As she said that she was right. A rock bed wouldn't be good at all. "Well maybe I can get you something but I'd need money. Also about the food I think I have something." I say looking in my bag and finding a snack. A candy bar. "Here eat this. It won't make you full but maybe I can get food later." I throw the candy bar over to Kaori.

(Sorry had to hurry on this. We're going fishing.)

Kaori looked down at the candy bar. Well I would expect this much from a teenager. I wish I could of landed in a rich school. Oh well I guess this is my guardian. I have to give him power soon though so we can start training. The only way to do that is by a kiss which he would be weirded out if I did that.
Kaori blushed at the thought of it. She started to eat the chocolate, that's what the humans called it. She liked the taste but it didn't fill her hunger. As she finished it she heard her stomach grumble. She looked down and sighed. Then she looked up at her master,"Should we get to know each other more? I mean we barely know each other." She frowned and awaited for his answer. She was thinking he would probably just say "Oh no sorry I have to go." Or "Wasn't the candy bar enough?" She suddenly felt angry at the thought of it.

Weird to ask that. Though I guess if we're suppose to help each other kill cirens we should know each other. "Well what's more to know? Your a demon and I'm a human. Eh. I have a family of four. Me, my sister, my mom, and my dad. If you count our dog then it's five." I say walking over to the stone couch. "See it isn't so bad." I then lay on it. "... Yeah, it is bad." I was thinking of getting something for it. But then the thought came with money. That was the problem. "Hey Kaori. You said your were a demon of Earth. Does that mean there is Fire, Water, and Air? If there is we need to find a water demon. Maybe we could make a water bed for you. But the chances of a Water demon isn't that possible." I say but I stopped myself remembering the pool. That girl with Caleb. She knew about demons. Maybe she could lead me to the water demon! Yeah that would be funny. More importantly we need to find the other demons. I mean if there are any.

"Tch. I gave you some of my power. Not nearly as much as I have, but if I were to give you too much you might hurt yourself or someone with it on accident. No, I gave you just enough to start training. No point in waiting, I suppose." Power...? Just what was that supposed to mean!? That wasn't a very good explanation at all! Before, she was a little crazy, now she was just full-on wacked. Ace merely watched her with a skeptical look and sighed helplessly, knowing there nothing he would be able to do about it aside from going along. He wouldn't want to make her upset.

"H-hey, don't just go through my drawers!" Ace said, blushing a bright red when she found his flowery boxers. Yes, he was a boxers guy. Briefs...weirded him out for some reason. But his brother bought those for him as a gag last Christmas and he never planned on wearing them. He was a manly man! He couldn't let a girl go on thinking he actually wore that flowery stuff! He wasn't even sure why they made boxers with that design. So brothers can laugh when they see the look on their little brother's face when they give it to him. he thought unenthusiastically.

"Turn around, if you want," Zoe said and the blush hardly faltered. He quickly spun on heel and faced the door, closing his eyes so he wouldn't even have the chance of accidentally glimpsing at her getting dressed. "Done," she told him and he untensed. Ace slowly glanced behind him--just to make sure--before realizing that she was, indeed, fully dressed so he could relax.

He looked her over. "Looks kind of funny on you," he commented before shrugging and leaning back against the door. "So about these 'powers' you mentioned. What's up with that? Does that mean I can fly now?" He smiled at the thought of him flying through the skies, looking down at the awe-struck people below--just before he'd slam into a light post and embarrass himself in front of the media. Frowning, he shook that thought away and waited for her to elaborate.

Zoe shrugged at his words, not really caring how she looked. She could always go out and get new clothes later, which she probably would. These were comfortable and all, but not her thing. She preferred to feel the wind, feel everything running past her. Plus, less clothing meant less to get in her way. She supposed she also looked attractive in certain kinds of attire, but had never really thought about it... "So about these 'powers' you mentioned. What's up with that? Does that mean I can fly now?" Zoe gave him a small smile. Seeing Ace fly... Now, that would be something. But no, he'd need a little more control over wind before they tried something like that. Though, it would be funny to see him try. Zoe supposed she could always swoop in and save him, in case it didn't work (which it almost certainly wouldn't- she hadn't given him that much power).

