Luna Anfang's Story

Elizabeth breathed in deep. The first time she was actually going to make some nice---try to make some nice conversation with other supernatural beings. She breathed in deep once again, and started to walk towards the Academy, her luggage in hand. She didn't have much, but what she could find over the past year...And the school uniform.
Elizabeth's steps were slightly sluggish, her feet nearly scraping against the pavement as she had gone forward.
"You better not screw this up..."
She had muttered to herself, remembering the crumpled piece of paper which stated her dorm room. She took it out, and sighed.
"Room 235. God help me if I have roommates."

Luna ran around the school, lost on her very first day of academy. She turned each corner hoping she would find the place she needed to be but never to her surprise, she got even more lost then she was before. Sighing, she pressed her back the wall and slid down to the ground. Closing her eyes, she listened to the sound of bags rolling and shoes tapping. When in her time of need, no one seemed to walk her path, making everything more difficult for her double Waldo game. For the most part, she was grateful for not having to drag heavy suitcases across the campus.

Luna had only one small satchel hanging from her shoulder that slightly sagged against the ground she sat on. But there was something different about it. Looking from the outside, the bag seems like it would only fit around five medium sized books but don't be fooled! It is bottomless! A gift given to Luna by her father before leaving off to the academy, something to wish her luck. Opening the bag, she stuck her arm, elbow deep, into the satchel and pulling out a map of the school. It was given to them once arriving but to her own damn fault, she arrived one day early.

Roaming around the school for 10 hours and sleeping on benches wasn't her first choice of lucky-go-fun academy time. Even with the map, her current location was still a mystery. Tossing it back into her bag, she pulled out a bag of cookies her sisters made for her and something she was surviving on for the past hour. All was left was a half eaten cookie and straggling cookie crumbs. "Yay my favorite." she said with a glum tone. Dumping the crumbs into her mouth, she held the plastic bag in her hand and slumped forward. "What if I die here, how will anyone find me?"

Now she was just over reacting until she heard something walking down the hall. It was something she found normal in the time she came, suit case wheels. Using the wall as her support, she moved herself up and waited for someone to appear. Standing there for a while, nothing seemed to move her way so she decided to investigate. Fixing her bag, she walked the way of the sound and it started to roar louder. It was now bouncing off the walls, until the boy appeared. A pale boy with a slightly glow of ora. Waving her arms like an SOS, she caught the boy's attention.

"Could you help me please?"

She smiled a bit more as she could felt that Hebi was holding her hand still. It was nice to have someone understanding her, even though the guy was very of a small talk. Although, she didn’t minded it at all. Even though the smile was a bit creepy, she didn’t mind it at all. Suddenly, another male entered into the dorm, who she figured that was Hebi’s dorm companion. She chuckled softly. “Hello there. I’m sorry for having invading your dorm. I just didn’t know it was the time of the year that students. I guess I should go welcome the rest, since most people don’t know where the dorms are.” She said, leaving Hebi’s grasp as she walked out of the room. She looked back at Benjamin with a smile: “Oh, by the way, my name is Lith.” And she walked away, now hearing more people talking.

The first day of school was always fun; there was new people to meet, and old people to remember about. Of course, she was one of the elder students, and knows the school like the bottom of her pockets, even though she never really used her pockets anyways. She walked down to the main hall, where she found two students. Lith was expecting more people there, or maybe they were already lost in the academy. She walked up to them, her tail fluttering behind her as usual.

“Hello there. It is always to see new faces around here.” She chuckled softly, tilting her head. “Say, welcome to Kolbs Academy. My name is Lith Arcesiris, but you can just call me Lith. I’m one of the oldest students here, so if you need help, just ask me.” She stopped her sentence to take a small breath. “Other than that, I’m really happy to meet you bolt (both).” When she realised her error in her sentence, she covered up her mouth as she gasped silently.

“Ah~ Sorry, I meant to say both.” She chuckled under her breath to herself, scratching the back of her head gently, knowing if she scratches too much, it would bleed.

