Baam looked at the man that had walked in and spoke to her. She gave a small nod, "hello. You would be?" He didn't seem like a warrior by his appearance, and he couldn't be the Lord considering how he walked in from the outside of the palace. She inspected his body language for a moment, he carried himself in a manor that screamed reaper inside her head. She wasn't really thrilled about a Reaper being in the same building as her, she didn't like to be within a hundred feet of them. Reapers had killed her parents, so she didn't trust them in the least bit. A small smirk came across her face as she looked at his arm, how interesting, she thought to herself. She folded her arms across her chest and shifted her weight to her right leg awaiting his reply.

She watched as he moved his left arm closer to his side but didn't think much of it. "I'm Baam, one of the hired Warriors for this Lord." She says, "i expect i am correct in assuming you are the Reaper for this Lord." She looked at him, a harpy? Haven't seen one of those in a while, she thought to herself. Her tail flicked back and forth a bit and one of her ears cocked to the side a bit, listening to see if anyone else was around.

"I thought so," she said when he answered her question. She watched him as his eyes watched her tail and she couldn't help but let out a little laugh, the action seemed a bit childish to her mind. "I have not seen the Lord yet, in fact, you are the first person i've seen besides all the guards around. He sure has a lot of them. And the way they just let me in, makes me wonder if they already know who i am," She said to him. She looked around a bit, but there seemed to be no guards in the room they were in.

"Yeah, you would think that the guards would be more cautious and watchful. They just acted like i had been here before, and last time i checked...i haven't." She looks at him silently for a moment, "But why did you decide to work for this Lord? Or for a Lord at all?" She was curious, she hadn't expected that any Reapers would want to work under someone, she didn't think they had the ability to. She wasn't fond of them, and she just figured they were all the same, and that this one was putting on a nice show so he could get everyone to like him...before he stabbed them in the backs.

Aiko walked through the woods with her scythe on her back. She looked around curiously at the unknown woods. I think I am close to the Southern Palace.... I have nothing to do there though.... Aiko climbed up a tree and looked around. "I think I'll go explore near the Northern palace... " She jumped down from the tree and walked away leaving no evidence that she had been here.

Yrael quietly made his way down the stairs and towards the main hall of the castle. He had been in the middle of researching when he had been informed that his new recruits had arrived. Quite punctual they must be, he had not expected them so soon. His robes whipped around his ankles and he carefully tucked a strand of long black hair behind his ear as he entered the main hall from a side door. He had taken the back stairwell from his study instead of using the main stair.
"Ah, a pleasure to have all of you gathered here at my humble home," he started, looking each person up and down as he spoke. "I must apologize for the wait, I have had much to prepare for this upcoming war. I'm sure you understand." He waved a hand across the room, then tucked his hands into his sleeves. "Please, make yourselves comfortable. As soon as I am sure everyone is here, we will begin."

Yrael glanced at Baam as she spoke. Of course, one always had to be late. Yrael had asked them all to arrive at an exact hour and already one was showing that he may not be worth the cost. He turned when Adonai entered.
"Ah, yes, I was just about to ring for you. Go and make sure the cooks have refreshments made and serve them to our guests." He was about to say more when the last member of the party made his appearance, with snide comments, Yrael noted.
"Actually, my furnishings have all been handcrafted by the best in the region. I paid them quite handsomely for their work. Now that you are all here, it is my pleasure to introduce myself and my staff. I am Lord Yrael. This," he gestured to his pet, "is Adonai. You will meet Miss Stevie later. If you need anything, do not hesitate to ask one of them. Let us make introductions and become better acquainted. Please, sit." With that, Yrael settled himself on a two-person couch by the main stairway and watched the crew he had assembled, waiting for Adonai to set about at his task.

Baam watched as the new guy came in, he seemed somewhat strange, coming out of the shadows like that. She assumed that he was going to be a warrior who would not take help from other warriors, much like herself. She hated working with others, she usually found that they just got in her way...most of the time. She went and sat down when Lord Yrael had suggested it, crossing one leg over the other and leaning back into where she sat, looking rather careless. She looked at him, so we're supposed to like...say our name or something, she thought to herself. Her tail laid perfectly still, somewhat wrapping itself around her waist to stay out of the way. "Baam, at your survive...sir," she didn't really know what else to say, so she left it at that.

Baam's ears twitched as the girl did this and she turned her head quickly and looked at her, "yes?" She said trying not to yell at the girl considering how annoyed she was at the moment. She looked at her with a bi of intense annoyance in her eyes.

Yrael sighed, not really listening to the 'introductions, since they weren't taking place anyway. Though this one warrior seemed to have a big mouth, Yrael couldn't help liking his attitude. Odd though, Yrael liked the paintings on the wall, he wondered how others could not enjoy their beauty. But that was beside the point. He looked at Aiko who was sitting on the banister to the stairs next to him.
"Could you please get down, you'll ruin the finish." Then he turned back to the party. "Adonai should be back with refreshments soon. It seems as though all of you have made yourselves comfortable so I will get on to the point. As you have read in my letters, I and the Northern Lord have fallen into a... disagreement. Because there is no real way to talk it through peacefully, and because I would very much like to expand my territory, I have hired all of you to deal with her. I will allow you to stay in the guest house and in chambers here in the main house. Feel free to ask my servants for anything you require. I have been coming up with a strategy that may work but I'll need a little more time to finish the details. Until then, I would like someone to slip into Lady Odette's castle to see what she has planned." He knew he was skipping from topic to topic and hoped they could all keep up. He had much to do and to be honest, was getting quite bored with this group.

"Manners, Adonai, guests are always served first." But he quickly took one of the small delicacies before Adonai could turn away. He inspected it before taking a bite, then turned to Hero. "I believe Baam is right. With your ability to hide in the shadows I would like you to infiltrate the Northern Lord's lands and see what you can about her plans concerning this upcoming battle. Once we are relatively certain of her actions I will issue an official challenge to our rival. I will allow all of you a two day rest to recover from your travels here. It will also give me time to finish my own plans." Yrael gestured to Adonai, indicating that when the Incubus was done serving refreshments, he should come and sit on the floor in front of Yrael.

Yrael raised an eyebrow and smirked. "You seem awfully anxious to be out there. When Hero returns with the information I will send you as my herald to inform Lady Odette of my challenge against her. Everyone else will be with me. You will leave a half a day before us to give Odette time to arrange her defenses. Then you will return and we will make our attack." Yrael looked around, waiting to see if anyone had anything to say about the proceedings.
