Setting
Aramis is human dominated; it’s royal family is human and most of the residents are human as well, though the sight of a fae or dragon isn’t one that is unusual (humans and non-humans, however, don’t often intermarry, due to the wide margin between lifespans). Like most kingdoms, Aramis is ruled by a King. It’s Queen, however, passed away fifteen years ago due to a tragic accident during one of her many spontaneous trips throughout the kingdom. As such, the children have not been allowed outside the boundaries of the capital (the city itself and the surrounding area) without guarded escort and some notice before the trip. Until the wedding occurs, the Bandit Lords are forced to adhere to the same boundaries. Not that it matters; the area is massive and there are plenty of places to explore.