He looked up at the door pointed out by the angel. "Ah, so it is. Thanks." He watched the angel walk away and frowned. He hadn't even given his name. Oh well, perhaps not the most social person? Not that he was one to judge. His nose twitched a little when he looked back to the red head. Sulfur? A demon then, and a strong one at that. Best not to get on her bad side. He pulled out the letter again and opened it, this time taking out the dorm key that had come with the letter. He turned it around in his hand once or twice before unlocking the door and walking in. It was large for a two person dorm, and suddenly he realized why. There was a third bed! Three person dorm! Not only did the faculty think him a woman, they lied about his dorm size! He would scream, but he'd already done that today. Instead he sighed and claimed a bed, laying his belongings on it as well. There wasn't much to his name. A wallet with his ID and a bus pass that'd take him anywhere in town, a wooden sword that never left his side, and.. actually that was it. Not even a change of clothes. Wait, what about his school uniform? They were supposedly provided in the dressers in their dorms. Curiously, he opened his dresser. This time he did scream. Then he began to sob. Most men would if their school expected them to wear a skirt. They really did think he was a girl! Suddenly, he realized something. If the school thought he was a girl, they'd probably give him female room mates! He blushed bright red at the prospect, grabbed his belongings, and ran out the the room. He HAD to get this straightened out!

He passed by, well more like stampeded through, a group of students he hadn't seen before on his mad dash through the hall, another red headed girl, a pale skinned one whose hair looked alot like his, and a male student who looked, well... Normal. That alone made him an oddity. Well he didn't have time to stop and chat, so he kept running, yelling as the stampeded the group "Excuse me! Sorry!" To the group, it must've looked quite odd. A young man that could've easily passed as a woman running down the hall, that appeared to have recently been crying. He kept running until he found a directory that told him where the office was. Apparently, it was on the side of campus he was just at. He growled an ran again through the hall, back through the unfamiliar group of students again saying "Sorry!", past his dorm, down the stairs and to the office.

Sera looked around at her new environment, the academy was on the rather large side, which she didn't mind. It would give her places to chill as well as hide from people who annoyed her. One of those people being her brother.
She looked beside her to see her brother munching on a packet of crisps as usual, she couldn't understand how he was capable of eating food. She tried it once and she was nearly ready to throw up. Yea she is able to actually eat food but she has trouble holding it down, it also makes her feel rather sick.
"How on earth do you eat that stuff Drake?" She asked him as she flicked some of her silver hair from he face then placing her hand upon her hip.
Drake turned to her with his usual goofy smirk on his face. " How can you not eat it?" He said with a smile.
This caused her to roll her eyes at him and his stupidity.
" I'm going for a walk... And possibly find my room see you later" She told him.
And with that she was gone in a flash. She ran past a group of people, but was to lazy to stop and stay hello, she just wanted to explore. She was about to run past the office when she smashed into the back of two people. And moving at the speed she was sent her, the boy as well as a young girl flying into a tumble.
Sera somehow landed in front of the boy on her knee's her silver hair covering her face.


Before Drake was even able to reply to his sister, she had all ready run off at a speed which should be illegal. She wasn't much for socializing that's what he was sure of.
Deciding he should go find his room as well as find out who his roommates where, he began to walk off towards the block where the dorms where. Once he got towards the dorm room's he could hear the sound of voice's. So quickening his pace he suddenly appeared next to a girl with red hair with a reptilian tail and in front of a girl with silver hair and a guy with blonde hair. " Anyone know where room 655 is?" He asked with a half smile revealing his fangs slightly.

Greg admired the definition of the long corridor, walking with appreciative, slow steps. He continued to bite onto his lip, nonetheless, letting his arm drop to the side as he pried it away from the wall. It was such an awe-inspiring school- however, his thoughts were blown off course as a female's voice echoed. He turned his head to add a voice to a face, watching as the female rushed towards him and waved her arms. She was a long haired girl with silvery, almost white hair- wow, he was almost tempted to refer to her as Snow White, but he figured that'd be sort of awkward. Yeah, it really would. She seemed to plea for help- and he wasn't so sure if he could help her. Even he himself barely knew where he was going, but he reasoned that he could maybe try.
The magenta-eyed boy stared at the female for a brief moment before he stepped forwards, faintly shrugging his shoulders. "I could try, but I can't guarantee you'll get somewhere with me. I'm not exactly best with directions, even though I have a map." It was a little bit after his response that another girl arrived, and she seemed to be more familiar with the school than them. That was a good thing- maybe she could show them around, however, Greg preferred to walk alone- and wow, so many things were happening at once. His blot pupils trailed after a young, feminine appearing boy that dashed past through them, screaming a brief apology like a scared cowboy in a rodeo show. He looked like he'd be crying though, so a bit of sympathy sent a pang into his calm heart. He was almost tempted to reach out and grab him, but he was way too fast, and he's afraid he'd end up slicing his arm off with race car speed. That would be unpleasant. So, he observed as the boy rushed past again, his lips collected into a line, his other hand sliding back into the ebony pockets of his sweatpants.
Briefly after, another male showed up- asking where his dorm was. Greg sort of perked up as 655 was addressed, looking to Drake with his usual nonchalant, laid-back expression. "That'd be my dorm." He announced, mouth curving into a hidden smile. "I'm assuming you're one of my room mates?" Wow, so many people in one area. It was sort of uncomfortable to him- to be surrounded by a group, since he certainly wasn't one for a crowd. He was a secluded boy, one of enigma- the exact epitome with a facade that veiled his short, explosive temper. So far, he wasn't mad at all. He still felt bad for the boy that appeared to be upset. Had he gotten picked on or something? Did he get hurt? He honestly didn't know, but he tried to brush it off. He had to focus on these people in front of him. He just hoped, inside, that Drake wasn't an annoying dimwit he'd have to share a dorm with. That, and he hoped his weird hand motions wouldn't freak anyone out. God, he really had to get rid of that habit before it became embarrassing like that one time his pants fell down at a mall. He kept forgetting to wear a belt. But, luckily, sweatpants didn't need belts. They were so comfy.

