Kaori blushed at the thought of it. She started to eat the chocolate, that's what the humans called it. She liked the taste but it didn't fill her hunger. As she finished it she heard her stomach grumble. She looked down and sighed. Then she looked up at her master,"Should we get to know each other more? I mean we barely know each other." She frowned and awaited for his answer. She was thinking he would probably just say "Oh no sorry I have to go." Or "Wasn't the candy bar enough?" She suddenly felt angry at the thought of it.

"H-hey, don't just go through my drawers!" Ace said, blushing a bright red when she found his flowery boxers. Yes, he was a boxers guy. Briefs...weirded him out for some reason. But his brother bought those for him as a gag last Christmas and he never planned on wearing them. He was a manly man! He couldn't let a girl go on thinking he actually wore that flowery stuff! He wasn't even sure why they made boxers with that design. So brothers can laugh when they see the look on their little brother's face when they give it to him. he thought unenthusiastically.
"Turn around, if you want," Zoe said and the blush hardly faltered. He quickly spun on heel and faced the door, closing his eyes so he wouldn't even have the chance of accidentally glimpsing at her getting dressed. "Done," she told him and he untensed. Ace slowly glanced behind him--just to make sure--before realizing that she was, indeed, fully dressed so he could relax.
He looked her over. "Looks kind of funny on you," he commented before shrugging and leaning back against the door. "So about these 'powers' you mentioned. What's up with that? Does that mean I can fly now?" He smiled at the thought of him flying through the skies, looking down at the awe-struck people below--just before he'd slam into a light post and embarrass himself in front of the media. Frowning, he shook that thought away and waited for her to elaborate.

"Not yet, but eventually. For now you'll be able to move lightweight things, hit your opponents, and maybe even confuse them a little." Pausing, Zoe thought over how to best explain things to him. Start from the beginning. That would work, right? "I'm a wind demon. That means I control wind. It's my element... The wings are just my own thing, though. So yeah, you aren't going to get them." Unless humans learn how to graph wings onto their backs, but she doubted that. Besides, she was rather proud of her wings. She would be annoyed if she saw someone else with them. Even if her's would be cooler. "My powers will eventually be the same as yours. Until then, you'll listen to me and train with me." Of course there was always the chance that he'd become stronger then her, but she doubted that. She had been training most of her life, after all. Looking around, Zoe sat down on his bed. It was comfortable, she supposed.
"Is your brother going to be here for the rest of the day or is he going somewhere?" She asked, thinking quickly. They could always fly around and looked for a place to train, but it would be a lot easier for them to just train in the backyard. They wouldn't need more room until she started teaching him the really complicated stuff.

"It was only a transfer. I meant nothing by it." She said stubbornly. She refused to give anyone power over her, even if that meant forcing them away. It. Meant. Nothing. "And don't pinch yourself. It makes it look like you don't believe what just happened actually happened. Good grief." She shook her head. She couldn't tell, though, that she still had a light pink blush. It was faint, but there. She was still an embarassed teen girl, no matter how mature she seemed.

"Not yet, but eventually. For now you'll be able to move lightweight things, hit your opponents, and maybe even confuse them a little." Zoe said after a few moments, then paused again. Still, after that sort of explanation, he couldn't help but feel a little skeptical all over again. "I'm a wind demon. That means I control wind. It's my element... The wings are just my own thing, though. So yeah, you aren't going to get them." He shrugged, figuring he didn't feel all that disappointed about that. Who needs wings? "My powers will eventually be the same as yours. Until then, you'll listen to me and train with me." Ace cocked his head, ready to say something about that, but quickly shut it. "Is your brother going to be here for the rest of the day or is he going somewhere?"
"Knock knock, Ace! You aren't doin' nothin' are you?" Speak of the devil... Ace turned around and opened his door, glaring halfheartedly at his older brother as he stood proudly in the doorway. "Hey, Ace, I need to go out to meet the guys. I'm trusting you here with her alone. Okay?"
Ace nodded and sighed, practically pushing Lan out the door of his bedroom. "Right, right, I gotcha. Have fun and all that jazz. See ya later," he said in a rush. Lan only laughed and pat him on the head before waving to Zoe, winking at her, then leaving the house. Ace looked after him for a moment, before sighing in relief and turning back to Zoe. "There, problem solved." He remembered he was going to try being nicer and more open about all this crazy stuff, so he clasped his hands together and forced himself to brighten up. "Alright, so what do I need to do first?"

"First things first, you have to learn how I do things." Zoe reached and opened up the window, before looking back and winking at Ace. "First; try to touch me!" She called out, jumping through the window and landing solidly. She quickly dashed to the opposite side of the yard, smiling cockily at Ace. "If you can land even a finger on me, then you win. I win if you give up," she told him. "To make things fair I won't fly," she added. This was going to be fun, she thought. I wonder how long it'll take for him to give up... She decided it would be an hour, at best. If it was more, then he'd be ready to move on.

She definitely looked a lot better than before, seeing her naked wasn't something Mithos needed to see every day. She looked much better clothed. Subconsciously he blushed and quickly shook his head banishing the thoughts and visions of Kai being naked to the back of his mind. "You owe me $65," he stated in a confident but commanding tone, demanding respect from the female which was extremely out of character for the shy boy named Mithos. "And what are you insane? You don't just jump out windows like that!" he continued raising his voice before softening his stare and taking both hands away from his hips. "You could have been hurt..." he uttered the words in a hushed tone half hoping that she wouldn't of heard him, averting his eyes away from the demon in front. "What were you trying to tell me anyway?" Curiosity had taken the boy over by now and he was willing to listen even if he wouldn't admit it.

Ace's face dropped. She really was serious about this. He raked a hand through his hair, before shrugging to himself and going out the window himself. He stood there watching her for a few seconds, wondering what the best way to do this would be. He was smiling. Maybe this would be a little fun anyway. "Alright, you've got yourself a deal, sister," he called back just as cockily. He couldn't just chase after her straight on--she'd run. He couldn't go casually around--she wasn't stupid. For a few seconds, he couldn't think of anything at all, then an idea suddenly struck him and he snapped his fingers. Maybe he could chase her into a trap. It'd be hard, but he might be able to get her into the alley down the street, the one blocked with a locked fence to keep people out of the garden. It's all I have. he thought with a nod.
Smirking at Zoe, Ace gave chase.

Good, the basics of controlling wind. Learn by doing was the way Zoe rolled, and she didn't see any reason to change that for Ace. It would work quickly, and if he didn't learn before the Cirens came then they'd be in deep trouble, even if Zoe was there. It was, after all, hard enough to beat them by oneself. Protecting a human would make it even more difficult. Of course I could handle it, Zoe thought. I'm the best out of all the demons, the fastest and the most skilled. The others don't come near by level of ability, she thought with confidence.
"That was a low-level burst of air. Granted you don't need to go through all the motions, but when you're starting out air if going to be harder to control, so you'll want more definite symbols. When you get stronger you can limit the amount your body actually has to move to summon wind. For example..." Zoe raised her hand again and flicked her wrist towards Ace. Another burst of wind, this one strong enough to make a human slide back on their butt a few feet, launched itself at Ace. "Your main weapon is a burst of air. Using it properly you can knock your opponent down, unbalance them, and even knock them out." Which Zoe wasn't going to go to Ace, for obvious reasons. She didn't know where the healing areas were in this city, after all.
