fooled around with the gadgets his father picks up at factories and the like, while Vincent actually built stuff and his father marveled at his sonās ingenuity. Benson was the one who informed the School of his sonās high level of intelligence, hoping to rise his son out of the lands of poverty they lived in.
Younger Brother 1- Julian: Julian and Vincent are on extremely bad terms. This isnāt due to the high amount of affection Benson lathers on Vincent, or due to their motherās influence; rather, the two just really didnāt like each other. Since young, Julian had an overbearing attitude that Vincent just could not stand at all. He has not missed him over the two decades heās been away.
Younger Brother 2- Lector: Vincent adores Lector. The young boy is the complete opposite of Julian and is compassionate and caring to almost everyone and anything he sees. The last time he visited, the machines Vincent had created to help himself around the lab almost left with Lector because of the amount of positivity they felt towards him. Vincent sends presents and letters to Lector every month, along with money to their father.
Professor Alek: the only person in the School who likes Vincent is professor Alek, also one of the oldest and most prestigious members of the board. After teaching Vincent in one of the most advanced classes in the School when Vincent was only 15, he had an instant interest and liking towards Vincent, who felt the same back to the old, bald man. Afterwards, they would commonly have tea with one another, discussing different war tactics and old relics with one another, while playing mind-stimulating games.
School Life
When Vincent entered the School at the age of 5, he was in awe at the wide spacious and bright buildings that faced him, though the complexes were mostly under ground. He listened to all his classes, including āMilitary Tacticsā, āChemistry 101ā, āAstrology 101ā and so forth with much zeal and enthusiasm. After class, many would hear the light pattering of his tiny feet and the sound of his robe dragging on the floor into the library to read books.
This all died when he reached the age of 13 and started becoming rebellious. He no longer listened to his professors, nor did he try to socialize with the older students who had shunned him for the past 8 years. Books and machines were his only solace in the closed off School, and so this forced him to think in another direction. He started skipping classes to run and visit the outside world, of nothing but tall, steel building surfaces, and try to trade information to earn money to send back home. To prove that Iām a grown up and old enough to leave this Hell Hole! he would think, but later on, the one time he was caught, he faced dire consequences. The beating and lashes left scars on his backs that were visible until he was 15 (during which he created a potion to cover up scars and aberrations to the skin).
After that, Vincent was further shunned by the rest of the people at the School. It came to the point that he was the laughing stock of many jokes, and some of the bolder students started to bully him, stealing books out of his lockers and breaking his inventions, though they couldnāt do much in class, as his work was still of high quality. Vincent smiled through all of this, and started to visit Professor Alec for tea and other activities, though later it turned into personal lessons in meditating, until one person stole the money he was about to send to his father back at home. This snapped the thinning amount of patience Vincent had, and he rampaged through the school until he finally found his money, the students who stole it piled in their own pools of blood.
Surprisingly, Vincent was not expelled, only due to Professor Alecās influence and his sheer smarts and reputation as a prodigy. However, his classes were cancelled, and he only had access to his condo, the library, and Professor Alecās room. But he really couldnāt give a damn anyways, and started to drink and smoke freely wherever he went throughout the school.
General History
Vincentās mother died during childbirth, only managing to whisper out his name to his father, who had manually helped her give birth to the young baby. This crushed Benson for a while before he met his second wife, Dorian, while Vincent was only a few months old. In succession, Dorian gave birth to Vincentās younger brothers, and forced Benson to estrange Vincent to only a few hours of machine building every week. On all other days, Vincent was forced to stay in his own cold room, and his room smelled of filth as no one ever took care of him, with his father too busy and his step-mother a barrier to any sort of fatherly or motherly care.
As noted above, at the age of 5, Vincent was carted off to the School of Knowledge, after his father had sent a secret note to the School heralding his sonās intelligence. As per the rules of the School, messengers came and examined the young boy (though their upper lips curled when they saw the dirty state the young boy was in, though Vincentās father tried to wash everything for the boy at least once a week). They deemed him above average in intelligence and accepted him into the School of Knowledge, during which Vincent spent the next twenty years in without much drama, or at least in his eyes it was so.
Recently, Professor Alec had called him to his office to talk to him about a 6-person exploration team and that the board had asked him to suggest a student of prime health and age to go as the ātacticianā, or so they called it. Professor Alec had chosen Vincent due to his smarts and his capabilities of protecting himself, as compared to the skinny, useless bookheads (so the Professor himself said) that dominated the School. Thus, Vincent was beamed off to the capitol to accept his position for the 6-people expedition to the other planets that the people on his planet could reach.