Luna smiled and bowed her head at the boy, "Thank you so-" She lifted her head to see a older girl with firey red hair coming to say hi, "Hello Lith, my name is Luna and this is uh." She pointed her finger to the pale boy, but wasn't even aware of his name. Before asking, another boy ran past them who seemed upset. Lifting a hand, he ran by to fast to be called out to. "That was strange, oh but what is your nam-" Another boy came up to them asking if they knew which was was his dorm. She clenched her hands, not knowing is he was upset at the fact that people keep interrupting her or once she found one person a ton came following after.

She slightly chuckled, "This is my luck.. I have been trying to look for someone to help me for the past 10 hours and I think I know where I am now." Pulling out her map, she heard other students call this the main hall. Looking up at the group, the two boys seemed to be roommates. "Oh so you found each other, that's so funny." She laughed and pulled out a small slip of paper from her pocket, "While we are at it, does anyone know where room 232 is?" Glancing back and forth, she stopped at Lith, knowing if anyone to ask it was her. Folding the paper, she slipped it back into her pocket and smiled. Knowing what to say once someone answered.

Lith walked passed him after saying a quick goodbye and he watched her go for a second before turning back to the young man.

"My name Hebi." The boy said and waved at Ben. Ben twirled his hair out of habit.

"I'm Ben," he said. "Looks like we are going to be roommates this year." He smiled and sat on the bed. Though moments ago he had wanted to disappear, he now felt happier for some reason. This boy, Hebi, seemed like a nice guy. His stomach rumbled and Ben realized that his appetite was back. "Would you like to come to the dining hall with me, I'm sure tat there are more new students there, besides the introduction ceremony will be this afternoon so everyone should be arriving."

Ben didn't know why he asked the boy to go with him, perhaps he was afraid that he would run into Patient 3 again. Or perhaps he just wanted a friend. He scratched his head. No, this would be the last person he would trust at this school. He could not trust anyone else. Ben stood and stretched his wings then looked at Hebi.

"Are you coming?"

Ben stepped out the door and began walking. While crossing the entrance corridor he ran into a group of people who all looked rather lost. He nearly stopped the ask if they needed help but decided not to and, blushing, he kept walking, hoping that Hebi had followed him.

Before the other two could respond to her she ran, it was as if she was never there, even if they did see her all they would be able to see would be a blur and a mess of silver hair.
Instead of causing anymore accidents she decided to find her brother first.
After searching the campus for a few seconds she finally found him with a group of people. Walking up towards them she kept her usual stern expression on her face.
"I see your eating as usual then" She spoke with a dull tone as she suddenly appeared beside him, it was as if she had teleported there.
Then looking around she noticed there were a few people. "Seem's your settling in fine" She said flashing him, her signature smirk.


"Guess we're roomie's then" Drake told Drake with a smile on his face. He then listened to what the girl said about the numbers and where his room should be. "Thanks" He said with a nod.

Suddenly his sister appeared beside him. Most people would of jumped with shock , but he was able to hear and sense her before she appeared.
Drake pouted when she mentioned him eating as usual. "I like food ok" He told her, as he took a bite of one of his potato chips.
Then he turned to her with an annoyed expression. "I don't see you trying to fit in though" Poking his tongue out at her slightly.
He then turned towards the people he was speaking to, "This is my younger sister. Sera." He said whilst flicking her forehead slightly.

Luna nodded nodded, "Yes I am Luna!"

