The shinigami didn't seem fazed by Liz's statement, but said, "I'm somewhat surprised at how calm you are upon meeting me, although I'm one of the more normal looking shinigami. Well, normal by human standards." His eyes widened a little bit. "Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. How rude of me." He then gave a polite bow. "My name is Raiden, the owner of the Death Note in your hands. I've written the rules as how to use the note book, but if you have any questions feel free to ask."

Dalton sat at his house, waiting for what seemed like an eternity. What was he waiting for? His shinigami, who hadn't been around for the past hour and a half. From what Dalton understood, this wasn't normal. But, there's nothing he could do, so he watched as more the announcers were baffled by this 'Kira'. He laughed every time they mentioned it. It was something he made up, just to fuck with the authorities. "Kira" would no longer be killing anybody. Or at least he didn't think so. If Dalton were to get mugged however...

He sat back into his chair and watched the T.V flicker.

"Don't feel the need to justify your actions to me." Raiden said, "To be honest, I don't really care if he deserved it or not. That's probably your job, seeing as how your the one with a death note, or you could just kill aimlessly. It doesn't matter one bit to me."

(Kitsune, Commotion is going to be starting a task force of detectives to find and catch Kira).

Just then Dalton's television, along with everyone else's in that region changed to a news woman sitting at her desk, she seemed a little shaken up about the situation, but said, "We're sorry to interrupt your scheduled program, but this is a message for all of Japan, and involves the investigation of the criminal known as 'Kira'." Just then the picture changed to a man sitting at a desk with a name plate in front of him, reading 'James C. Mueller'.

"Hello, my name is James C. Mueller, otherwise known as the detective 'Commotion'." The man said with complete seriousness. "Kira, I think I know what you're trying to accomplish with these killings, but I can tell you that what you're doing is wrong. You might think that you're doing some kind of greater justice, but you're not, in fact you're pure evil. Just a child pretending to play hero, but you're way over your head. I came here on television to tell you personally that I'm coming for you."

Frederick - Top-pop Radio, Shizuoka

The notebook was pretty normal, standardized A-4 pages all with lines for writers to write notes. Upon the cover was written "Death Note" in large letters. Inside was nothing but blank papers and on occasion a crumpled page with an ink-spot. Frederick flipped through the pages, annoyed by the plain boring nature of the notebook.
"Who would even buy something like this!?" he exclaimed, trying to get anyone to take interest. At least he'd get some attention.
Of course none cared. Most employees had stopped talking to him unless he directly asked them for something. Their way of defending themselves against his arrogance and spoilt behaviour.
"Might as well make a black Death Note book over those whom I'll work to destroy." he said mockingly. "Let's start with my boss, mister Ryuzaki Nokaku." he said, scribbling the name down. The slightly overweight mr. Ryuzaki Nokaku had been the manager of the Top-Pop division for more than 5 years and before that he'd been manager for the national radio in Tokyo. A well versed and professional 65-year-old, and the first person who'd gotten into a clinch with Fredrick when he'd first been hired by the board in Tokyo. They hated each other fiercely, but kept professional appearances outwards. Not sure if they were able to get enough backing to send the other scurrying out of the company.

"Who's next then?" he pondered for a moment, looking at the radio crew who were eating their sandwiches at the cafeteria, smalltalking about their wives and lives. At the management's own table Ryuzaki was about to start his meal, lamb chops with Italian inspired tomato sauce and half a flûte was prepared for the feast. But instead of eating, Ryuzaki was just sitting there, staring expressionlessly. Then he began hissing, a hand sliding up on his breast as he tried to rise. He was failing terribly, toppling over onto the table, before he gave up and his hands rolled down, hanging lifelessly from the table.
Someone screamed, a woman, then all hell broke loose as some of the people from the crew ran over and started pumping his chest, trying to give a proper heart massage, even though none of them had taken the course. It'd been paid for by the comapny last year, but it'd been laid in off-hours, so no one had turned up.