"Not yet, but eventually. For now you'll be able to move lightweight things, hit your opponents, and maybe even confuse them a little." Pausing, Zoe thought over how to best explain things to him. Start from the beginning. That would work, right? "I'm a wind demon. That means I control wind. It's my element... The wings are just my own thing, though. So yeah, you aren't going to get them." Unless humans learn how to graph wings onto their backs, but she doubted that. Besides, she was rather proud of her wings. She would be annoyed if she saw someone else with them. Even if her's would be cooler. "My powers will eventually be the same as yours. Until then, you'll listen to me and train with me." Of course there was always the chance that he'd become stronger then her, but she doubted that. She had been training most of her life, after all. Looking around, Zoe sat down on his bed. It was comfortable, she supposed.

"Is your brother going to be here for the rest of the day or is he going somewhere?" She asked, thinking quickly. They could always fly around and looked for a place to train, but it would be a lot easier for them to just train in the backyard. They wouldn't need more room until she started teaching him the really complicated stuff.

"Human paranoia. It's all-together possible for dark demons to die off without throwing anything out of balance. It's like an animal going extinct, in a way. The only difference is now light demons are also receiving some training in darkness, making everything balance again. It's just their aren't anough light demons with a talent for the dark to actually start breeding darkness demons again. The water demons were wiped out once, but we came back. There's your useful history lesson for the day." Misty was too tired to keep doing this. Damn egg.

"interesting well ummmmm if i am a guardian of water what am i suppose to do. That sword training will help but i mean that won't be much on something with some major intent to take me out" Caleb said getting nervous thinking of how he could look like a victim o Vlad the impaler or something. "Plus if I have a relation to an element doesn't that mean i can use it or something because i don't think i can control the water fountain water better then anyone else here, expect you Misty" Caleb said thinking to his favorite show as a kid Avatar the Last Air Bender and thinking if all the Guardians will have power over them like that

"You can gain power over water, but at a small price for me." Misty sighed. Damn power transfers and kisses. "If you really want to know, no, it's not taking one of your limbs or something. That's for the battlefield, and it's not your limbs that are meant to be lost. I do, however, have to transfer my power to you via... kiss. And before you ask, no I haven't done this sort of thing before. I only know about transfers, I've never actually done one myself." Amazing how she managed to keep even the slightest hint of a blush from coming through. Just to catch him off guard, she quickly pressed her lips to his and backed away almost an instant later.

"I only know about transfers, I've never actually done one myself." Caleb heard thinking a kiss i guess that mean we better ge... then almost out of know where Misty kisses him and as quickly as it she started she ends it. "Um uh I... I.." Caleb couldn't think straight or form a sentence he was just kissed by some one who barely knows him. much less kissed him at all. That never happens. Caleb even pinched himself to make sure it wasn't a dream. "Um Was that a transfer it seemed intimate" still barley able to form that sentence his face so bright that he could be used as a red light bulb

Misty blushed, but forced it back down. She hated doing that! After all, she had never taken an interest in being intimate with someone of opposite gender before in that way.
"It was only a transfer. I meant nothing by it." She said stubbornly. She refused to give anyone power over her, even if that meant forcing them away. It. Meant. Nothing. "And don't pinch yourself. It makes it look like you don't believe what just happened actually happened. Good grief." She shook her head. She couldn't tell, though, that she still had a light pink blush. It was faint, but there. She was still an embarassed teen girl, no matter how mature she seemed.