To Luna's surprise, everything seemed to be falling into place, something she wasn't use to. She smiled at Lith's sudden burst of joy, happy to know she has just a lively person as a roommate. Looking at the other boys, she bowed her head and smiled, "Thank you, and I really hope to bump into you again." Something popped, she turned to her bag and pulled out a small cotton bag that was tied up with string. "My mother said to give these to people I liked." Pouring whatever was in the bag into her hand.

Small stones that had parts of the sky trapped into it, real glowing stars. They glistened in her hand as she rolled them around a bit, each had a different shape. "They are small tokens, here take one." Taking out two stones, she placed them in the boy's hands. "Good luck, and don't kill each other!" Skipping off, she followed Lith to the room they were going to share. "Cesieal, what a pretty name." She smiled and slowly walked in, examining everything. "Oh!" She turned back to her and showed her the stones.

"Here you go." Handing her one of the stones before slipping the rest into back into the bag. Placing her satchel on the bed, she sat at the end and listened to Lith. She nodded, "You can ask anything you like, I love to answer questions! I might just have some for you. And don't worry, I find it a bit hard to talk to other people to." She thought for a moment, and was confused. Looking to the side, the simple uniform caught her eye as Lith started to talk about them. She lifted it up and looked at each piece.

Luna nodded, "I understand what you mean, there is no way you can alter it to fit what you need?" It was a bit plain for Luna's taste but she could see why Lith didn't like it. "I bet you can make it your own thing! Change it up only a little, something that you feel comfortable with." She placed the uniform down, and crossed her legs, "So you stay here even when school is out? Where is your family?" She didn't want to struck anything bad, "I'm sorry. If you don't want to talk about it, you don't have to."

Luna smiled and found Lith's story very fascinating, "That is incredible.. People seem so nice here, enough to take in a young child and raise it as their own." She twiddled her thumbs and thought for an answer to Kith's question, "I guess since we are a bit different than everyone else it's more of a learning experience about fitting in." Kicking her feet, she looked up at the ceiling, "The world is huge. So many cultures, foods, clothes, and environments it's overwhelming." Looking back down at Lith, she smiled, "It's beautiful, knowing that somewhere, even though you're unusual or different, there is a place for you to live in harmony. Like this school! It's comfortable to know that I can make a mistake, magic wise, and not be scared of judgement or ridicule."

She stopped the motion of her feet and bent back into her bed, "You have no idea how big this world is until you experience with your own eyes." Folding her hands into her arms, she closed her eyes and took a deep breathe. The distant sound of noise was comforting, to know she wasn't alone. "Your family, had they left any sign of who they are? A pendant or maybe a letter? Do you have any sudden memories of your past before the academy?" Pulling her legs straight, she propelled her upper body up in a swift moment. "If so, then you're one step closer to finding who you really are!" Something like this always excited her, adventure. Even with a dead end, Luna would always find a way around it even if that meant starting from the beginning.

Drake watched in silence as the scene in the cafeteria ended. Grabbing Sera's arm he dragged her over towards where some of the other students were sat.
Pushing her down on the seat he placed his hands on her shoulders. Holding her there. "Hi, would you mind if she sits with you. If she goes to run spray her with a bottle of water" He smiled to the bunch of them. "Her name's Sera by the way." And with that he dissapeared in a flash.
He suddenly appeared outside his dorm room, walking in he spotted two boys in there. One that he had all ready met, along with a boy he hadn't met who had pink hair. "Yo" He waved at the pair as he walked into his dorm.
As he walked in the room he noticed there was a dragon in the middle of the room, with fur on it. "You see the dragon to right?" He questioned.


She suddenly fely herself being dragged away by her brother, and he forced to sit on a table witha bunch of people she did not know.
"Hi, would you mind if she sits with you. If she goes to run spray her with a bottle of water" Her eyes widened in fear as he said spray her with a bottle of water. Did he want her to kill him?
As Drake left he cased a slight gust of wind causing her long hair to swish to the side slightly.
Her expression remained the same as she looked over everyone. Sensing each of their species. One of the gifts with being a vampire is that you can tell what people are by their aura's. Well she could along with some higher up's could. Her brother on the other hand, they still questioned if he was an actual vampire.
Sucking on her straw, she remained silent as she watched the others converse.

Luna smiled as Lith extended her arm out with the star pendant, something that could lead to who her family really was. Picking it up, she examined it's every inch but shook her head slowly, "I don't know who or where this came from." Looking at indication, something struck her, "I know!" She gave the Chinese character pendant back and leaped off her bed. "You see, once I was in my father's library-" she opened her bag and began to dig through it, "and I found this book about pins. It told you where each pin came from, their meaning and who it belonged to." She took out a small slip of paper, "I tore this page out, a crescent moon shaped pin."