After a minute or so in grave silence, someone looked up. "He's dead." it was almost incredible. Too good to believe, finally his boss was dead, only minutes after he'd wished for it... and written it in the notebook...
Frederick looked at the notebook, judging whether or not he should believe in some crazy coincidence or if he just killed his boss by writing his name in some notebook he just found... Neither of the two were likely. He'd have to test it again. Someone whom he could confirm rather quickly...

The choice fell upon Mizuki Haoro. A girl who'd chosen to act up at a pre-party he'd been to with one of the upcoming pop-artists. He'd ended up being thrown out from the party, having to take the walk of shame home afterwards was the most humiliating thing he'd ever done. The wench clearly deserved to die.
As most around him panicked, calling the civil services, Fredrick quickly scribbled the name, Mizuki Haoro. He knew she'd go live in Hakodate in 20 minutes, some media coverage of the happening was bound to be present, they'd tell him if he really could kill people like this...

He left the room quietly as the siren from an ambulance came nearer. He walked down the aisle to his office, painfully slow, as if the world had chosen to turn slower just to torment him. When he entered his office, he closed the door and locked the door, before he turned on his tv. The reporter was a young man in a tight suit, it was obviously his first time live and he was... actually doing pretty good for a beginner...
"And today a pair of criminals committed suicide after committing their sins to a certain "Kira" person. As of now the police do not have any comments, but the two criminals seem to have some sort of connection which we must presume is currently being investigated. Is this the work of a mastermind murderer or is it just two lunatics? Come back at the nine'o'clock news, where we'll be interviewing the police chief live..." His facial expression suddenly changed, not really used to being interrupted by the news crew. "Uhmmm, it seems something has happened at the Hakodate Music Festival." the young man said, his face suddenly very stern and serious. "It seems the main attraction, the young pop-artist Mizuki Haoro has had a stroke just before she should be on stage..." he stopped again. A painfully long moment for Fredrick who couldn't help but grin like a hyena. "It is now confirmed that Mizuki Haoro is dead... To follow up on the news of today, click over to our other channel Top-News 2 or go to TopNews.jp. My name is Itchigu Kakano, signing off." the young man said, before the outro music started playing.

Fredrick's eyes were wild, staring at the instrument of destruction in his hands. He hurriedly threw a jacket over his shoulders, his trenchcoat was fashionable and mysterious, made by a smalltime designer in Tokyo, it was unique with large pockets on the inside, large enough for his iPad or in this case, the Death Note.
He then unlocked his door and hurried out into the reception where people were looking at the Ambulance which had just arrived. No one was questioning his leaving... not that anyone really cared for where he went anyways.
"Hmmm... I can murder people by writing their names... Yet I don't know if they can trace it... better wait a day before I try it out again I guess." he mumbled to himself as he walked down the street. The radio station was placed in the industrial part of town, close to the harbour and the small airport, but also surrounded by factories. Most of them were producing hardware, a single of them was making dashboards for Suzuki, but it was only a small plant, the major one located in Hiroshima.
"I guess I can finally start cleansing this world of evil? Or I could just hide it..." he pondered, before he grinned, "I think it's going to be the first. Not in a million years would I pass this. I've just been granted the power over life and death..."

He could already see the airport, it'd be an hour or two before he was home, and then he'd have to find out just what was happening with this new notebook of his...

Ryan had left the police station, and currently was wandering around Kumomi. He was on his way back to his apartment, his Ipod blaring in his ears. He had his hands inside the pockets of his black slacks and was staring at the ground thinking. He had just left the site of one of the suicides, he had been investigating. He figured that was the best place to start, seeing as chief hadn't exactly given him very much information.

---When Ryan arrived there was still police tape and a chalkline around the scene. Street dwellers gathered around to watch, but many were shooed away by beat officers. The medical team, and CSI team had come and gone, now the place was pretty empty. This was good, he didn't like nosey officers and paparazzi cramping his investigation. As he moved around the crime scene listening to his music he scanned every single piece of matter for any clues.