"Well I can't believe what just happened that's the thing" Caleb said finally getting control over himself "ummm if it didn't mean anything why is you face pink?" i hope nobody from school saw that worrying that he would be harassed by more than just the bullies. Ryan would give him so many problems about that there would be no break. looking around Caleb noticed that Kai was till there. "Oh Kai your still here a little awkward"

Ace huffed and awaited the explanation, wondering what Zoe would be able to conjure up this time. He couldn't even make a guess. Then again, he supposed he was being a little rude, even though he wasn't expressing these thoughts out loud. He shouldn't be judging and after all he did feel strange after that...that unmentionable act that doesn't need to actually be spoken about. He should be more open minded, he supposed. She could fly. That should be reason enough to believe her.

"Not yet, but eventually. For now you'll be able to move lightweight things, hit your opponents, and maybe even confuse them a little." Zoe said after a few moments, then paused again. Still, after that sort of explanation, he couldn't help but feel a little skeptical all over again. "I'm a wind demon. That means I control wind. It's my element... The wings are just my own thing, though. So yeah, you aren't going to get them." He shrugged, figuring he didn't feel all that disappointed about that. Who needs wings? "My powers will eventually be the same as yours. Until then, you'll listen to me and train with me." Ace cocked his head, ready to say something about that, but quickly shut it. "Is your brother going to be here for the rest of the day or is he going somewhere?"

"Knock knock, Ace! You aren't doin' nothin' are you?" Speak of the devil... Ace turned around and opened his door, glaring halfheartedly at his older brother as he stood proudly in the doorway. "Hey, Ace, I need to go out to meet the guys. I'm trusting you here with her alone. Okay?"

Ace nodded and sighed, practically pushing Lan out the door of his bedroom. "Right, right, I gotcha. Have fun and all that jazz. See ya later," he said in a rush. Lan only laughed and pat him on the head before waving to Zoe, winking at her, then leaving the house. Ace looked after him for a moment, before sighing in relief and turning back to Zoe. "There, problem solved." He remembered he was going to try being nicer and more open about all this crazy stuff, so he clasped his hands together and forced himself to brighten up. "Alright, so what do I need to do first?"

Zoe looked at Lan knocked on the door, informing the two of them that he'd be going out to meet 'the guys' and that they'd be all alone. "Right, right, I gotcha. Have fun and all that jazz. See ya later," Ace said in a rush. Lan laughed and patted him on the head, waving and winking at Zoe, before leaving. Ace looked after him before sighing in relief and looking back at her. "There, problem solved." Ace said. Good, Zoe thought. Without distractions they'd be able to train much better, and longer. Hopefully Lan would be gone for the rest of the day, thought Zoe doubted it. As long as it went on until nightfall, she supposed she'd be all right. "Alright, so what do I need to do first?" Ace asked, clasping his hands together. He's much more... Positive, Zoe thought. Good. It wouldn't do to train someone who wasn't fully ready and committed. Zoe gave him a small smile and looked out his room's window. They were on the first (and only) floor. Good, she thought. I don't think he'd follow if we were on the second floor.

"First things first, you have to learn how I do things." Zoe reached and opened up the window, before looking back and winking at Ace. "First; try to touch me!" She called out, jumping through the window and landing solidly. She quickly dashed to the opposite side of the yard, smiling cockily at Ace. "If you can land even a finger on me, then you win. I win if you give up," she told him. "To make things fair I won't fly," she added. This was going to be fun, she thought. I wonder how long it'll take for him to give up... She decided it would be an hour, at best. If it was more, then he'd be ready to move on.

#, as written by Black
The boy had been walking around for a little while, dodging everyone who almost brushed past him. "Why does there have to be so many people? This is why I hate malls..." He sighed irritably under his breath as the search continued for the girl who stole his money. She's such a freak! Why am I even bothering to look for her? It was only $65... Suddenly out of the corner of his eye he noticed a head of blond hair. The length looked the same but it was hard to tell exactly who it was from the back, she had different clothes on too. Well at least if that's her she looks better than before... Getting his courage together he took in a deep breath of air puffing out his chest and storming over to Kai. "You!" He called to her whilst he was in mid-walk, hoping that she wouldn't just run off. The two she was talking to had disappeared by now and Mithos stood firmly in front of Kai possibly blocking off any route of escape. He held his hands on his hips and scowled towards the other, looking her up and down once to get a good look at her new attire.

