Setting
The kingdom of Aramis is a healthy-sized kingdom, it's natural boundaries making it hard to conquer from the outside, and it's fertile land and resources making it prime for commerce. The heart of the kingdom is mostly forest and plains, it's capital built upon a small mountain surrounded by a small range. Aramis is human dominated; it’s royal family is human and most of the residents are human as well, though the sight of a fae or dragon isn’t one that is unusual (humans and non-humans, however, don’t often intermarry, due to the wide margin between lifespans). Like most kingdoms, Aramis is ruled by a King. It’s Queen, however, passed away fifteen years ago due to a tragic accident during one of her many spontaneous trips throughout the kingdom. As such, the children have not been allowed outside the boundaries of the capital (the city itself and the surrounding area) without guarded escort and some notice before the trip. Until the wedding occurs, the Bandit Lords are forced to adhere to the same boundaries, something that will take getting used to, considering the large amounts of land they had claimed before the peace talks occurred.