On the ground, beneath the top half of the chalk line, a blood stain remained. The detective nealed down and assesed the stain. Nothing special here. He moved on. nothing else substantial existed in the area. Just garbage and scraps of newspaper. He flipped open his notepad, in which he had copied the chiefs notes. He ran the information through his head trying to make sense of it all.

"The man had no previous signs of suicidal behaivior," he said aloud to himself. "He was a criminal, but didnt seem to be cognitively impaired, just a common thief." He flipped his page. "before firing, he shouted that all who opposed Kira would be killed. He then fired a bullet into his head." Ryan shut his book frustratingly. "If this is anything other than some crazy bastard wanting an audience for his suicide, I'll shave my head." he growled to himself as he left the scene.---

He was almost back to his house when something unsusual happened. He couldn't hear anything over the music, but everyone on the street was staring at a huge flatscreen on the side of a building. Ryan raised an eyebrow and looked up to the screen, which showed a man sitting at a desk, sporting a name tag. He curiously tugged his earphones out and began to listen.

"Hello, My name is James C. Mueller." Ryan started walking away uninterested. It was probably just some reality show. "Kira, I think."

Ryan halted. "Kira?" He repeated. He spun on his heels and watched the man again. Could this man have something to do with the suicide, and was he just bragging now?" "No, this man is accusing." Ryan had heard of Commotion before, but he couldn't believe this man was him. Commotion is way too underground for him to give his real name. Ryan rubbed his chin. "I've got to find this guy." He has something to do with Kira, and Ryan was going to find out what.

"BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Panku couldn't control how hard he had been laughing. He was holding his sides and tears were coming from his eyes. He was floating above a crowd who had just been watching an interview on the jumbo screen downtown. The man who had just been talking was some guy who called himself 'Commotion'. He said his real name was James C. Mueller. He could see his name as clear as day floating above his head. Along with how much time he has left. It was funny, really. How much power humans thought they had over themselves. They truly believed it was their idea to slit their own wrists or jump off of a bridge. It was really quite pathetic how important they believed themselves. Quite honestly, Panku just found it hilarious. Especially this new guy, Commotion. Now he was a hoot. Believing that it would truly be him who catches Dalton. Oh, how wrong he truly was......it was almost funny. Panku had decided he had been here long enough.

He calmed himself down and wiped away his tears. After catching his breath, he grew massive wings and flew off in the opposite direction. The city flew by underneath him like the entire thing was on a treadmill. He soon came upon Dalton's house. He refolded his wings and dove straight through the wall. He was now in Dalton's room, sitting criss-cross hanging upside down in the air above him. He then quickly lowered his face to be directly in front of Dalton's. He then yelled. "BOO!" He then flew backwards, laughing his manic laugh, holding his stomach once again. He then composed himself and landed on his floor. His boots making no sound as they hit it. "So.......what are you going to do about Commotion?"

"Laugh at him." Dalton replied. "It's not like they can catch me. No, they won't catch me. Calling me 'childish'? That won't work. I'm not that kind of guy." Dalton let out a laugh. He was used to Panku trying to scare him, guess it was some sort of game for him, but after the first thousand times, he wasn't surprised anymore. "I mean, I could kill him right now if I wanted had that even been his real name, but this guy's a detective, quite famous I might add. He's known worldwide. He thinks I'm some random murderer? I'll prove him wrong. I'll start by not killing him. I mean, he hasn't done anything wrong, so I see no reason to kill him." Dalton sat back. Surely this guy had more to say than "I'm going to find you."

((Ah, yes! Thank you, Tomoya. Though my character isn't necessarily a detective...but then again, neither was Light. XD))

Natsumi sat in her room, petting her cat Mi-Mi. Her mind was still focused on this whole Kira thing, and it gave her a bad feeling. She sighed and went to turn off the TV when it flipped to a news channel.