She definitely looked a lot better than before, seeing her naked wasn't something Mithos needed to see every day. She looked much better clothed. Subconsciously he blushed and quickly shook his head banishing the thoughts and visions of Kai being naked to the back of his mind. "You owe me $65," he stated in a confident but commanding tone, demanding respect from the female which was extremely out of character for the shy boy named Mithos. "And what are you insane? You don't just jump out windows like that!" he continued raising his voice before softening his stare and taking both hands away from his hips. "You could have been hurt..." he uttered the words in a hushed tone half hoping that she wouldn't of heard him, averting his eyes away from the demon in front. "What were you trying to tell me anyway?" Curiosity had taken the boy over by now and he was willing to listen even if he wouldn't admit it.

Ace watched Zoe curiously as she made her way across his bedroom and towards the window. She wasn't saying anything. He almost opened his mouth to ask her what she was doing, when she finally spoke instead. "First things first, you have to learn how I do things." He cocked his head and again, opened his mouth to speak, but was again interrupted by her. She hopped outside through the window and he frowned in confusion. Now what? She was really weird sometimes. "First; try to touch me!" His jaw almost dropped. She wanted him to play tag with her? Was she nuts? How was this training? He ran to the window and looked out it as she ran to the other side of the yard. "If you can land even a finger on me, then you win. I win if you give up," she said. "To make things fair I won't fly."

Ace's face dropped. She really was serious about this. He raked a hand through his hair, before shrugging to himself and going out the window himself. He stood there watching her for a few seconds, wondering what the best way to do this would be. He was smiling. Maybe this would be a little fun anyway. "Alright, you've got yourself a deal, sister," he called back just as cockily. He couldn't just chase after her straight on--she'd run. He couldn't go casually around--she wasn't stupid. For a few seconds, he couldn't think of anything at all, then an idea suddenly struck him and he snapped his fingers. Maybe he could chase her into a trap. It'd be hard, but he might be able to get her into the alley down the street, the one blocked with a locked fence to keep people out of the garden. It's all I have. he thought with a nod.

Smirking at Zoe, Ace gave chase.

"Alright, you've got yourself a deal, sister," Ace said, up to the deal. Obviously he had been a little skeptical at first, but he'd soon realize that it was harder to trap an air demon then you'd think. And Zoe wasn't even going to fly. Of course, she didn't want to completely humiliate her guardian. That would be too awkward. Just show him what she could do. Smirking, Ace charged. Zoe gave him a small smile before raising a hand, palm facing him, and making a circle in the air before pushing her hand towards him. A gust of wind, strong enough to knock a person off their feet, launched itself at Ace.

Good, the basics of controlling wind. Learn by doing was the way Zoe rolled, and she didn't see any reason to change that for Ace. It would work quickly, and if he didn't learn before the Cirens came then they'd be in deep trouble, even if Zoe was there. It was, after all, hard enough to beat them by oneself. Protecting a human would make it even more difficult. Of course I could handle it, Zoe thought. I'm the best out of all the demons, the fastest and the most skilled. The others don't come near by level of ability, she thought with confidence.

"That was a low-level burst of air. Granted you don't need to go through all the motions, but when you're starting out air if going to be harder to control, so you'll want more definite symbols. When you get stronger you can limit the amount your body actually has to move to summon wind. For example..." Zoe raised her hand again and flicked her wrist towards Ace. Another burst of wind, this one strong enough to make a human slide back on their butt a few feet, launched itself at Ace. "Your main weapon is a burst of air. Using it properly you can knock your opponent down, unbalance them, and even knock them out." Which Zoe wasn't going to go to Ace, for obvious reasons. She didn't know where the healing areas were in this city, after all.