Luna showed her the page, a small elephant pin sat dead in the center and was surround by text. Each labeled, Origin, Meaning, How Many Left, Owner. "I know this isn't yours, but if you think about it.. There is a chance the pin might be in this book! If so, it will tell you everything you need to know." Luna smiled and looked down at her pocket, pulling out a rusted elephant with the same designs as the one in the torn page. "It was something I found a long time ago, and I plan to find it's owner." She smiled and slipped it back into her pocket. "There is a library here, do you think the book might be there. If no, I can always just as my father for it."

Luna smiled and nodded, skipping her way to the door. "You must be the lead, I literally have no idea where I am going." Throwing her back over her shoulder, she opened their door and walked out. Stopping, she waited for Lith to follow after. "I want to get a general idea of the school.." she pulled out her map once more and marked down spots she knew for sure. With a red pen, she made a continuous line to their room and the spot they met in the main hall. Luna's eyes scanned the map, until halting on a part of the map that was labeled library. Turning the map around to it's appropriate side, she looked up at Lith, "Looks like the library is all the way across, we have a lot of walking to do." By this time, she assumed Lith already knew but was just starting the obvious.

"Let's go!" Luna was excited, hoping her question weren't going to get them into any sort of trouble. She stopped and looked at Lith, "Have you ever thought of the idea that the people here already know where you come from. They are just trying to keep it away from you?" If that was the case, then everything leading to her parents would either blocked or destroyed. She crossed her fingers, wishing that wasn't the case.

Lith nodded and smiles, quickly followed her to the door, walking out with her. “Don’t worry. Many people don’t know much about the school on their first day either.” She chuckled to herself as she looked at the map. She knew where the library was as she was leading the duo there. She didn’t say anything when Luna told her that the library was straight on the other side of the campus. She was happy to see that there was more people around now; it started to get boring around here for her.

However, Luna stopped and asked Lith another question. She turned around towards her, tilting her head as she put a hand under her chin while thinking. “No… Well, yes… Maybe. I don’t really know.” She shrugged after she said that. “To be honest with you, they do have their own secrets.” She looked around, making sure no one of the staff were around. She approached a bit closer, whispering into Luna’s ear: “I know that there is a secret place in the library where they hide books and boxes that the students aren’t normally allowed to access.” She chuckled a bit, stepping back. “Let’s go!” She said more happily as she turn around, walking faster to the library.

Michael chirped happily as he was patted on the head, swaying his tail happily. Even though he was a teen now, he was still a child. It always felt good for him to get patted gently. It was comforting for him, especially because of the wolf sitting across of them. Even though Sera said that the wolf is more defensive, the little dragon couldn’t help but think that he wouldn’t last long against that being.

When Drake said that if they wanted to go do something, Michael nodded. “Yes… I would like to do so.” He glanced up at Greg with his purple eyes, wondering if he would join on what the vampire proposed to them. He wondered what the guy does have in mind. After all, Michael was only a small dragon for now, and he was oblivious if Drake knew he could shape shift.

Luna pulled back the urge to ask, her adventurous side was slowly seeping out. She simply nodded and looked back at the map, walking the way of the mental map she created. Looking up, she thought for a moment, What kind of things to they hide? What would they have to hide? Shaking her head fast, she pulled her focus on the map once more and continued on. "This place is a huge maze. Everything on the map looks the same." Tilting the map to match their current angle she turned the corner than hooked the map under he arm.

Just talking about simple things, they lost the mark of time and eventually made it to the library. She stopped and laughed, "Wow we are already here. That seemed pretty quick~!" Folding the map complete, she sipped it in her pocket and turned to Lith. "Now let's go find that book!" Slipping into the library, her eyes floated to the top floor. Her mouth almost fell off, realizing how many books were actually in the Library. "This is impossible, how do we know where to start??" A nervous stutter slipped from her mouth, but she popped back into her happy self.

Almost regretting to say it, Luna's temptation engulfed her, "Let's go into that secret part of the library. If they wanted to hide something from you.. they would have stored the link somewhere students can't enter." Looking around, she sighed in relief to see non of the staff was near. "What do you think?" If she told this idea to anyone else, she knew they shoot her it down. But Luna knew what one person would put themselves through to know the truth. "If you don't think you can do it Lith, just tell me where it is and I will check! I have nothing to lose!"