"We're sorry to interrupt your scheduled program, but this is a message for all of Japan, and involves the investigation of the criminal known as 'Kira'."

As soon as Natsu heard "Kira" her attention was immediately on the television screen. Her entire demeanor changed from somewhat relaxed to completely anxious and alert.

The woman on screen was soon replaced by a man sitting at a desk. "Hello, my name is James C. Mueller, otherwise known as the detective 'Commotion'. Kira, I think I know what you're trying to accomplish with these killings, but I can tell you that what you're doing is wrong. Natsu did a little celebratory clap before becoming serious again.

"Finally!!! SOMEBODY gets it! I have to call Yuki and rub this in her face......"

"So...Carlos..." The red haired man began. "Where is your employer?"

The large man across the table stayed stagnant. He wasnt moving. An Immovable object. A stone house. A tank. An asshole. Extraordinaire paced the room with his hands behind his back, sporting a happy grin. He knew this interrogation was going to be a little difficult, but no worries... This was an art form. He had to play, to be a puppetmaster for the puppet across the table from him. He had to get the big lug to speak. If not just an insult, or a threat. He needed a sound to escape the mans lips. Extraordinaire was a constant buzzing that would never go away. An annoying cricket that you just cant kill. An unstoppable force.

When an Unstoppable force, meats an Immovable object, nothing good can come of it. Ex spun around and faced the man. "Carlos? whats the matter? I'd love it ever so much if you were to talk to me" he said in a sad voice. "I feel as if weve grown apart." he frowned and turned back to his pacing. He was just about to speak again when his cell phone rang. He cursed to himself and pulled it from his pocket. Before answering he turned to his guest. "I'm sorry dear, you'll have to excuse me." he smiled and slammed the heavy door, leaving the interrogation room.

"Yyyyeesm?" Ex answered.

"I have a case for you" said a dark voice on the other end of the call. Ex smirked and switched the phone to his other ear. "What kind of case mystery contact?" he swooned.

"A possible serial killer is under investigation in Japan." Ex raised his eyebrows. "Japan?!, Brother I don't know what youve heard, but I live in North America. thats a bit of a journey, and I'm kind of in the middle of something" he stepped to the door and was about to hang up. "Sorry friend, maybe next time."

"Commotion is on the case." the voice informed.

Ex stopped dead. He looked at the phone quizically, and returned it to his ear. "Uhhh. come again pal?"

"Commotion is on this case." Ex grinned.

---------------

A day and a half later Ex steps off the continental flight from Honolulu Hawaii to Kumomi Japan. Suprisingly he had never been to Japan before. Ex smiled and drug his bag down the sidewalk. There were so many people, he couldn't believe it. He was lost, he was totally and utterly lost. He had no idea where to go or what to do, so when in doubt.... go buy a drink. He spotted a sake bar a few blocks down. "There we go!" he smiled in anticipation and strolled happily into the bar. He sat at the table and ordered a drink, as his eyes focused on the television above the bar. "Wonder what they have on T.V in Japan Land. the show didn't have a chance to start before a special report flashed across the screen, followed by a man at a desk. The man said whe was Commotion and he was coming after Kira. Ex couldv'e laughed out loud at that rediculous joke. This guy wasn't Commotion. Nevertheless he waited to see what he had to say.

"Kira, I know your watching this broadcast, and I have some advice for you; give up. You're not even in the same league as a real detective like myself, if you were, you wouldn't need to kill to provide justice. For someone as screwed up as you to think he can provide justice, you need serious help." The man calling himself Commotion said with a condescending tone, "Turn yourself in to the authorities, don't worry they've dealt with psycho paths like yourself before. They'll know what to do with you."

"This guy is really angry." he laughed. "Psycho? We'll see...." he thought of something. "Why don't I actually make this a thing?" he asked himself, though he was sure Panku could hear him. "How fun would it be to kill criminals daily, Panku? I could end the worser criminals and that should drop the crime rate. Who wants to die? I mean, everyone is selfish, even I am." he hopped onto his laptop, and searched in 'Japan's most wanted'. A list of men and women, all of whom had killed appeared. He picked one that had killed at least eight people and had comitted rape. Luckily, the guy was last seen hiding in Kumomi.

Mikami Koruni. Dies after shouting "Our lord, Kira, only kills the unjust! Suck it, Commotion!" in the middle of a busy intersection.

Dalton laughed at the last part. Sure, it was a bit childish, but it was a response. He waited to see how "Commotion" responded.

James Mueller looked off from the camera pointing to him, the head of the studio stood up from his desk and held up a piece of paper that read, 'Murder yells Our lord, Kira, only kills the unjust! Suck it, Commotion! Before being hit by a speeding bus.'

Mueller smiled, "Finally, my job's done now, right?"

The station switched to a white screen with the word COMMOTION across it. "Hello, Kira." A voice said, clearly a filter was used so the voice could not be identified. "Thank you for cooperating with us. I was begging to think that you wouldn't respond to my message. But you pulled through for me. This man named James C. Mueller is not Commotion, in fact he's a death row inmate. You had no way of knowing that, seeing as how he was captured in secret. So even Kira doesn't have information unless the public is aware of the crimes. Interesting." The man said, his voice seemed rather calm. "The point of all this was to figure out that you were in Kumomi. The News lady said that it was for all of Japan, but in actuality, it was only broadcasting in Kumomi. And know that I have a response out of you, I'm sure you were able to see it. Also, with Mikami Koruni's statement, I may now a little more about the kind of person you are." Commotion seemed like he was done speaking, but then asked, "I had almost forgotten, about James Mueller, would you have killed him if you had known about his crimes? Oh well, I suppose I'll ask you once I've caught you. Good bye, for now, Kira." Then the televisions changed to their regular programs.

"Well, shit. Guess he wasn't as dumb as I thought. Though..." he smiled.

James Mueller. Dies by heart attack after saying....

Dalton wrote down a longer bit of dialogue for his victim.

Suddenly, the criminal stood up and started his final words.

"Commotion. I see I have underestimated you a bit. I must say, I admire your tactics. Tricking me like that? Brilliant. But I must warn you: Do not underestimate me. I prefer that only those who are unjust to be killed by my hand, but I won't hesitate to kill you if need be. That being said, good luck. And to answer your question, yes. Now that I'm aware of his crimes, he dies. Say goodbye...." The man fell over dead within a few seconds after finishing his lines.

"That guy, Commotion... He's smart. I'll have to be more careful if I want to win... He still doesn't know how I kill, so we're good for now." Dalton's normal disposition disappeared. He closed himself into thought. "So Panku..." he began. "If I end up getting caught, you plan on offing me, right?" he already knew the shinigami's response. "At least make it funny." he smiled again. In his heart, he knew he'd win. He was justice, after all...

Variel was securing back the long, pink locks that she had dyed and styled earlier of a past two and a half hour in the morn', trying to maintain a natural look to it, and despite the obvious shade of pink that would make her stand out amongst the crowd of typical Japanese people who had dark hair and dark eyes, she merely smiled as she pulled on the hood jacket that she was wearing a bit more, and added more mascara to her lashes that framed the pair of vibrant blue contacts that she was wearing from the makeup bag that she carried on her at all times. Putting the mp3 player device in her manicured hands gently from her pockets as she did with placing the buds in her ears, Variel slightly adjusted her bangs.

Stepping back from the reflection of the mirror of someone's car, she greatly appreciated the final result after slightly fixing it up. "Well, Hiromi Tatsuke, you must keep up your appearance," she muttered, adjusting the black headband, "after all, it isn't in your character to appear so messy in public, is it?" Ignoring the way that passerby pedestrians stared at her oddly and miffed at how she was fixing up her appearance in public, using a car while in a busy part that led to the metro, and merely continued smiling as she headed on out further on the sidewalks. Despite the lack of music coming from her ear buds, she hummed a children's nursery rhyme in muffled French, seeing as she kept her lips tightly shut.

..Hiromi should be walking straighter. She adjusted her walking posture, and moved with a more confident gait, but was snapped out of her rapidly moving thoughts when the large screens and advertising boards that were placed throughout in an electronics store that she was about to pass by was suddenly tuning in to a different broadcast of a news castor woman (Dear Lord, her makeup's simply atrocious. 'Hiromi' thought to herself, keeping silent as the crowds of people slowed and stopped to what they were doing, watching with keen interest and crowded themselves around her.) "We're sorry to interrupt your scheduled program, but this is a message for all of Japan, and involves the investigation of the criminal known as 'Kira'." Just then the picture changed to a man sitting at a desk with a name plate in front of him, reading 'James C. Mueller'.

"Hello, my name is James C. Mueller, otherwise known as the detective 'Commotion'." The man said with complete seriousness.

What? This is 'Commotion? 'Hiromi' was temporarily forgotten as Variel slightly slouched into a more nature and more accustomed posture that she was used to as she slowly slipped from her acting facade, eyes firmly set on watching the television. Why would a world-renown that even I've heard of, appear on television himself? Surely, showing his face would give him a disadvantage, wouldn't it? She pondered, but another thought came along, voicing an opinion that was slightly more arrogant, he must have a very good incognito disguise, or a professional who does that for him. She folds her arms over close to her chest. ... But then again, that's a risk as well. She decides to stop thinking as she tries to catch the rest of whatever it was that the man who was appearing on the screen was saying.

"... over your head. I came here on television to tell you personally that I'm coming for you." Variel gave a sharp, inconspicuous grunt, breathing out air from her nose, head tilting upwards as she continued to watch. The man continues to speak in a justified matter, but then there's a moment of pause, and there's a faint sound of shouting from a distance away from here, but she isn't one of the few who turns to see what it was, or runs away to see what was going on some streets away. She's frowning slightly as she focuses deeply on the screen. There's no sound that's coming out when 'Commotion' tilts his head slightly and then says something. She's taken aback when the television's screen is suddenly switched to that of a white screen with the word COMMOTION across it. She blinks several times as the real Commotion is speaking through a filtered voice, and Variel watches in a slight awe.

From that crazy stunt, he was able to deduce that the killer's here in Kumomi? .. The man lives up to his namesake's reputation. She stands there briefly, trying to understand exactly what just happened as the television then changes to their regular programs, and people begin frantically talking or whispering to their companions, or just merely walk away in scatter emotions. It's several minutes before she too begins to walk away, slowly reversing back into her role as her spine straightens with every step and her her head is being held high. This world's really messed up with both gifted and crazy people.. Variel didn't want to admit that she felt slightly a bit of a hypocrite thinking that, but thinks nothing but of it as she continues her way home to her rented apartment. She doesn't feel very safe, but, then again, who did, in this current situation of the world? Kira must be one crazy guy as well..

(Feel like interacting with someone...)

"Well, I'm not letting this dude scare me, come, Panku! We shall engage in various activities! What will they be, you ask? I have no clue, but like I heard in a song once, everything gets hotter when the sun goes down!" he packed his wallet, MP3 and his Death Note into his pockets. His jeans had a zippable right pocket. This is where his Death Note usually lied.

After locking up, he left towards the city. It was about twenty minutes before he reached the city district. Hopefully, he'd find something to do. Occasionally, Commotion entered his mind, but that was shooed away after a few seconds. If he wanted, Dalton could stop bring "justice" and Commotion would never be able to find him. Though, that'd make him the winner, and Dalton wasn't going to have that.

He popped his earphones in one ear at a time before continuing on. Ironically, he just past the location where one of his "followers" had just been hit by a bus. There were a few cops around, trying to find evidence, but of course, they produced no results. Dalton laughed (in his head) at the fruitless search.

Countless minutes later, (Countless because Dalton wasn't paying much attention) he bumped into something or someone. A flash of pink was all Dalton saw as he fell back. "Oww..." he muttered before jumping on his feet. "Are you okay?" he asked. (I shouldn't have to tell you guys who I bumped into.)

((XD))

She had been deeply brooding in her thoughts, barely glancing at anything other than moving along to the familiar lure of her having gone down this very same street over and over again due to great habit once having been settled here in this district. However, Variel wasn't expecting to be so out of it that she's bump into someone, with a force strong enough to have her fall back, (Ah, 'Hiromi' would let out a small sound of surprise here, she subconsciously thought) and lets out a high-pitched cry of surprise, "wah!" Her arms fell up slightly, efficiently having her drop her mp3 player. She hears a slight crack when it hits the ground, and grunts as her bum hits concrete. She's rubbing her head a bit (thank goodness that she decided to dye it, because she wouldn't have thought of ensuring that a wig wouldn't come off, other than how she's be too hung up over how fake a wig would've looked.) before she looks up to the guy whom she ran into.

"Are you okay? He asks. (Hiromi should be pleasant here, and act as if it was nothing.)

"Oh, no, it's fine!" She laughs, speaking with fluency despite the light tone of an accent that was barely there unless you listened very carefully, as she was helping herself up. She appears taller than she should, due to the overall outfit of rolled up jeans and very thick wedge heels that gave her some extra height, bringing her up to a full 3 inches, though it wasn't much in terms of what seemed to be. 'Hiromi' looks at the stranger, looking over his very normal qualities but can immediately tell that he stands out, what with him having brown hair instead of the usual black that she sees. Though, it was messy, but he seemed pretty friendly, she supposes. She sparks an interest in him, but looks away as she stares at the broken musical device with a long crack in the screen for several moments. (It's okay, I didn't have any music in it anyway..)

She glances back up to the boy, a friendly smile on her expression. "I'm terribly sorry, I should've been watching where I was going," she laughs again, in a quite bubbly and cheerful manner, moving her arm to pull a strand of pink hair to be tucked behind her pieced ear. "Are you okay? Nothing hurt?"

"Why would you ask me that? I was the one who bumped into you!" his eyes surveyed her face. "I'm sorry, I was distracted. You didn't get hurt or anything, did you? I couldn't forgive myself if I hurt such a nice lady such as yourself!" he smiled warmly and dusted himself off.

Inside, he was thinking over a couple things, one of which was about who she was. Though she replied in a way that said she wasn't anybody of any importance, just some girl, if you will, her reactions were just a tad bit off. Not in tone, not her face, but there was the slightest delay about everything, as if she was thinking it through. There were two explanations to this, one was that she was really stupid, or the other was that she was really smart. He'll find out soon though....

Out of habit, she briefly slides a hand to lightly pat away once at imaginary dust off of her clothing, a slight flick in her eyes from moving between his hands to go back to his face, after observing subconsciously. (Stop it. You're beginning to lose her. ... 'Himori' should be likely to continue with the friendliness with casual talk before taking off.) "Oh, is that so?" Her right hand is brought to slightly cover her laugh, the other hanging almost loosely to the side of her opposing side's hip. "I didn't get hurt at all, but thank you for your concern." 'Himori' politely reassures, "but you'd have to forgive me, I've been told that I'm a bit of an airhead so.. " 'Himori' pauses, a slight frown is brought forward as she becomes slightly disturbed. ([i]No.. she wouldn't say that. She's too prideful and egotistic.)

This pause lasts for about a few seconds, the distant look disappearing before she becomes animated again, "please, allow me to take it as my fault." She bows forward, but then stops halfway through. 'Himori' makes a sound of epiphany, as if she remembered something important, "ah! You seem rather young, don't you? If you don't mind me asking," she clasps her hands together to the side of her face, friendly smile regained, "would you happen to be a university student, by any chance?" She develops a slightly hopeful expression with a twinge of having worried previously onto her expression. (I haven't thought of any sort of history behind her character just yet. Hopefully, adding detail taken from this man could help me out with developing a background further.. )

Noticing a longer pause, one that lasted a few seconds, Dalton was sure something was up. But what? "No, you're not an airhead, I wasn't paying attention to where I was going, so the blame's on me." he kept his warm smile. "Don't you think you're over exerting your head a bit too much?" normally, he'd let a person keep their charade up, but after recent events, he needed to make certain that he effectively used his brain. He was playing a game, wasn't he?

"False smiles aren't smiles at all." he stated.

Ryan was staring at the flat screen intently. The man was taunting Kira. Calling him out. Challenging him. Ryan shook his head, "I need to find this guy." He turned to walk home and make some calls when a man sprinted into the middle of the road and screamed, "Our lord, Kira, only kills the unjust! Suck it, Commotion!" Ryan started to move towards the clearly psychotic man to get him out of the street when out of nowhere a passenger bus turns the man into nothing but a stain on the road. Ryan covered his eyes with his sleeve as the blood splattered all over the road. "What in the hell?" he growled.

20 minutes later a response team had secured the area. Traffic had been stopped. Police tape had been put up, and forensics was dusting the area. Ryan stood over the pool of blood that used to be a criminal. He shook his head in frustration and sauntered off to the corner to think. He whipped out his book and checked his notes aloud. "A. All deceased shouted some babble about a 'Kira' before killing themselves. B. All were grown men. C. All were known criminals or trouble makers. D. A man called Commotion is on Kira's trail. E. Commotion knows more about Kira than anyone else, as it seems. F. All were suicides. G. Kira supposedly kills out of 'Justice' H. Thanks to Commotion, I know kira is in Kumomi." He sighed and closed his book. "I need to go home." He pocketed his book and wandered away from the scene.

He arrived at his apartment late in the evening and dropped his blood stained jacket on the ground, kicked off his shoes, and sat down at his desk. He immediately began phoning every informant he knew of, trying to find Commotion. If there was anyone who could help with this investigation, It was him.

She intended to laugh modestly as he did as well, but stilled as he spoke with statements that would remove her reason with having to keep up the charade with him. 'Hiromi' stares at him in wide-eyed shock, and begins to erode away from the exterior as if afraid to continue answering back to this man, where Variel was venomously glaring at him deep inside, feeling insulted. No use in keeping up with 'Hiromi' then. Quickly, there is like a switch in her, and then takes on a more different aura about her as she rolls up her long sleeves and takes out a hairband to pull back her long hair into a ponytail to match the new persona. She smiles in a much different matter now, as if slightly strained and mildly upset, which was slightly true to how she truly felt. Her voice's tone changes from that of a bubbly personality to a more matured and even in soft-spoken pitch, "ah, I must apologize then." Moving and reassuring her posture to that of a more natural and straight posture instead of how amateurishly and stiffly 'Hiromi' stood, Variel changed into a new face. Completely, she transforms into that of a different person. " I didn't expect for anyone to be able to find me out so soon.."

She gestured her hand like that of a business greeting towards the man who, although was smiling in a seemingly kind manner, was really someone that she could much more cautious of. It's quite alright, 'Hiromi' was a prototype rough draft. "My name's Nurosawa Shizuka, aspiring rookie actress." A sheepish smile. It's easier to move when you're used to a specific character. "I'm so sorry that I had to intended to deceive you, but I was supposed to be playing this new part in an upcoming movie. It was a pretty big break for me." She takes on a forlorn and more distant look that showed of how hurt she seemed to have been found out so easily, covering up the deeper and darker emotions that would easily show more in her eyes in this state. Concealing her other hand into a jacket sleeve with the broken musical device, she continued to smile with a broken ego of both faces. "I guess that I need to try harder to improve my skills though.. Haha. I can't seem to lie properly in my acting." Such hypocrisy.
